Carry Me in Your Heart

I hoped that all this fighting would stop. It scares me to death. I know I'm not the easy option here. If I could make my heart feel less I would, I know I haven't known you for a year... but you are my best friend. I don't think a certain amount of time is required for my feelings to be validated. I know this is scary, but just be willing to work things out if you feel the same way as I do. Because I know you love me too, I know you are figuring life out, but I want to be your partner in every moment. I want to be there in all of those moments, no matter your mood. My heart sees your beauty, even when there's complete silence. I love that silence more than you can ever know. I love you more than I can even know. And it's scary but my heart just recognizes you like that, like I've known you in another lifetime. In some way I can't explain but I just feel it. I see your resilience, your strength, the way you take care of the people you love. I admire you. You bring love to your home and I know it isn't always recognized. I know life is anything but easy.
