June 16, 2023 - White-tailed Swallow (Hirundo megaensis) Found only in a small area of southern Ethiopia, these swallows live in open grasslands and savannas with acacias, as well as villages. Foraging near flowering trees, usually alone or in pairs, they feed on beetles and probably other insects. They build open cup-shaped nests from mud, lined with grass and hair, on structures in villages or occasionally in termite nests. Females lay clutches of three or four eggs. Classified as Vulnerable by the IUCN, they face threats from land conversion and climate change in their tiny range.

Krita’s softproofing makes my art look depressing

Here are some very early development artwork for Spider-Verse. Many of there paintings were done to develop the look of the film, the way things were broken up, abstract brush strokes, naturalistic light, etc. It’s nice to see many of these elements were kept and translated into the final film. You can see the changes stylistically especially in the set I design for Mile’s parents home here compare to my part 1 post~
