The Old Familiar Sting // last updated 14th March

Maureen Trevi won the 49th Annual Hunger Games, and has now been a victor for 11 years.

Dealing with her own demons for a decade now, alongside her victor duties. Now that the 60th Hunger Games is here and she is forced to be mentor for this year's game yet again. However for the first time she actually get a tribute that think he has a chance to survive the games.

Who were the two Morphlings in Catching fire and what was their story?

The First Quarter Quell // last updated 17th May

It's been 25 years since the dark ages and a new generation of children have grown up with no memory of those days. So to remind the power of the Capitol, they introduced a new type of fear with a Quarter Quell.

Bringing a new twist for every 25th anniversary of the end of the war.

For the first Quell the Districts had to vote for 1 girl and 1 boy to represent their District for this year's game.

5 tributes who did get picked were:

A girl with rebel ties

A local bully

An alleged arsonist

The daughter of a hated politician

And a boy thought by his district that he can win

Greason and Isak before the Wheaton incident (I’m so sorry)

-Maureen: Sailor Venus

“Venus goddess of love was destroyed by global warming” would def represent Maureen’s character as she used to be so bright but then the Capitol ate my girl alive :(

She’s still has a beautiful soul and heart so she’d be Sailor Venus fr

-Sienna: Sailor Uranus

Even though the planet name sounds funny, it symbolizes a lot of individuality, and one of the cool things about sienna is her ability to stay true to her character and self no matter what :3

-Claudia: Sailor Mars

Think her characterization fits Mars, with her fiery personality and passion to help out people! Plus the planet representing the god of war and her coming from a career district and volunteering. Also think if she had a power, it’d be fire based

-Evelyn: Sailor Jupiter

One of the first reasons I thought of Evelyn as Sailor Jupiter was because, if I recall, you said her godly parent would be Zeus, and Zeus is represented by the planet Jupiter. Also think Jupiter being the biggest aligns with how Evelyn initially had this superiority complex over the other tributes in the beginning. Plus it represents knowledge and spiritual growth, like Evelyn in ways

-Muriel: Sailor Mercury

In the show, Sailor Mercury is represented by a smart and intelligent girl, and the planet itself does represent intellect and speed, which I think match Muriel’s character

-Lexie: Sailor Pluto

Pluto represents time and the underworld, but also represents evolution, which we see in Lexies character as she grows to become stronger in character mentally, and being the underworld with her doomed in the narrative to die :(

-Kennedy: Sailor Saturn

Saturn in both the show and in general was often associated with heavy discipline, time, and destruction, which I feel Kennedy fits well because of her cool, nonchalant attitude and ability to stay calm in rough situations.

-Polina or Pearl: Sailor Neptune

Wasn’t really sure for this one, just felt they fit cause of the sea/ocean motifs with District 4 and the planet lol (if anyone has any other ideas then feel free to add)

-Juniper: Sailor Moon

Her instinctual reactions and nonchalant attitude could be associated with the moon, and the moon also represents Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, and I think Juniper would have traits similar to her (idk)

At the time of the early drafts of “Harvie” (her name wasn’t Harvie yet but it was Pauline but changed it for being too similar to Polina and liked that name more) still being a POV, “Wheaton” (or the equivalent of him) wasn’t going to be from D9

Think it depends on how popular and relevant the Victor is

For my version of the Games at that period they were very obsessed with the idea of like referencing the District related colors in the interview clothes as much as possible and was the rule the stylists had to follow for it

The Quell is the first time that it’s happening that the Capitol offers like actual clothes for the interview so by the time of Kennedy’s games it’s been a thing for 6 years
