Xi finally got a new update, which means a new robe that reflects her personality better :3 Oh and a return of her serving girl outfit for when she is working part time waitressing the Feng's party events. The character on the back of her robe is "heaven" or it can be read as "dawn" or "sky" which fits into her themes. She still wears Yi's Sol sigil as a sign of respect, and...she may be in line to become the new Sol of Innovation

Tis a really big and prolly impossible IF anon, but no. Yi would not be the type to hide that from his husband and daughter. Mostly because Yi is shit at hiding anything, he's very easy to read so Kuafu would most likely pick up on him being pregnant and Xi has weird, Qi-sening magic powers that would tell her that Yi is off. They would be very well aware of it and even be helpful and excited....if this was all possible. I should mention Xi does techically have a sibling already, but he belongs to a friend of mine and we have talked to eachother about the two. They have a very cute Heng and Yi like relationship!

Being an annoying little ray of sunshine and hiding in vents. Jokes aside, Yi had to train her on the down low to defend herself if a need ever came to pass. But I'll let you in on a little secret anon. Yi actually didn't take the brunt of Jiequan's abuse. He took most of it sure. However once Xi reached the age of what the Jie clan considers to be "warrior age" which is age 12, Xi began experiencing Jiequan's brand "training". Take his motto "Hero's Forged in Agony" and apply it to a 12 year old girl. What gave Xi the ability to endure was a fleeting hope of one day meeting her actual father, and saving Yi and possibly herself from this hell. I guess the sunshine joke does still apply, she was tough to break because of her will and Jiequan did try to break her many times from public punishments, to grotesque torture in the prison, yet Xi remained strong with the hope and the belief she would get Yi out of here. Xi tried to protect Yi as best she could going into it as a teenager but Jiequan often would punish her for it, taking great pleasure in doing so mind you. Yi was not the only one who suffers physically. Xi suffers as well, but often for the sake of her mother and father she keeps silent about her pain.

Even now Yi still suffers from Jiequan’s abuse, my poor boy can never be up to what he used to be ever again. But the sweet answer to this bitterness is that both of them are happy with the one they got to produce. Even if Kuafu wasn’t in her life for the first 15 of it physically. Unless the Eigong can cure his illnesses then more kids is a no go.
