Why I Love Touge/Night Runs; When you have alot on your mind and you just need time to take a step back. You jump in your car, turn on music to get you in the mood, throw your car into gear and take off. Arriving to your route things get more intense in an almost an instant your typical urban auto pilot turns off and your focus heightens. You begin to be more aware of your surroundings focusing on the road ahead of you and the immediate condition of your car. Watching as the lane dividers whizz past you. Hand firmly gripping the steering wheel, with the other hand in sync with your left foot elegantly up and down shifting between the transitions of corners and straight aways. In that moment nothing else phases you. Not work, school, bills, or drama. All that is on your mind is the stretch of road ahead of you challenging you to go faster and faster.

札幌 幌見峠展望駐車場

SH-AWDについて。#shawd #kb1 #hondalegend #honda #acurarl #acura #vtec #jdm #usdm #swag 昨日、久々に近所の#峠 を早いペースで駆け抜けた。雪の無いシーズン最後の「走り納め」。とはいえスタッドレスタイヤなので、ぶん回す程ではないけれど。やっぱ、このSH-AWDのメカは本当すげぇ。直進安定性のAWDと、コーナー外側の蹴り出し。その都度、四輪に的確なトルク配分を割り当てる事で、FRに負けないクイッキーなハンドリングが実現。何回乗っても不思議な感動。この狭い峠道を、全長4930mm全幅1850mmもあるセダンが猫足のように軽いフットワークで走るのは圧巻。感覚的には、シビック見たいに涼しい顔でヘアピンもやりこなす。父親のY51フーガもイイ車だけど、こうはいかない。300psのV6で勾配の強い登り坂も全く破綻なく流れる。日産一辺倒だった自分が遂に、ひっくり返りかえされてしまったのかもしれない。

2014/02/09 一週間ぶりのライド。 で、今年初、そして、バイパスが開通して初めて京見峠に登ってみた。 ヘアピンカーブ4つ分を一跨ぎしてるので距離は短くなったけど、斜度は少し上がったかんじ。 ピークの氷室別れ付近は雪がいっぱい。春はまだ遠いな。
