something about saving transparent images to my phone (iphone running firefox app) and then sending them to discord is making them haunted, any other ios dragon people experiencing this or is my device uniquely sick?

#its so funny but also so perplexing #passing downtime at work by saving random scries and watching them get scrinkled #non-transparent images send fine. i tested drafts/private posting and those look fine #JUST transparent images sent to discord specifically and my apps and such are all up to date #ik this isnt a flight rising specific issue but i discovered it via sharing scries so ???

it sucks constantly feeling like "oh man i know an update is coming, i sure hope we get some QOL changes!" and instead we get something else that really needs QOL changes & a huge reminder of how desperately we need QOL changes

#adding a new fairgrounds game that doesn't get you as much money as fast as g&g is... certainly a choice #adding new fairgrounds content while still leaving the rest of that entire feature unbalanced to hell and not doing anything about that #... is! certainly! a choice...!!!#idk like respect to the dev team for their time and effort and all but sorry you kind of wasted it actually #also yeah it really is such a slap in the face to get a food based mini game and still no way to get more food.#happy 13 years of the dragon collecting website and also go fuck yourself if you like collecting lots of dragons i guess #can we at least raise the damn fairgrounds cap so i can at least gather funds to go waste on food stacks. christ

like genuinely what is the point of releasing a new game where the payout/time it takes to reach the lucky streak still doesn’t compare with doing hard mode glimmer & gloom for like 10-20 minutes? i’m forced to take my phone off portrait mode and fullscreen the game just to make it playable on mobile and then it doesn’t even compete with glimgloom. the other old games weren’t rebalanced in any way so those don’t compete either. and the fairgrounds cap is still a measly 75kt. entirely pointless update bad anniversary booooooo

#also less of a genuine criticism and more of a personal complaint but so many of the fillings/toppings being gross bug slop is like #genuinely SO offputting to me i hate looking at half the stuff in this game #so no just play it for fun is not an option to me

desperately hope we get a nice neutral dark theme that doesn't have ugly yellow text everywhere eventually

#been forced to use slate even if i'd prefer smth more monochrome #bc we dont have anything more monochrome...#appreciate the move forward with themes and finally having dark options for the site and all. a lot. really #and 'i dont like the way it looks' is obvs just a petty complaint and not as important as addressing genuine issues and needs #...... but i think the dark + charcoal themes are ugly because i hate the yellow text on them. they would be perfect if it wasnt yellow #a theme that is entirely black/greys/white would be perfect and i really hope we get it someday...#but i'll take anything that's dark and doesnt have a ugly accent color

gee it sure would be cool if the 2 pages of food left in my hoard were not meant to be saved for other site features and i could actually just feed. my dragons. with the food.

#could you fucking imagine #im just hear to complain about feeding my damn lair again LOL #i at least got my coli trainer fed and i think i've got some fodder in my den so i can grind some shit out a while #but like... i dont wanna. is the thing.#especially now that i can have dark mode everywhere else. coli hurts... fuuuuuuuuck #i'll figure it out i guess #anyway aside from that i little to say on the UI update matter #like it clearly needs work and tweaks and it's been Getting that. it's obviously a work in progress that is being fine tuned #player feedback is being taken into account and changes are getting implemented #i think everyone who freaked the absolute hell out about it really just needs to calm down touch grass etc #it's nice to have dark mode even if i don't love some of the color choices made for that #luckily for me i actually read and pay attention to news posts and am aware that more themes and adjustments are coming! yay!

it is with a heavy heart i must announce i do think the new breed is kind of cool. it's definitely more in line with what ancients SHOULD be. wish we'd just gotten these instead of one of the many flop breeds bc i still am annoyed that they're pumping these things out lol.

#i may...... keep 1 MAYBE 2... we'll see #not the ones i hatched tho. the colors aren't terrible but the eyes don't match which is unforgiveable #many stupid horrible things about undressable dragons but the fact that you can't hide nonmatching eyes is just such a deal breaker #clashing eyes makes the whole dragon belong in the trash if you can't cover those things up.#that candle tert is incredible tho i hope it gets ported to abbes and/or undertides aka the only other 2 ancients that are really kinda goo #i hate the hatchlings to these new things tho but i can say that about most breeds so. forgiven

#like we already finished up all the elements and even got a really bad nonelement one. we don’t need to stick to this insane schedule #we never needed that release rate to begin with and we really don’t need it now #thorntails came out just a few months ago. why would we need new breed unless it’s a modern #which like.. the chance of that isn’t zero but it’s certainly not high…#i’ve not been on fr much lately due to the fact that i’m mad about how impossible keeping my lair fed has become #but i’m still annoyed lol. i hope they’re teasing literally anything besides a new ancient #even if it’s something idc about like some ppl are wondering if it’s somehow beastclan related and idgaf about those #i’d still take that over ancient…

Spent my sick day slowly drawing and designing Hyn, Rowan, and their cats. They both work with The Eclipse Court as consultants of Life and Death(working or proper titles, I only have half a brain right now), Hyn is a speaker for Death as well as a apothecary while Rowan is conduit of life(wizard of sorts). Their familiars are Wrath(Hyn’s “cat”) and Maple(Rowan’s cat), was going to add more but my other half of my brain has left, apologies.
