How to Fix Default Skins:
I was looking around for a guide like this before I fixed the Silky Smooth skin (after the October 2020 patch broke it) and I could not find one. So I figured I would make my own!
Needed:
Original Skin from before update
Sims 4 Studio
Steps:
1) Open Sims 4 Studio
2) Go to My Projects
3) Select your skin. It should open into a new window.
4) On the new window, make sure you select data. Click on the first “RLE 2” part.
5) Select the text next to “Type.” Right now, it is “3453CF95.” Change it to “2BC04EDF”
6) Do this for the remaining "RLE” parts, then save the file. Do this for all the packages of the default skin, then they should work in your game.
I fixed the Silky Smooth Skin!
Being the picky person I am I absolutely had to stick with the Silky Smooth skin by Gerbitshi. Here’s the link to the original page.
