- she zones out a lot (it's kinda funny and endearing though because she'll have a little smile)

- she make the funniest faces in existence of funny faces honestly it's so easy for her to make me laugh

- she's accidentally hilarious

- when I ask her if she's guilty of something she has a really sheepish face followed with big defensiveness

- she is unable to hide her emotions and is very upset about it

- she keeps up with the blog and the INTJ Sister series ("Am I really like that??" Lol)

- we'll get mad at each other and be ok literally a minute later

- we have the entire script for Narnia memorized and used to recite it every night

- impromptu action spy movie created and enacted in the basement with really cool background music

I've noticed that from a really young age that I have had some pretty insane nightmares. I don't know how I thought up these ideas but I'll share one of the ones that stands out.

So everything on earth is normal except that the moon is alive and is murderous. It can "see" and sense if people are alive. I remember being on a school bus in the middle of the night. Everyone on the bus is dead except me and the driver. I'm only alive because I'm playing dead. In my house, various relatives are strewn about on the ground and only a few of us are left trying to kill the evil moon.

My sister has forever been the stronger one between us. She's the one I went to when I small and crying from nightmares. She would let me sleep next to her and when I would explain my bad dream, she would spin it into a hilarious story to make me laugh

If I was being pushed around by a playground bully, she would never stand for it and tower over them as Big Sister™. She's extremely protective and DoES nOt StAND for anyone being mean to me

Arright. So I've got a sister. And she's about as amazing as they come. Wait no, she's better. Whenever I read descriptions about INTJs though, I feel like they don't encompass quite everything. But I mean can anything really describe the entirety of a person?

What I mean to say is that despite the reputation of being cool, collected and sharp as a whip, they can have such a soft side that's completely unexpected.

So I've always been getting remarks from my family, family friends and even people I've met only once or twice. I've heard that I'm "very prim and proper" in terms of how I sit, talk or walk. And I just...

Because I don't feel that way AT ALL. I feel very nervous and self-conscious especially around new people. I think I focus so much on trying to act normal when I'm awkward that it comes off as rigid and very careful.

I find myself to be awkward most of the time in most situations involving strangers. Huh? What’s that? You want examples? *rolls out list of grievances*

1. That other day this really nice person held the door for me and I meant to say thank you, I really did. I think I just attempted eye contact, failed, and tripped while scurrying away

2. To the lady working at Timmy’s: I promise I’m not crazy even though I was smiling too hard and stumbling through my order (IT WAS AN AWKWARD DAY OK)

3. There was a classmate that introduced herself to me and I was too nervous to remember that I should tell her my name too and so we just kinda sat there in silence. For the whole semester.

4. To all the people that saw me flinch at things:

A. That bird was trying to attack me

B. Sliding doors hate me and try to close when I’m going through

INFJs are often described as a type that is future-oriented. A big part of that for me is making decisions about habits and improving myself with the sole motivation of being a better example for my children. Now, I’m too young and nowhere near ready to have children, but I’ve always made decisions with them (?) in mind. For example: 1. The language I use (I want the people I care about to hear nice things and influence them positively) 2. My health habits (how will you teach them to eat properly if you don’t?) 3. My thoughts (even negative thoughts can be translated into actions and kids are so quick to pick up on things)

Recently I’ve come to realize that sometimes people talking to themselves make them seem a little bit crazy to other people.

I did not know this.

I’m a regular at talking to myself and inanimate objects when I’m alone.

Yknow stuff like “stop it, you!” to something that keeps falling or just making up and enacting random scenarios for fun

…and I realize that I do this while staring into nothing, completely absorbed and concentrated in my scenario.

Ladies and gentlemen, I now pose a very important question that makes me doubt the very meaning of my existence.

I have a habit of mentally reprimanding myself if I have a “bad thought” Example: *makes a mental judgement about someone* NO. BAD. *mental smack*

So when I have different levels of comfort with different people, I become an awkward hybrid of everything. Example: With best friend being Goofball (super comfortable) when BAM a cynical friend appears and Witty-Me makes an appearance and WHABOOM an aquaintance shows up and here comes Polite-Me and POW KNOCKOUT a stranger you’ve never met before joins the group

Me: I tend to everything slowly and at my own pace, whether it be eating or tidying. If there’s no reason for me to hurry, I won’t. I don’t really think of it as wasting time because even if I’m working, I’m enjoying myself. I could be dancing around while putting away dishes or daydreaming while I’m folding laundry. I think it’s because I want to enjoy myself in the moment, in every moment I can.
