So cool to read a book with an unlikeable narrator who still deeply resonates with you, and then you look up reviews of the book and it's just people who hate the narrator and repeat multiple times how no normal, tolerable person would think like that or act like that, there's nothing valuable in their stories at all, and god don't we all hate people who are like that. And you're like. Awesome. This was fun. What a nice experience.

I am once again reading a book with a deeply relatable narrator who every reviewer seems to hate. Begging them to try empathy.
