little library book finds

10.10.2021 // yesterday i had a sudden motivational boost to redocorate my room for the new semester. i reorganised my bookshelf and threw/ gave away everything i don't need anymore. and today i picked some small flowers and put them in these fancy flasks.

Also completely unrelated but this photo has zero filters/edits, the sunlight @ that moment was esp incredible

19:55 — courage, dear heart is something i remind myself of every day. i may seem like i have all my shit under control, but it’s usually the opposite. it takes courage to be brave and repress the demons that pester the mind. mental illness is invisible, not impossible.

new desk set-up feat. a few of my grandmother’s old art books, my pens in the paint-splattered jar that used to hold her brushes, my current tbr pile, the origami squirrel my partner made me that i can’t part with, the little jewelry dish one of my sisters made me for christmas

just a cozy -17 degrees today! feeling an intense urge to redecorate my desk or clear it entirely - a miniature version, if u will, of moving furniture around in order to claim a bit of extra energy for that last home stretch before the holidays

19072020 when everything goes wrong - pancakes Sunday is always there to save the day 🥞 how are you guys doing today? my weekend was extremely unproductive, but I haven’t felt this peaceful in forever. I feel like finally slowing down and getting in peace with my mind, which is something I’ve been struggling with for a loooong time. my sleeping schedule is getting better and better, my meditations are becoming more mindful and I feel like that first inhale when opening a window after a huge and gloomy storm. I hope y’all are having a great Sunday 🍂✨
