Upholding the law does not make it any different. The end results of both are the same. Domination is used as a means to achieve a desirable situation, and a weaker party is conquered by something stronger.
I did not enter this discussion to point fingers at heroes. I was simply noting that they are no different from the type of people you were shaming.
"It is within a personâs right to do as they wish with their abilities, regardless of how it affects others."
Heroes are not doing as they wish with their abilities. Their entire goal behind their actions is to protect others while stopping criminals. You are taking their efforts out of context and making them sound like depraved and insane murderers.
The behavior you talk about, and believe in, is the behavior that is considered socially unacceptable and immoral. The lack of consideration for other human beings and even the subtle undertones of calling them lesser than human because they are weaker than you is disgusting.
Heroes protect people. They are there to make sure people are safe. You and your compatriots are the ones that hurt them for nothing more than sport or entertainment.
