the take down

Fuck, he can’t believe that worked. Tucker drops hard, and scrambles up. He does a quick check of his surroundings, edging a little to the side, cause he does not want that cliff behind him right now. 

And this is still one of the worst ideas he’s had in a while. He eyes the giant, taking a little half step back, cause he doesn’t quite trust that he’s not gonna get a knife or a bullet in the face. But… he did say he would… fuck…

His hand moves to his hip casually as he drops to one knee, trying not to make it obvious how he’s reaching for his sword. 

“So uh… what d’you want me to do while I’m down here, big guy?”

{    He can’t believe he did it. Hands raised to rest on his      hips, watching as the smaller man went to one knee.      Not quite ideal, but it’ll still work. He takes a small step      back, eyeing Tucker.    }

That’s a better reaction than what Tucker had expected honestly. The guy hasn’t snapped him in half, or just bolted for the cliff. But uh… yeah, now he’s kinda put himself in a corner here. 

Fuck it. 

“I mean, yeah, if that means you’re not gonna murder me.”  

{    That chuckle continues, sounding more and more wolfish      by the second. But, remarkably, he stops. Turns his head      again to look at his captive, smirking behind gold glass.    }

[alright. no murder.]

{    Fingers loosen, the aqua soldier slipping off the monstrosity’s      shoulders and collapsing hard to the ground. Ivory boots      shift, turn to step squarely in front of the man. Stares down      at him, domed helmet expressionless.    }
