“Shit dude.” Tucker winces. “All those missions did a fucking number on you. It’s still kinda hot though. I mean, that’s not the hottest one, but y'know.”

“What would you expect?” Locus hasn’t lived in a world where everyone doesn’t have copious scarring for a long time. 

“Ooooh shit, you gotta show me some of those.”

If anyone was close by they’d be able to hear Wash sigh loudly.

Hah. How things had changed since their last meeting, the blue soldier no longer showing quite the same ferocity or gusto he had when stabbing Maine through the chest. It was almost amusing, but despite how much Maine might have wanted to let the guy know exactly how he felt about their previous exchange, this wasn’t even entirely about that.

The low growl expresses pretty clearly that he has no intention of letting go, only accentuated by him crowding closer in an attempt to usher Tucker backwards towards the wall. He knows this isn’t a fair fight: him in full armour, helmet included, and his poor - pah - victim completely and woefully underprepared for the encounter. Then again, that was kinda the point of doing this here and now.

He clings to his father, lets the contact calm him down.
