Unfortunately as of now I don't exactly have motivation or inspiration to pull out a bunch of starters for everyone, but if you have an idea in mind I'd love to create a plot with you!! ((I'd love you more if you'd offer to write the starter but it's alright i understand how life gets busy n all that))

Indoraptor

A dark black hide rose and fell slowly from where it laid limp and surrounded by cold metal bars. It’s body was covered in dark metallic scales that lined it in a coat of armor with a bright yellow stripe that ran proudly down its side, ridges of thin spines sprouted from between the scales as they cascaded down its back. It’s long whip like tail stretched out from the base of its spine and was thrown carelessly out against the bars.

Long taloned limbs were sprawled out against the cage floor, light glistened off the long claws that stood at the end of each of its boney digits. On its hind paws were impressively huge crescent mooned claws meant to rip apart flesh from bone. The toe on its left paw twitched very slowly every few minutes, that and the rising of its lungs were the only sign that this creature was still alive.

It’s body was brutalized and looked like it was a miracle alone that it was somehow still functioning. While the creature may have seemed a hair away from death on the outside, inside its brain was rapid firing impulses as it tried to desperately take in all the information around it.

The dinosaur had groggily gained consciousness an hour or so ago but it had instead chosen to keep its body still and its eyes shut, deciding to understand where it was while still keeping up the facade of being asleep. The foul smell of metal and the cold feeling against its body had immediately been understood as a cage. However the cage rocked slightly, the bottom floor bounced up and down as it was being transported somewhere. There was a lingering smell of humans coming from where it was but it was a dry scent so it was currently alone. However it could make out the fresh odor of humans coming from behind the walls of whatever room it was in, they were close but not anywhere it could reach them from.

But despite its location what had surprised it the most upon waking up, was the tight pressure on its rip cage and upper spine. Something was surrounding its body tightly, almost as if there was a second layer of skin that hugged its frame there, and there only. Ribs burned with every inhale and exhale so its breathing was kept to a shallow controlled rate. All of its limbs felt sore and tired, enough so where it hesitated upon their ability to hold its body weight upright.

Something slid open and its thoughts where brought to a stand still. Human odor filled the room once again, there was only one set of footsteps though. The door did not slide closed again, the creature stored that in the back of its mind should the opportunity to escape present itself. The footsteps echoed around its cage walls before stopping by its massive head, an interestingly bold action. The human’s voice broke through the silence that had engulfed the room earlier. Human words flooded into its ears, however they were none the dinosaur had heard before. Sounds such as “island”, “sanctuary”, and “release” echoed around its head. None of them held any meaning to it but it had been able to grip onto them.
