Sasuke and Sakura have been dating for the last five years, ever since they both completed the Chunin Exams at age 14.  While initially shocking to their friends, the two were quite adamant about seeing each other. While their relationship was mostly serious, there were some lighthearted moments, as well as a lot of banter.

Through many trials and tribulations, the two managed to remain strongly linked to each other, and became the first to be engaged within their peer group. To many, the news was much overdue…however, Sasuke was not very excited to tell his parents…

Things are very volatile in the Uchiha clan, and news of their engagement could not come at a worse time.
