Today, I wanted to share some of my ff7 OCs! All four of them are friends. In more detail:
Aura and Karma have known each other a long time via their friend group (who mostly perished during Platefall)
Aura works with Mengyao and Xavier and becomes fast friends with them. Aura and Xavier are materia specialists, while Mengyao specializes in both Materia and Machinery
Xavier and Mengyao are mlm-wlw solidarity and BEST friends
Karma and Xavier has mutual crushes, but Karma has some deep trauma from the tragedy in his life.
Karma is a SOLDIER, and during the course of ff7 he gets promoted from second to first to fill the gap left by the previous firsts.
Aura is Rufus Shinra's romantic partner. He plucked both them and Mengyao and Xavier out from wherever they were working and put them in a special, small lab as a sort of "S Team" to do work he wants done that he feels suits Aura.

Karma is a SOLDIER. He has always been closed off emotionally. In some ways he's quite tsundere, but not in an exaggerated way. He's reluctant to say no to his crush (previously someone in the shared friend group with Aura, now Karma), and that's about his biggest tell. He is difficult because he wants to be, believing he does not deserve friends or love.
Aura is a bit awkward and shy (despite their expression in this old ref lol), often unsure of themself and rather humble/modest. They have ptsd and survivor's guilt from Platefall. At the start of ff7 plot, a Turk is assigned to protect them, but eventually the Turks are all mobilized and Karma is assigned as their bodyguard.
Mengyao is Wutaian, and an absolute sweetheart. She is kind and compassionate at heart, and very intelligent. She loves fashion, make-up, and jewelry. She is quiet and shy until she's comfortable with you, at which point she gets so earnestly excited about your happiness that it's almost embarrassing. She can stand up for herself when it's necessary, but she also will often to choose to remain quiet. She takes care of her Wutaian parents, and worries about them constantly.
Xavier is a cunning, sly fox type character, but he loves his friends and will do anything for them including less than legal stuff. He comes from a rich background so he knows how to behave but often chooses not to. He likes to tease.
