i never understood why people whine sop much about a game not being in the highest of all graphics. iâve never played ANYTHING in 1080p because my pc is shitty, yet i enjoy the game the same. Guys (or gals), its not about how realistic it LOOKS its about how good it PLAYS.Â
Itâs not an issue of realism. Here is Dark Souls at 720p

Lower resolutions can obscure detail, whether the game is aiming for realism with its visuals or not. Also, unless you own a CRT, itâs always ideal for a game to be running at the native resolution of your display. And for most people that happens to be 1080p.
As for âits not about how realistic it LOOKS its about how good it PLAYSâ, framerate closely ties into how well a game plays. 60fps is literally twice as responsive as 30fps.
This is really important to me.

TIME LAPSE MAP OF EVERY NUCLEAR EXPLOSION EVER ON EARTH Japanese artist Isao Hashimoto has created a beautiful, undeniably scary time-lapse map of the 2053 nuclear explosions which have taken place between 1945 and 1998, beginning with the Manhattan Projectâs âTrinityâ test near Los Alamos and concluding with Pakistanâs nuclear tests in May of 1998. This leaves out North Koreaâs two alleged nuclear tests in this past decade (the legitimacy of both of which is not 100% clear).
Each nation gets a blip and a flashing dot on the map whenever they detonate a nuclear weapon, with a running tally kept on the top and bottom bars of the screen. Hashimoto, who began the project in 2003, says that he created it with the goal of showingâthe fear and folly of nuclear weapons.â It starts really slow â if you want to see real action, skip ahead to 1962 or so â but the buildup becomes overwhelming.
