The amout of hate in alterhuman community towards zoophiles is INSANE. If y'all actually cared for well-being of animals and us you would educate yourself. I want to talk about my expeirence as an anti-abuse zoophile. Please read to the end.

When I first joined alterhuman community on tiktok/youtube I got told that "zoophilia is abuse and all zoos deserve to die". I stupidly believed it at first even if it felt wrong.

With time I started to learn more about zoophilia. I still kept pretending to be anti because I was afraid of my own community hating on me. I was scared that after all these years I spend on looking for beings like me would be gone. I was all my life bullied, abused and alone. I didn't want the story to repeat itself.

Over a year ago I found a few beings that were anti hate on zoos. I talked to them a little and I stopped pretending I dislike zoos. I was still scared AF that by supporting zoos I would get left alone. Some beings did left me, some didn't. It was a very big step for me.

A few months ago I started exploring my identity more. Not only alterhuman but also plural, sexual and gender. During that time I found out many things about myself. I started looking more into paraphilias because it turned out I had a few (for example fictophilia or plushophilia). I still haven't even thought about being a zoo because of constant fear.

3 months ago I got into therapy because of depression. During that time my therapist helped me remember more things from my life to help with my trauma and dissociation.

Month ago I looked at my lost a few years ago cats pictures. It brought some memories. Our relation was platonic but I realised that deep in my heart I was attracted to it.

It was very hard to accept it at first. I was very scared and felt alone. I needed some time to think about it.

I started to look for a community with other zoos. Unfortunately most communities were pro-contact. I also tried to look at alterhuman communities supporting "big 3" but their statements were like "oh you can be a zoo but you have to hate yourself, find yourself disgusting and want to kys". This sounds like they are really anti-recovery.

This continued until I found anti-abuse paraphilia flag and anti-abuse zoophilia flag. I started to find beings that are friendly or are anti-abuse paraphiles. I was very excited, I literally cried from happiness.

If I didn't find that community I would probably still live in stress. I would probably end up in community supporting pro-c zoos from desperation (I was thinking about it tbh). Maybe I would even turn into a pro-c myself. So making safe spaces for even weird beings saves lives. It is important and I hope more beings could understand that.

Conclusions:

Zoophiles can be anti-abuse. We all should make more spaces welcoming them. It will not only help them but also animals that could be victims of potential bestiality. We aren't as bad as media tell you.
