Headcanon that Edward Kenway is really good at picking up languages. Heâs not really fluent in any except English and whatever the main languages of his favorite people are, but really helps with a pirate crew who probably has people that donât know English.
However, you would never know this because his accent is so thick that heâs absolute unintelligible when heâs speaking anything other than English. He can understand basically anyone just fine but the moment he opens his mouth the entire crew turns to Adewale to translate.
My family watches Feet of Flames once every couple of months and yet I still cannot remember the story.
