Impossibly poetic

This is my other account that will be completely separate from my main account.

I'm dyslexic and I have always struggled with reading and writing; especially reading and finding symbolism in poetry. Even through I can read poems, I can write them sometimes.

Some of these poems are about my family members, mostly my step mother. We have a difficult relationship but over the past year we have been getting along a little better (mostly by avoiding subjects that will cause problems). A few poems are about my boyfriends (there are two of them).

At the end of each poem I put the date or as close to the date as I can. I had them in my note app and the only date it shows is when the last edit happened so I'm not even sure if all of dates are right.

I wanted to post these here as a sort of record of my work, I will eventually save all of them to s Google doc or something (only a few aren't already saved somewhere online)

And your head resting

How can I not fall in love?

As it has for all of time

See it rise and set

We look out past it

Because we know tomorrow

It will still be there

But will you be there?

Will you see the sun again?

Or is this your last?

for they're blue like water

I want to be in my bed

Stare at the ceiling

And giggle

That feeling when

You said you liked me

The endless high

Impossible to cry

Life feels bland

That shear bliss

Is all I want

I'm happy but I'm not

Push me, punch me,

yell at me that you hate me,

just don't say you never want to see me again,

And end with:

I love you.

You're mad,

and I get it,

you deserve to be mad,

I should have told you sooner,

I should have fucking told you.

It's like staking one pyramid on another,

so perfect for a moment,

but the wind can't be held forever.

And when I released it,

it fell with a shake,

and if rattled the world.

Perfection before disaster,

but was a perfect moment worth it all?

I couldn't tell you

But I can tell you this:

I love you

Nothing changes that.

(the other two poems in this collection were written before and after a break up and were directed at the other person in the relationship. This one is from a month later. Though it can be read as directed to the same person, it was not meant to be. The first stanza is something I said to my friend when I said that the worst option didn't happen and they asked what the worst thing would be. I said "if you pushed me and yelled you hate me and that you never want to see me again and then stormed out". The second stanza is about a message they sent in a group with me in it where they said that they have no right to be mad that I didn't tell them something. And the third is about knowing that I was in this bubble where my relationship was fine and my friend don't know something. From the moment that relationship started, I knew that there was a time limit on how long I could lie to this friend. It was a moment of perfection and telling them was the wind that knocked it over. This is the third and final poem in this collection)

Well now I know.

You said you loved me,

and you say you still do.

I said it was ok and I said I was fine.

I held in my tears till I could be alone

and all I have is this broken clip to pull back my hair.

You said you were broken

but I'm fucked up too,

I can't let you go,

Not after years of dreaming a dream that came true

If I could see the future

If I could read your mind

I'd know what to say,

I'd know what you need

If I knew I could fix this,

Or maybe make it better

But if I read your mind,

And I saw the worst,

Would it make me cry?

Would you even care why?

Or would I smile,

Knowing no doubt?

And if I knew what was to you,

Would I hold you tighter,

Knowing that soon will be the last?

Would I let you go,

Giving into the inevitable?

Or might I smile,

With our fear that you will go?

Time does not stop

Time will not stop

Your savings will go

Leaving you with only your sorrow

time will not stop

for saving that sounded easy

when it seemed so clear

Now it's 6:48

You have to move forward

time will not stop

for the depts piled high

and when the well may run dry

and it's 7:15

the bills start to rise

time will not stop

and when the weight starts to show

for when what was spent, a seed meant to be sow

because it's 8:30

and the sun has gone down

time will not stop

not even at one

when there is no time left for fun

its 5 in the morning

it felt like the blink of an eye

the alarm is going off just an arms length away

but you cant reach it

You can no longer move on

time, didn't stop

but it stopped you

As if the vortex open behind her

Purple, red, then orange

Y won't you see me

My X would be better then my nothing

You are > than a human

But < than a god
