               ❝ are you mad at me, lee? ❞ he pressed, his words accompanied by another irritatingly sharp jab to the ribs. he'd spent nearly half an hour poking holes through lee's shirt with one singular clawed finger, and it was becoming quite clear that he was beginning to hit a nerve. boredom? absolutely.

               a tattooed hand lifted hesitantly to flick on the light, finally stepping over the threshold and again allowing his eyes to adjust to the sudden intrusion of illumination. closing the door, he kicked off his shoes and strolled through the kitchen, pausing when panicked breaths grew louder. cue a slow blink accompanied by a quick tilt of his head towards a shady corner, finding none other than his precious girlfriend, knees tight to her chest and wielding a knife. ❝ oh my god ── ba ── ❞

               the laugh that slipped past his lips couldn't have come at a worse time. pearly whites clamped down on his lower lip, hoping he could at least attempt to keep his laughter at bay. ❝ babe . . . ❞ he began, shaking his head. ❝ what the fuck are you doing? ar ── are you good? ❞ he could hardly speak through the laughter that forced its way out, and as each second passed, he was gradually folding over, fingers spread across the tightened muscles of his chest. fuck, he could barely catch a breath.
