the way that fearne patiently waited to ask a question no one else would ask imogen like fearne just knows imogen in this complex insanely intuitive way like are you sure it wasn’t intentional? and fearne is Watching and imogen is just. knowing and processing exactly what fearne so softly asks. ditzy~ fearne suddenly so focused on imogen and her feelings and her thoughts and doubts and nonconfrontational fearne actually needs to ask imogen, are you okay? And the stilted intimacy of imogen buckling from being seen like that by someone so nurturing as fearne and she backs away from the window and fearne just watches and listens and lets her, nodding that it doesn’t matter, whatever darkness imogen is pinning to herself, whatever blame, fearne just Needs to be there with her, silently affirming that it wouldn’t change how fearne feels about her. And they’re both so locked in not being truly truly vulnerable about how they feel and how heavy it’s getting, they can’t - people they love need them to not stop and think about how they’re scared, but then these moments of two likewise comets get a little too close and the proximity pulls them and they. see eachother. and they quickly look away.
