I feel like you'd probably be better off just being specific in what aspects you're specifically interested in seeing changed because I have not looked at the submission form in a long time and cannot really recall what is and is not on there.

As for "errors in communication with patrons" you mean me fucking off for months at a time?

I feel like all of this got addressed personally and professionally across every platform where people have a direct line to me and it was dealt with. So to me this is reading like a "tell us you feel bad and are sorry" when I put my whole YuuriVoiceussy into addressing it already.

I think the solution for me will be just taking one commission at a time when I have no other pending work, and make the turnaround times quick as fuck. Like run it from the point of accepting it to shipping it all in one sitting. That way there's no room for bullshit on my end.

But the submission forms have worked just fine up until this point, I don't think adding anything would necessarily help because it's already quite involved. Idk. It gets the info I need to effectively put together what I need, and anything I'm missing gets handled in direct correspondence.

When I wrote errors in communication, that was not meant to be directed on your part. I was referring to my own personal experience when I was considering filling out a submission. I was moreso wondering if there were questions about the submission details and/or vague submissions filled in that lead to any confusion. Like you mentioned you don’t want any bullshit, and I can recall at the time I was failing to find a way to avoid the bullshit. I was trying to check if there were people who were stuck in the same boat as me. I wanted to find a way to elaborate on that in the question but I know no one likes the count-the-paragraphs game. Clearly “errors in communication” was the most inaccurate term I could’ve used in this and I’m so sorry.

Nothing from this question was meant to be targeted towards you and the last thing I anticipated from this response was a “I’m sorry” from you. If anything, I’d be the one apologizing as a patron for my shitty attempts to fill in a submission (which is why I held back from commissioning to avoid something like this happening).

I can tell by the people’s reactions to their commissions that you were not “fucking off” at all and I was not trying to hint to that. I said “distant future” because I acknowledge how your plans are scheduled and how irrelevant reopening Vgen comms would be at a time where you’ve mentioned that you need to get to work soon. You’re right about it being weird timing. It crossed my mind because of the pinned post in your Tumblr, but regardless it should’ve been left unasked. I’m sorry that it was worded as if I was mocking your inactivity. I respect you taking time off especially at troubling times, I wish for nothing but time off for you and your cats.
