edelgard

edelgard, the ambitious queen she is, is double majoring in business and political science. she challenges the infinite number of men that major in both (she probably intimidates them, let’s be real). while her parents own a successful company they wish for her to take over, she also holds a desire to change unjust policy in place. instead of keeping herself awake at night, wondering what she would do, she decided to try out both. she likes it so far!

she’s definitely in the honors program. she hustles hard, she might as well reap the benefits! she gets longer library loan periods, smaller class sizes, more rigorous classes, and a stronger network of advisors. of course she’d take that opportunity!

while edelgard’s schedule is definitely loaded with all of the tough coursework she has, she still makes time for a few clubs. most notable is student government. while, as a freshman, she’s not eligible for an officer’s seat, you better believe she’s gunning for one in the future. other than that, i can see her on the women’s volleyball team (definitely going for the team captain role, and she also plays outside hitter. i am a volleyball nerd, i could go on and on about edelgard on the volleyball team).

i believe that edelgard would be a good roommate. never staying up too late, never being noisy, always keeping her things clean. if she did have a roommate, she would hope they’d do the same. though, she could deal with her roommate coming home late, she absolutely would not tolerate a mess and would probably request a different room if they were messy. she’s probably is a bit awkward with her roommate at first, though would warm up to them eventually. her dorm has a minimalist style of decoration, with lots of marble and gold accents.

the thing that she’d miss most about not being in college is free time. while she was busy in high school, she absolutely loaded herself up in college. thankfully she isn’t expected to get a job for the first year, but just wishes that she had a bit more spare time.

dimitri

let’s get right into it! dimitri is a pre-law student, majoring in criminal justice and minoring in psychology. he wants to do good with his law degree; he is currently wanting to either be a criminal justice lawyer or civil rights lawyer. after seeing the wrongful conviction of so many people after the death of his father, he wants to prevent things like that from ever happening again. his absolute biggest dream, however, is to argue a case in front of the supreme court.

dimitri is also in student government, hoping to get an officer’s seat as well. after seeing all of the interesting things that the student government gets to put on, he was hooked immediately. though, i’d believe that he’s also on the men’s fencing team as well as being in best buddies and a mental health awareness club! he really likes spreading kindness around campus!

for the most part, dimitri is neat and orderly in his dorm. there’s some mess, but nothing intolerable to most. while he is not much of a partier, he frequently gets dragged out to them by his friends (mostly sylvain), so he can occasionally come back late, but he tries to be quiet when he does! while mostly clueless about dorm decoration, he tries really hard to not be like a lot of the guys he has seen; he has a blue theme going on, and has some photos and posters on the walls. though, he’s probably rooming with dedue, so he doesn’t mind anything much.

like i said, dimitri is not a partier. however, his friends drag him out to parties and he usually enjoys himself at them! frat parties are crazy, a bit too much for his taste, so he doesn’t usually stay for long, but he prefers regular house parties if anything.

dedue totally cooks for him. the man feels pity watching dimitri eat top ramen or bland pizza from the food court every night; they’ll rent out the kitchen in their residence hall and cook up something good for once!

claude

claude is getting a dual degree in history and secondary education with a minor in human development/family studies (let me get a hell yea for hdfs students!) he has a dedication to teaching all sides of history, not just the one commonly shown in textbooks. you can pry teacher claude from my cold, dead hands. i FEEL it (can you tell i’m an education major?)

this boy parties like crazy. frat parties, house parties, small dorm parties, hell, anything he can get an invite to. all of his friends are in on it too, and everyone has heard of the famed “golden deer” squad that can pull a party back from the depths of hell. he just likes having fun! though, he’s not heavy on drinking. a few here or there, but he finds its much more fun to watch the drunk idiots than to be one.

he definitely considered being in a fraternity, but decided that the benefits didn’t justify the hefty price tag to join for him. he still weasels his way into many of the parties and events a few fraternities hold because he’s such a charmer.

claude. misses. good. food. he’s tired of the unseasoned, disgusting, and uninspired food that comes with his meal plan. he totally rents out the kitchen space and cooks feasts for the hall, which they’re all thankful for. either that, or he’ll try and visit restaurants that sell almyran food when he has free time.

claude is... an interesting roommate, to say the least. on one hand, the boy gets out so much that his roommate probably won’t see him, but when they do he had the tendency to be a bit loud and messy. not dirty, but messy. he’s still really fun to be around and generally nice, though, so it’s hard for anyone to mind too much.

love notes (edelgard/reader)

you and edelgard had been together for some time, and she confided most everything to you. it was clear that she was having problems in her everyday life, and she never wished to burden you, but you never failed to assure her that you’d always be there to support her. how she found someone as wonderful as you, she did not know. in order to lift her spirits, you decided to craft a loving and sentimental gift for her.

you were out of your dorm at the moment, and edelgard had come into your room to grab something that she left perviously. she remembered leaving it on your windowsill, but couldn’t locate it there. after a bit of searching she found it resting underneath a piece of paper on your desk. she didn’t pay much mind to it at first, instead opting to simply grab what she needed and depart, though the word “hresvelg” at the top  fo the paper caught her eye.

what harm could it do to look? she took the paper and began to read it over, realizing it was sheet music. edelgard wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about reading sheet music, but she could read the lyrics written underneath the notes. she caught herself getting lost within the words; they felt deeply personal and lovingly crafted.

only after she finished with the lyrics did she see the full title of the song: “a girl of hresvelg”. edelgard’s breath caught in her throat. had you written this for her? tears welled in her eyes, touched by the beautiful sentiment. the song… it was touching, to say the very least.

the sound of the door opening behind her startled her a bit, and she turned to see you. “o-oh, (y/n)! i’m sorry to have been snooping. i came to retrieve what i left yesterday, but it was under this song. the word hresvelg caught my eye and i ended up reading it. i hope that you do not mind…” edelgard sighed, looking up to you. you smiled at her, amused with her explanation.

“well, it was supposed to be a present for you, but i suppose you’ll just be receiving it early, then. did you… did you enjoy it?” you asked, hopeful that you had done good in your attempt to give a meaningful gift. based upon her expression, you had, but you wanted the satisfaction of hearing the words come from her mouth.

healing hearts (felix/reader)

the battle was nearing its end; the enemy forces were thinned out, though that also meant you had lost a fair amount of troops as well. it would be foolish to let your guard down now, when victory was within your grasp. you, being one of the few healers left, had to work double time to make up for those that had fallen or withdrawn to take care of those coming off the battlefield.

though you’d deny that you played favorites, you certainly did happen to keep a closer eye on felix than you’d admit. the male enjoyed pushing himself to his limit in order to prove something, though what exactly you did not know. all you did know was that it concerned you deeply. you always cared for him, but since entering a relationship you came to fear for his wellbeing more after learning of his more private thoughts and tendencies.

out of the corner of your eye, you could see him being severely outnumbered. he took care of most of them with ease, though two hits landed on him; one cut from a lance and one particularly nasty fire spell. felix ended up taking care of them, but you knew that he needed healing. no one could walk away from that okay!

felix, being the dutiful soldier he is, went to move on when you caught up to him. “felix! felix, i saw what happened, please allow me to heal you before you move on-”

“i’m fine. it’s merely a scratch, nothing that i can’t handle. there are people that need to be healed more than i,” he replied, cutting you off and attempting to walk again. he shifted, clearly attempting to hide his wounds. you stopped him once again and began to try healing him before he could protest more. he quickly pulled away from your touch, a look of frustration evident on his features. “i said that i’m fine! go and focus on someone that can’t handle themselves. there is a battle to be won, i can’t stand idle when i can fight.”

felix went to walk away, though ended up collapsing onto one knee. “felix! stop your pouting this instant,” you cried, rushing to him before he could stand. you forced him to sit and got a good look at his injuries. goddess, had he not been healed this whole time? his body was covered in injuries, from bruises to cuts and even burns. “felix… you’ve been fighting through this?” you softly asked. he huffed a bit and turned his head away, though grimaced when you placed a hand on his abdomen to begin healing him.  “i care about you, you know! you may be strong, but you aren’t invincible, felix.”

“if i can keep going, why should i stop? the battle is almost won, and here i am, being healed instead of fighting alongside the others. i am simply being a burden.” he insisted, fiddling with the handle on his sword. despite his protests, you could feel the way his body relaxed under your touch.

after a few moments you finished, pleased with your handiwork. “there, that wasn’t so bad, was it? and look, there is still a battle to fight. if you get injured, please seek out a healer. i love you, and if you were lost i couldn’t live with myself.” felix seemed to think about your words for a moment before turning away to get on with the fight.

ferdinand

beauty: ferdinand’s favorite part of you is your hair! short or long, he loves how absolutely perfect it is for you. he loves feeling it, brushing it, running his hands through it, and (trying) to style it. plus, it looks perfect for you; it fits your personality perfectly! that’s what he loves most about it.

fight: ferdinand is easy to get into little, playful arguments or disagreements with because he the type to stand up for his beliefs. while large arguments are infrequent, they do open up his mind for for deeper thinking as to why the argument started to begin with. he easily forgives and forgets, because in the end all he really wants is the both of you to be happy.

kiss: ferdinand perhaps has an unfounded sense of confidence in his kissing ability; while he isn’t the worst kisser in the world, he is a bit clumsy! nothing you can’t get past, but it is a bit humorous. you first kiss with him, however, is sweet and giddy, albeit cut short by guards walking by. ferdinand makes sure to make up for that later!

value: ferdiand values his relationship with you very much. he knows that he wants to live his life with you, so he places it up there with winning the war. he’s a sweet and simple man; having someone to rule over his house with him is a top priority, and you seem like the perfect candidate to do so, so he won’t let go of you easily!

sylvain

beauty: while sylvain’s typical pick up line is something like “is there any part of you that wasn’t fashioned by angels?”, in your case he actually means it. every part of you is perfect to him, but if someone forced him to pick it would be your lips. they’re so soft and lovely, and the way they look when you smile is intoxicating.

fight: sylvain tries his best to let the little things roll off his back, though some things end up sticking. eventually, he’ll just explode with all of his problems. he’s a pretty emotional arguer, so tears are usually involved. it takes a good cry and lots of support before you end up talking it out because he’s so emotionally charged, but he knows how lucky he is to have someone walk through his hardships with him.

kiss: sylvain, being such a player, has certainly had his fair share of kissing experience. once he’s honed in on what his partner likes, he delivers it expertly, and you’re no exception to this. your first kiss felt like heaven! even sylvain, the pessimist he is when it comes to long term relationships, felt sparks fly in that moment.

the crown prince of faerghus had been your friend for years, and your time at the officer’s academy had only helped to strengthen your bond. though, something had been plaguing your relationship as of recent. a pesky, intolerable, absolutely abhorrent thing.

a crush.

one may have said it was only inevitable that you grew feelings for the prince. he was charming, kind, and thoughtful, and the amount of time you spent together only helped to deepen your feelings for the blond. the thought of having such feelings for you long time friend and heir to the throne had kept you up at night, consumed your thoughts during lunch, and made your friends giggle at you for being so hopelessly in love.

“you should just tell him! what’s the worst that could happen?”

“yeah! you guys are friends, and he spends so much time around you. he probably likes you back.”

all of their words had you convinced. they were right. he did spend a lot of time around you, plus he was always so kind. maybe it was a naive view, but you didn’t know that many school aged boys that were this sweet just for the fun of it; they usually wanted something, or felt some way that they wished to have returned, right?

all of the little things seemed so clear. the way he flushed when you laughed at his joke or complimented him, the way he always requested to hang out with you, it had to mean something, right? through this line of thinking you worked up the courage to confess. you’d never admit the multitude of times you practiced you confession in the mirror.

on a bright day, you saw the blond strolling toward the cafeteria. this was your chance. you picked up your pace to catch up to him. “dimitri! hold on for a moment,” you called out. the boy paused, a kind smile on his features.

“ah, (y/n)! how is your day?” he asked as he watched you catch up to him. “was there something you needed? or were you just seeking out company?”

“oh, um... i did actually have something to... say. i wanted to... confess something to you.” all of the times practicing in the mirror were washed away as you became a flustered mess. dimitri seemed puzzled, likely picturing a confessional type scenario. as usual he was willing to listen, nodding to encourage you to go on. “well, i, um... i like you, dimitri!”

his cheeks flushed, eyes widening a bit at the announcement. “w-well, i would surely hope you, i have been your friend for years.”

“no, not like that! i have feelings for you dimitri! more than a friend... you know?” you were scolding yourself in your head. smooth. you certainly should’ve asked sylvain for help, even if it would’ve brought teasing along with it.

for a moment, you were hopeful. the tender way he said your name was promising, only for it to be followed with “i’m sorry, i’m afraid that i don’t feel the same way as you...” it felt as if your heart shattered in your chest. it hurt to be turned down by him, knowing that things wouldn’t be the same between the two of you after.

“o-oh. i see. well, i suppose i should be off then.”

“please don’t go, i still wish to be friends with you. we’ve known each other for so long-”

beauty: edelgard has a draw toward your eyes. she finds such strength when she looks into them. they offer comfort, strength, warmth, and peace to her. if she feels stressed, all she needs to do is look into your eyes and feel reassured that everything is alright. so, for more sappy reasons than physical, she finds your eyes to be the pest part about you.

comfort: while not the best at handling emotions, edelgard does in fact try very hard to comfort you. her main plan of attack is to try and talk it out first; what’s wrong? why did it make you feel like that? how do you want to handle it? do you want her to help? thinking like that usually makes her feel better. though, if you’re not in the mood for that, she’ll just hold you tight and sing to you softly.

love confession: edelgard stews on her feelings for a long time; you fluster her so much that her feelings are probably obvious anyway, but she wants to make sure to tell you outright instead of leaving it for speculation. when she does it, it’s well planned out. she does it in a secluded area and just comes right out and says it, followed up by a quick kiss.

on cloud nine: even if she tries to keep up an emotional barrier it is clear to others when edelgard is in love. she gets much more determined, seeing as she wants to finish the fight for liberation from the church so that the two of you can live happily. it is easy to tell when she’s thinking of you because she can get lost in her thoughts, blushing when she’s snapped out of it by someone else. 

support: edelgard knows the importance of goals. she is absolutely a goal oriented person, so of course she’d help you achieve yours! there is nothing more she wants than to see you thrive. any time and resources she can devote to helping you, she absolutely does.

bernadetta

beauty: without a doubt, bernadetta loves your hands. this may seem odd, but hear me out. your hands are so soft and warm, and they’re always there to comfort her. she loves the way you hold her cheeks when you’re feeling playful, or how you hold her hands when she needs comfort. by connection, she loves your arms as well because of how strong they feel when they wrap around her.

comfort: bernadetta is usually the one in need of comfort, if she’s being honest. though, when you need it, she’s there! she either comforts you through supportive words and cheering you on, or curling up with you and just laying together with gentle words to lift your mood. you comfort her so much, so she wants to make sure she’s there for you too!

love confession: being the flustered, easily startled girl she is, bernadetta found it very difficult to confess her love for you. in fact, she probably didn’t even mean to confess when she did. bernadetta would definitely blurt it out on accident when she’s flustered, and immediately try to retreat. when you got her out of her room, you’d tell her you return the feelings.

on cloud nine: bernadetta becomes attached to your hip when you’re in love. she just finds so much comfort by you! you’re one of the only people that gives her as much comfort as the confines of her room. she certainly sticks by your side, so it’s clear to everyone that she’s infatuated with you. you’re just so kind to her, she wants to return the favor by keeping by your side.
