Autorâs note: So yeahh.. I once again am obsessed with Wednesday, especially this boy. So I could not not write something about him. Since i base all my fics on me, i made the reader have ADHD like me. I hope you donât mind. Anyway, enjoy! Also my apologies for not making this gender neutral, I had forgotten about it during writing this fic. But the gender is only implied, not specifically stated.
You sat at your desk, studying while listening to music. Your foot was tapping along to the beat as the melody blasted through your headphones. It helped you focus on the tedious task of writing an essay about some boring plant. That was till your favorite song came on. You couldnât help yourself but dance along to it. You jumped up from your chair, wildly swinging your arms and bouncing around the room. Sitting still had caused a lot of pent up energy to be stuck in your body, making its way through your veins like a string of electricity. As you moved your body along the music, you felt the overload of energy decrease. You danced till you finally deemed yourself calm enough to sit still again, or as still as possible. You had to switch positions every few minutes, bouncing your leg and fiddling with some stupid object in your hand as your wrote down the information. Â
The words were flowing from your pen. Every once in a while you browsed through the pages of the book, looking up new information that you could use in your essay. You were engulfed in your own work bubble, not aware of your surroundings. This caused you to miss the knock on your door. The intruder sighed at the sight of your studying figure , walking further into the room until they stood next to your desk. You only noticed their presence when your headphones were abruptly taken from your head. This made you jump up, nearly hitting the person square in the face. âWhat the hell, Enidâ, you exclaimed in an annoyed tone, slowly lowering your arms. She watched you with wide eyes, holding her hands up in surrender. âSorryâ, she gave you an apologetic look. âWhat do you want?â, you asked her in a monotone voice, not pleased being interrupted while you finally were able to concentrate on something. She raised her eyebrow, questioning if you were really asking her such a thing. In response, you lightly shook your head while scrunching your eyebrows together in confusion. âItâs Fridayâ, she exclaimed, as if it were obvious. But this statement didnât gave you any more information. âIâm aware, yesâ, you still held the same confused expression on your face, not getting where she was going with this conversation. âYouâre not supposed to study on a Friday. Letâs party, have some funâ. Her exciting energy was contagious, lighting your sour mood in an instance. âTemping, but I decline your offerâ, you gave her a small smile, while taking your headphones back from her hand that was still holding onto them. You were about to put them on your head again, walking back towards your desk as she stopped you in your tracks. âOh come on, (y/n). Please come hang out with usâ, she begged, putting on her best puppy eyes. âI canâtâ. âHow so?â Enid wasnât going to give up so easily. This was going to be a long night. You sighed. âBecause of this stupid essay. I need to get a head start on it otherwise I wonât be able to finish it in timeâ. She scoffed at your statement. âOf course, you will. You are one of the smartest person I know.â You chuckled: âI didnât state that I wasnât smart. Itâs just that writing this essay is such a soul-destroying task that my ADHD-brain will just procrastinate it until I only have a few hours left until the deadline.â The blond girl nodded in understanding, but wasnât giving up. âIâll help you finish it.. Just come hang out with us for nowâ. You let out another sigh, pondering over the offer. It was tempting, very tempting. Any activity that wasnât writing that stupid essay sounded good to you at the moment.Â
âWeâre all going to hang out in Xavierâs dorm, drinking booze...â Enid wiggled her eyebrows at you, knowing that you wouldnât want to miss out on hanging around Xavier. You regretted telling her the truth about your silly crush on the so called tortured artist. But in all honesty, she had infiltrated your life. If she wasnât so curious, watching your every move as you were around him, your crush wouldâve still been a secret. Ever since she found out that information, she had been teasing you. As for the current situation, she used it to persuade you, knowing that it would be hard to decline her offer if you knew Xavier would be there. You opened your mouth to speak, but she gave you no time actually for a respons. âWhatever, youâre going with me anywayâ, she spoke while grabbing a hold of your wrist, lightly dragging you out of your dorm room. âEnid stop. At least give me the chance to change clothesâ. She looked over her shoulder, eyeing you up and down - all while she was still dragging you through the halls. âYou look amazing, no need to changeâ. You doubted her, seen that you wore a very oversized sweater on top of your dress. Your legs were covered in nylon stockings as your feet were covered in fussy sock. None of the colours matched one another. It was as if you just had thrown on any piece you found the quickest. You briefly looked at your feet, realizing that you werenât wearing any shoes. âIâm not even wearing shoesâ, you exclaimed. âDoesnât matter, weâre not going outside.â You let out a loud sigh, knowing that arguing with the blond werewolf was not going to bring you anywhere. She would only let go of your wrist until you arrived at Xavierâs dorm. So you let yourself get dragged along the cold halls of Nevermore.
Once upon arrival, Enid knocked excitedly on the door. You heard light music and chatter coming from behind the door. It took a few moments for the door to be opened. Xavierâs tall figure greeting the two of you once it did. He smiled at you both, opening the door a little further to let you in. Enid hopped towards the others, quickly conversing with them. As you went to enter the room Xavier spoke up: âdidnât expect you to comeâ. He had a small smile adorning his face while his warm eyes looked into yours. âI really didnât have a choiceâ, you spoke in a monotone voice. You scolded Enid in your head for allowing you to wear such an outfit as you went to meet up with your friends, specifically Xavier. He scrunched his eyebrows together in confusion, trying to make sense of your answer. You nodded your head towards Enid, silently communicating that it was her doing. He gave a sign of understanding. âWell, Iâm glad youâre here.â You offered him a small smile before continuing to make your way into the room, not sure how to respond to such a comment. Itâs not that you didnât understand the social structures. It was actually due to an overload of possible ways to respond. Your head came up with multiple replies. Choosing one was just too tedious, so you opted for not reacting at all.Â
The beginning of the evening went by slow. You didnât say much. You listened to the others, swaying your head along to the music while drinking some of the booze they had sneaked into Nevermore. You sat on the ground, leaning against the side of Xavierâs bed. This way you had an overview of everyone. Enid was sat between Ajax and Wednesday. The love triangle being painfully obvious. The two of them were battling for Enidâs attention, even though Wednesday wouldnât admit to that. She refused to allow herself to feel any sort of those type of feelings, gagging at the thought of them. But she knew that blond werewolf had ignite something inside of her, to her dismay.Â
A bit further into the room you heard the loud laughing of Bianca and Yoko, both clearly intoxicated by the drinks in their hands. You pulled your attention from them to look at the only person left in the room that you purposefully hadnât acknowledged much. Xavier sat at his desk, sketching some things in his sketchbook while enjoying the music and occasional gulp of his drink. You allowed your eyes to roam over his figure, adoring how he looked. You tried to observe every detail. From his messy hair to the little specks of brown in his eyes.Â
As the evening strolled around, things had gotten more interesting. You started to play an innocent game of âTruth or dareâ. Soon it turned into a more challenging version. As someone didnât completed their dare or truthfully answered the question, they had to take a shot. The punishment eventually evolved into taking a piece of clothing off. By now you had to get rid of your fussy socks and oversized sweater. Luckily the booze in your system kept you warm, otherwise you would be shivering the whole time.Â
Dares were thrown at people since barely anyone choose truth. Ajax had to kiss Enid. Afterwards she was dared to kiss Wednesday, much to the girlâs dismay. She might have acted as if she hated to kiss Enid, but you noticed that their lips lingered longer than a normal kiss between best friends would be. You were next, impatiently waiting for your turn. âTruth or dare? Choose wiselyâ, Bianca asked teasingly. âI always do darlingâ, you winked at her in a playful demander, âBring on the challengeâ. She laughed at your behavior, pondering over a possible dare to give to you. She was about to open her mouth to speak when Enid interrupted her. âSit on Xavierâs lap until itâs your turn againâ, she smirked at her own brilliance. You shoot her a cold look, knowing what she was trying to do. But you wouldnât let her win this battle. Two people could play that game. âSure, if he is okay with thatâ, you stated calmly while continuing to stare into her eyes, trying to show that sheâs not getting underneath your skin. âItâs fine by meâ, Xavier spoke softly. This comment pulled your attention, diverting your eyes towards him. You didnât expect him to accept such a thing. The two of you were close, comfortably hanging out with one another and enjoying each others company. None the less, you two werenât particularly touchy throughout your friendship. You shared the occasional hug, but that was as far as showing physical affection got.
You stood up, dusting off your dress. Enid was watching you with anticipation, dying to know how the two of you would react to being so close and intimate with the other. Just to annoy her, you took extra long to make your way over to Xavier. Once you reached his desk, standing next to his sitting figure, you made brief eye contact with him. âYou sure itâs okay?â, you questioned in a soft voice so only he could hear you. He nodded his head while a kind smile curled his lips upwards. âIt isâ. With that you sat down on his legs, trying to put as much weight on your own legs. Of course Xavier noticed what you were doing, so he pulled you closer to his chest while shifting your legs over to the side. This way you were sitting sideways on his lap, your arm leaning against his chest. He draped his arm around your waist, resting his large hand just above your hip. At first you felt strange to be in such a close proximity to him. You could feel his breath fanning against your face, causing goosebumps to cover your skin. But the longer you sat on his lap, the more comfortable you felt. The heat of his body was warming yours. The smell of his cologne infiltrating your nose, making you feel intoxicated by him. His thumb was lightly drawing figures on your clothed skin, causing a calming sensation to wash over you. However it didnât mean that you werenât restless anymore. You were swinging your legs back and forth while your hands fiddled with the hem of your dress. Every few minutes you shifted in his lap, trying to change positions to have some variety. As you did so, you felt Xavier tense up underneath you. He let out a soft cough, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. After a few more seconds of wiggling around in his lap, his large hand gripped your thigh. This made your movements stop, no longer trying to get into a new comfortable position. âStop moving, pleaseâ, he said quietly in your ear. His breath tickled your skin, making a shiver run down your spine as goosebumps covered your skin again. You looked up at him, only now registering how close your faces were to one another. You had to swallow the small lump down your throat before you could speak. âSorryâ, you mumbled, feeling an odd tension arise in the room - specifically between you and Xavier. Your mind started to drift away from reality, overanalysing the sudden change. The chatter from the others got drown out by your thoughts as your eyes stared off into the distance. Why did he stiffen at your movement? Was he uncomfortable with you on his lap? Your mind was racing a thousand miles an hour, not being able to keep up with all the screaming thoughts.Â
You were so consumed by your mind that you hadnât realize the time ticking by. The dares completed by the others went unnoticed by you. You had zoned out the entire time the group went through another round of âtruth or dareâ. You missed Bianca twerking to the music, Yoko admitting her deepest secret to the group and them calling out your name as your turn came up. Xavier lightly shook you, trying to get your attention. â(y/n)?â His hand rubbed up and down your arm. The sensation of his warm skin against yours brought you back to reality. You blinked quickly, trying to register your surroundings as you looked confused around the room. âSomeone was deep in tranceâ, Bianca teased, chuckling lightly at your flustered state. âYeah, sheâs totally intoxicated by himâ, Yoko added to the one sided conversation. âOh come on, let her be. Sheâs just comfortable up thereâ, Enid tried to keep the teasing at bay. Only she had the right to tease you about this situation, knowing the depths behind it. âYou can stay if you wantâ, Xavier said, still softly rubbing your arm. âNo, itâs okayâ, you were trying to make your way of his lap, but his arm stopped your movements. âPlease?â, he asked. His voice quietly filled your ears, sending another huge shiver down your spine. You looked back at him with a questioning look, not understanding all the signs he was giving. Perhaps you were reading them wrong.Â
The group was carefully watching your interaction, intrigued by how it would play out. Well, everyone beside Wednesday. She scrunched her face up in disgust at the lovey dovey stuff. âReady to take on another dare?â, her monotone voice interrupted the moment. Enid looked annoyed at the girl beside her, lightly hitting her arm. This interruption had caused you to stand up from Xavierâs lap. The cold immediately overtook your body, missing the heat that had been radiating from the tall boy. âSure why notâ, you responded, awkwardly standing next to the desk. âWhat about staying in Xavierâs lap for the rest of the evening?â, Enid suggested. The rest of the group agreed with her. You looked over at Xavier, silently asking him for permission to return to your spot in his lap. He nodded his head lightly as a bright smile adorned his face.Â
You were glad to be back in his lap, the warmth of his body already heating up yours. It was comfortable. The odd tension that previously hung between you had decreased to something bearable. However your mind was still wandering, trying to piece together all the signs he had been giving this evening. Something didnât add up, but you werenât going to waste more time thinking about it. You decided to just enjoy the moment for what it was.Â
As the game continued, you felt yourself grow tired. Your head felt heavy, a certain fog started clouding your mind. So without thinking much about it, you laid your head against Xavierâs shoulder. You felt him look down at you, probably questioning himself why you rested your head against him. âTired?â, he asked softly. âA bitâ, you mumbled back, snuggling closer to him. His arm tightened around your waist, holding you close to his chest. After a while he rested his head against yours, being comfortable with your current position. In all honesty he didnât want to leave this position ever. He finally had you close to him, something that he had been dreaming about for months.
âXavierâ, Ajaxâs loud voice filled the room, making said boy jump lightly in his chair. The movement made you jump up too. You lifted your head from his shoulder, your hand resting on his chest to stable yourself. You felt his rapid beating heart underneath your skin, wondering what the reason behind his rapid heartbeat was.Â
âTruth or dare?â Xavier pondered over the possible outcomes. Everyone was getting tired so the dares werenât as challenging anymore. What harm would it do to accept another one? âUhm, dare I supposeâ. He saw the gorgon exchanging looks with Enid, both wearing wide grins on their faces. He already hated the decision he made. âI dare you to stare into (Y/n)âs eyes for one minute while your faces are only a few inches apartâ. That shouldnât be so hard, he thought to himself. But boy was he wrong.Â
You straddled him, both legs at each side of him so you were now facing to him. His arms were comfortably draped around your waist, holding you in place. Your faces were just a few inches away from one another, causing your breath to mingle together. At first Xavier just stared into your eyes, observing all the colours he could find swirling in them. The small little specks in them resembling their own personal galaxy. He could stare at you all day, get lost in your beauty for eternity. He couldnât stop his eyes from adverting towards your lips every once in a while. They looked so soft. He wondered how it would feel to kiss them, to have them against his. Without registering his moving body, he leaned in closer. It was as if some magnet was pulling him towards you. Just as his eyes darted back to look at your lips, he noticed that you were staring at his lips; licking yours as a reaction. âLike what you see?â, he teased as a wide smile made its way up his face. âAlwaysâ, you retorted back, too entranced with his beauty to care about possibly ruining your friendship. You eagerly wanted to close the gap between you two. You wanted to get lost in the feeling, the high of finally being able to kiss him and claiming his as yours.Â
His hand slowly cupped your cheek, stroking softly against your skin with his thumb. You were less than an inch apart, both itching to finally touch the other. Your eyes fluttered shut as you followed your instinct, slowly moving closer to him. But before anything could happen - before your lips connected - a loud monotone voice interrupted the moment. âTimeâs upâ, Wednesday announced. âNoooâ, you heard a couple of people respond to the interruption. At that you backed away from Xavier, sad that the moment had been ruined. You had forgotten about your surroundings, getting lost in the longing. Hearing the others biker had pulled you back into reality. A heavy weight settled itself onto your chest. This might had been the only chance to kiss him, to make your dream come true. You awkwardly fiddled with your hands, not daring to look Xavier in the eyes again. For some reason you felt embarrassed, like you were only fooling yourself.Â
Unbeknownst to you Xavier had a similar battle going on in his mind, blaming himself for not kissing you earlier. He felt as if he had wasted his only chance at getting with the person of his dreams. Seeing you so vulnerable in front of him, broke his heart. He wondered if you were feeling the same emotions as him. Did you want to kiss him as badly as he wanted to kiss you? Was that why you suddenly look so devastated? Before more questions could pop in his mind, he let out a sigh escape from his lips. âFuck itâ, he said underneath his breath, just loud enough for you to pick up on the sound. He tilted your head upwards with his finger, making you look at him. His large hands came to cup your face, before he closed the gap between you two. At first you were too stunned to react, unsure of what to do. You werenât fully able to register what was currently happening to you. But soon your body reacted on its own, moving your lips along with his. One of your hands went to his hair, while the other grabbed onto his shirt. You melted into his body, craving his touch. This was all you ever wanted.Â
You broke apart at the sound of your friends whistling and celebrating this sweet moment. It was painful for them to watch you both be so in love with each other, but no one making a move. Your eyes fluttered open, looking deeply into Xavierâs eyes while an idiotic grin made its way onto your face. He mimicked your expression, feeling overjoyed. You felt your cheeks heat up at the realization of what just happened. The kiss was amazing, but you felt embarrassed to express such an intimate moment in the presence of your friends. Their teasing would be unbearable. You groaned at the thought, hiding your face into the crook of Xavierâs neck. This action made him chuckle. He just held you tightly against him, hoping that this moment would last forever. The high of kissing you taking over, no longer caring about the teasing of his friends. He had you close to him and that was all he wanted right now.
Summary: The reader is the child of the two most skilled FBI agents of the States. At the FBI training she is paired up with a very determent young man who always finds a way to trouble her.
Words: 5K ( 5004)
Authorâs note: Iâm so sorry with how late this fic got published. But life got in the way. I also got carried away with this, so sorry for the length of it. Hope you enjoy it.
It was your third day at the FBI Academy. Things werenât looking any better for you. The other students still didnât like you. In contrary, most hated you. Jealousy already crept up to them, which was mostly rooted in insecurities. The most common way they outed those insecurities was through mean comments and nasty glares. Another popular way was by pointing out all your imperfections in order to prove that they were better than you. Besides the students that hated you, there were 2 other groups. The ones who didnât care about the drama, focussing all their attention on the training. And the ones who were too afraid to do anything at all. If they are nice to you, they thought the other students would hate them too. But if they are rude to you, they thought the supervisors would harm them. They were stuck in an internal dilemma, therefore preferring not to acknowledge your existence.
So overall, you havenât had any luck on making friends. Even small talk was nearly impossible. The most you got out of them was a small nod or a tight-lipped smile.Â
Luckily they werenât too envious yet. There only had been theory lessons about the basics of the FBI life. A few small writing tasks were given due to next week. But those were easily completed if you paid attention to the lectures. Or in your case, easy to complete because your parents had drilled in the same things when you were a small child. You hoped the bigger tasks would be bearable to complete. Otherwise the other students their enviousness would increase, seen that those task would be easy for you due to your previous trainings. It could go two ways. For some reason you choose the hopeful one, but that desirable future went down the drain as the supervisor announced their next statement.Â
âA majority of the tasks will require you to work in duos. To make it easier, we assigned you a partner that will stick with you till the end of the year-â. As soon as those words left his mouth- echoing through the room- all eyes went to you. A lot showed their meanest dead glare, speaking louder than any words could. They rather die than be partnered up with you. Others wore disgusted expressions, imagining how you would steal the show. Which wouldnât happen, or at least not your intention to do so; but they preferred to believe their assumptions about you. Another part of the students just wanted to see who the unlucky student would be, viewing the whole situation as an entertaining drama show.Â
You tried your hardest to focus on the names being called, but your mind was racing. It was overtaken by stress and worry, a million irrational thoughts were crossing your mind. You feared how your future partner would react. They might scream at you, insult you. They could beat you up, which was unlikely but your irrational state kept it as a possibility. They also could ignore you throughout the training, turning the teamwork into a solo job. Whatever their reaction was, you feared the worst.Â
With a scared, little heart you awaited the dreadful moment where all hell would break loose. â(Y/N)(Y/L/N) and -â, the supervisor spoke with a more lifelike voice than his previous monotone one. There was a small pause afterwards. Most students assuming he added it for dramatic effects, but in reality he had stumbled upon the difficult name again. âMie- Miece-...â, his eyebrows knitted together in confusion, trying his hardest to pronounce the forsaken name. Without giving it much thought, you continued for him. âMieczyslaw Stilinski, sirâ, your voice was quiet and timid. But none the less the name was pronounced flawlessly. Said boyâs head spun towards you at a rapid speed. He was flabbergasted that someone pronounced his real name correctly.
You met his intense gaze with a shy smile, all of sudden experiencing difficulty looking into his warm, captivating eyes. During your previous âstaring battlesâ he was the one backing out first, breaking underneath your intimidating stare. You had a specific way of looking at someone, making it feel like you were gazing into their deepest, darkest secrets. You could break through the most closed off people by just a simple glance. But that specific skill suddenly failed you. You no longer could break through your opponent - which hasnât happened before. Since the moment you first met him until now, you were able to read the boy fairly easily. He had set his mind on display. But at the moment it seemed like he had found a new strength to withstand your power
His eyes were clouded with a mixture of emotions, making it hard to read him. As you tried to sense which emotions he was feeling, you only stumbled upon a vague mess of pure chaos - what probably was a close resemblance of the inside of his mind. You didnât know which thoughts were rushing through his mind, nor could you predict his next moves. It was strange being locked outside of someones mind. It seemed like he purposely blocked you out, withholding your from diving into his darkest depths. He was challenging your skills - something that intrigued you.Â
You eventually turned away from him. The intensity of his gaze made your face heat up, painting the surface an uncomfortable bright red. It felt like he was examining every little detail of you - as if he just discovered your existence. It was as if he suddenly saw you in a new light. Perhaps his bubble of wrong assumptions bursted open, revealing him to a whole world of new truths. Or - the most believable one - he had recognized you from the past. Maybe the vague memory that had been fading in the back of his mind finally filled in the blank spots.
You had met him plenty of years ago. His dad, the sherif of Beacon Hills, was struggling with a hard case. It was something he had never stumbled upon before. He was in dire need of stronger agents who had a wider field of experience. As the news reached your parents, they were eager to help right away. They left as quickly as they could, pulling you along on their trip. Their excuse was âyou could never have enough experienceâ.
---
As soon as you arrived in Beacon Hills, your parents disappeared into a closed off room where the sherif and his team were waiting for them. You were left behind in the middle of the chaotic police station. People were rushing around, looking through files and discussing various things. Most of them paid no mind to you. Fortunately a few polite men did acknowledge your presence, allowing you to help with some light work.Â
You held some light conversations with the men, trying to get to know them a little, while they had given you some small tasks. You were allowed to go through some files, sorting and reading them while making notes. Even if it was a small job, it gave you a fulfilling feeling. You felt like you were a part of their team. You were consumed by the task, making you less aware of your surroundings. You hadnât noticed how quickly the time had passed, nor had you noticed the young boy staring at you.Â
âMieczyslaw Stilinskiâ, the grumbling voice of the sherif alerted the whole police station of his arrival. He and your parents had been on a trip through town, trying to collect more evidence for the case. All chatter came to a stop as everyoneâs eyes shifted from the door - where the sherif stood - to said boy, including yours. Most people lost interest after a few seconds, already being used to this type of interaction between the two. But you had grown a certain fascination for the raven-haired boy.
He awkwardly stared at his shoes, shifting his weight from one foot to the other while fiddling with his fingers. He was avoiding the sherifâs intense stare, who was walking towards him. Once the sherif stood in front of him, he showed the older man an apologetic smile. He received a disapproving head shake in return. The sherif pulled the boy to the side for a quick chat, trying to avoid any listening ears. But you couldnât help overhear their conversation. It gave you just enough information to make the mysteriousness around the boy decrease, but at the same time it wasnât enough to lift it completely. This sparked your curiosity even more.Â
âI told you to go home after schoolâ, the sherif said in a hushed scolding tone that dripped with seriousness. The boy was still looking at the floor, mumbling an incoherent answer. âLeave the investigation up to the professionals. Being on those grounds as a non-authorized person is against the rules-.â The raven-haired boy tried to interrupt the sherifâs speech, but got cut off before any words could leave his mouth. âNo buts, no arguing. Iâm letting you off easy. Donât push it.â This made the boy whine, stomping lightly with his foot as he flailed his arms around. âDonât whine. Just go sit on the bench until Iâm done for the day.â The boy held a sad expression on his face, pouting his lip for dramatic effect while showing off his big, puppy eyes. But it only seemed to annoy the sherif further. âItâs not going to work on me. Now, sit down.. And I donât want to hear another word until weâre home.â Even if the man had kind demeanors, his voice and stare were strangely intimidating. With a low grumble the boy obeyed his orders.Â
He sat down with a sour face, fumbling with his hands while bouncing his leg. Being around working people without being able to help clearly made him uncomfortable. He was envious of them. He wanted to solve crimes; go through big files, go on investigations and spend long nights figuring out every little detail. It was thrilling to him. But he wasnât allowed to do anything of those desired tasks. Therefore it wasnât too unthinkable that his enviousness got fixated on you. He had never seen you around - a sign of you being new in town - but you immediately had been given tasks. While he had been coming here ever since he could walk and always got send to the bench. Speaking of an unfair treatment. what made you better than him. He didnât meant to put his emotions on display, but he couldnât withhold himself from staring at you. Only his gaze was a tad bit too intense, nearly boring holes through your small figure. It as an understandable reaction, but it started to get unbearable.
Once you felt his intense gaze fixate on something else, you carefully glanced at him. You tried to take in every little detail of his features. He had captivated your attention. A strange pull from within tried to tug you closer to him - something that was stronger than your other senses. You had this urge to get to know him, to dig through his darkest depths. You wanted to break through his closed off walls. And seen that the case wasnât going to be solved overnight, you were going to succeed eventually.
As the day came to an end, most policemen started to head home. You gave the files to one of the polite men, while holding another light conversation as he packed his stuff. He gave you a smaal hug before heading out the door. Eventually they were all gone, leaving you and the boy behind. The sherif, his team and your parents were still in the station, but âhidingâ in the closed off room.Â
You awkwardly stood next to the desk that you had been working on. You were trying to convince yourself to go up to the boy. It would be weird to continue standing there when you could be civil and sit next to him.Â
With each step you took, your anxiety levels increased. They were skyrocketing. Your heart hammered against your ribcage. Your throat started to close up, becoming extremely dry while a huge lump started to form. Your longes had difficulty drawing in air. Your hands and knees started to tremble. But none the less, you continued your way towards him. Even if your body reacted so strongly, your curiosity outweighed all the negative effects and emotions. You were determined to get to know him.Â
Unbeknownst to you, the boyâs anxiety had increased as well. He had purposely avoided you, trying to be as far away from you as he could. An odd mixture of emotions had swirled through his veins, immediately overwhelming him He was afraid of how he would react to your proximity. Even if you werenât aware of the turmoil of thoughts flooding his mind, you noticed other small details. The bouncing of his leg intensified, going more rapidly and seemingly getting more out of control. The fiddling of his fingers and other fidgety movements were more clumsily. A tense energy radiated from him. Both your nervous and tense energies started to dance in the air, filling the room with a crushing weight.Â
You sat down near the opposite end of the bench, leaving quite some space between the two of you. His eyes were glued to the ground, but werenât focusing on anything particular. It seemed like he didnât want you around, making you question whether you should speak up or not. Your mind was flooding with plenty irrational thoughts; the possibilities of how he could react, reasons as to why he wouldnât want you around and plenty âwhat ifâ-questions. As the list of thoughts grew, your ability to speak decreased. A few minutes of silence passed by, making the air seem even more tense. Its weight was crushing you even more. But eventually you were able to strain out a small âhiâ. He mumbled a quiet âheyâ in return. You had hoped that your efforts of greeting him would spark a conversation, but instead you were once again met with the heaviness of silence. Â
Your determinateness was strong. Even the warning signs being send off by your brain, didnât stop you from trying to talk with him. âWhat - what are you-you doing here?â, you stuttered out with much difficulty. âWaiting for my dad to be done with workâ, he mumbled all his words. It wasnât really the answer you expected. You hoped that he would tell you more about the reason why he ended up at the station. The boy - who goes by the name Mieczyslaw- had been dragged in by another cop who had been on patrol. It had sparked your curiosity the most. This adventurous, rebellious side, his huge fascination with his fatherâs job - those were the things that pulled you to him, the things that made him all that more interesting. But he didnât seem to spill any of those interests soon.Â
You just stared forward, leaning the back of your head against the wall. After some other attempts of good conversation starters, you had given up hope. You werenât going to get anything interesting out of him. He had been very avoidant. So you had given up for today. You would just wait for your parents in silence.Â
âAre- are you new here?â The suddenness of hearing his voice shocked you a bit. Your brain took a few extra seconds to process what was going on. âOh, yeah. My parents came to help on the case.â His big brown eyes shot to your face, staring at you in disbelieve. âReally?â, he breathed out. The enthusiasm in his voice was clear as day. He didnât even give you time to answer as he started to ramble excitedly while flailing his arms around. âThe top two FBI agents are your parents?!! You are the child of the top two FBI agents?! Woow- I -I canât believe this. You- you..âÂ
âMieczyslawâ, you calmly said his name in order to try to break him out of his rambling thoughts. âItâs honestly less impressive than you think.â This only seemed to trigger more thoughts being spewed passed his rambling mouth. âAre you kidding me?! You are a (Y/L/N)! That must be-â, he abruptly stopped talking. It seemed like he only now realized you had said his name. âWait- you- You know my name? How do you know the correct pronunciation of my name?!â He looked you dead in the eyes, waiting for your answer. You shrugged your shoulders, not really knowing an explanation. âItâs not that difficultâ, it sounded more like a question than a statement. âNot that difficult?! No one can pronounce my name. Thatâs why they call me Stiles all the time.â You shrugged your shoulders again. âYou really are a special personâ, he said, making you laugh.Â
Soon you fell into a comfortable conversation. You were thrilled to hear stories about his life in Beacon Hills and his rebellious adventures, while he was overjoyed to hear about your life. You only stopped talking when your parents came into sight. Your dad ruffled his hand through your hair as a way of greeting you. âHope she hasnât been too much troubleâ, he asked Stiles, making a teasing face towards you. You playfully rolled your eyes at him. Before your playful banter could continue, the sherif entered the room. âLetâs go home, shall we?â, he asked with a tired smile on his face.Â
In the car your parents explained that youâll be staying in Beacon Hills for a while. They had made small progress today. They might need a few weeks to solve the case completely. This news wasnât a surprise to you. What did shock you was when they told you that you would be staying at the sherifâs house. He had offered you his spare room. He didnât want you to end up in some cheap motel. Besides he enjoys the company.Â
As you reached the sherifâs house, Stiles seemed overjoyed by the news. He was going to introduce you to his best friend, Scott McCall as soon as he had the chance to. You were going to go on lots of adventures. He rambled on and on, only to be stopped by a slap on the back of his head by his father. The rest of the evening wasnât very eventful. You all ate dinner, talked about some lighthearted things and relaxed by watching a movie.Â
The next morning was filled with Stilesâ complaints. He had to go to school while you were allowed to join your parents on the investigation. Seen that you were only going to be in Beacon Hills for the period of time it took to solve the case, it would be useless to start at a new school. Once you would have found you place, you would have to leave. So your parents deemed it to be more beneficial for you to help them with the small and lighter parts of the investigation. That way the case would be solved quicker and you would get some extra training experience.Â
After a lot of arguing with his father, Stiles finally gave in to going to school. But he made you promise to tell him everything once he set foot into the station. You brushed it off, knowing very well that you werenât allowed to speak about the case with outsiders unless it is crucial and would benefit the investigation process. But he kept true to his word. As soon as school finished, he raced to the station and barged through the door. Once he saw you, he started his interrogation. âStiles, Iâm not allowed to say anything about itâ. âBut-â, he tried to argue, but cut himself off as he saw your serious face. âWe both know the rules-â. You tried to divert his attention to something else, playing into his overwhelming chaotic mind to keep the ball rolling. You just had to tip him off and he would be talking for hours upon hours about various topics. One of those was Scott. He told you about their adventures, the depth of their friendship and all sort of details. Your conversation kept flowing until your parents took you home. This routine continued till Friday night. Stiles would finally introduce you to his best friend that seemed to be a brother to him. You were thrilled to meet someone so dear to him.Â
So the next day, Stiles woke you up at dawn. The sun had just woken up, only showing a few of her sun rays through the trees. Your initial reaction to seeing him in your room was to throw a pillow at him, surely when it was this early. Sure, your parents had done this plenty of times before, but you had expected to sleep in at least a little bit while you were away from home. After some convincing you followed him down the stairs with a sour face and lots of groaning. Not that you had much choice since he was dragging you down by your wrist. âWas this necessary? You really had to wake me at dawn?!â, you glared while pulling your wrist out of his grip. He mumbled some apologies, but the other words didnât get registered in your mind. He spoke in a fast pace, fidgeting wildly during his speech. To his claims, he would have jumped out of his skin from excitement and anticipation if he had to wait any longer to introduce you to his best friend.
While you ate breakfast and made yourself presentable, Stiles nagged your ears off. You were glad to leave the door so his endless complaints stopped. âWant to race to his house?â he asked excitedly. You knitted your eyebrows together at his question. âBut I donât know the route to his house.â âWell, you donât have to since you would be behind me anywayâ, he said with a wink. This sentence made you switch your opinion about racing him in the morning. âOkayâ, you held out your hand to shake on it, âfirst a little starter to the lamppost at the end of the street?â âDealâ. You counted down to three. As soon as you said the last word, you sprinted towards the end of the road. He was a few feet behind you. You leaned against the lamppost, waiting on Stiles. âHow- how did - did you do - that?â, he said in between breaths. âWell, short explanation... my parents have been training me to become a future FBI agent.â âAwesomeâ, he exclaimed. âNah, not reallyâ.
The rest of the way, you talked about the training, explaining some of the tasks to him. But you didnât really want to go into depth about it, seen that some parts of the training seemed cruel. But it was a family tradition, so you had no choice but to follow through with the training.Â
Once you reached the door to Scottâs house, you felt the nerves bubble in your stomach. But you had no time to calm yourself down. Stiles already had ringed the bell multiple times, announcing his arrival. A lovely looking woman with tired eyes opened the door. âOf course itâs you, little trouble makerâ, she laughed softly. âCome in, Iâll go get himâ. She left the door open for the two of you , while she went to inform Scott about your arrival. Stiles easily followed her through the house, whereas you had trouble stepping over the threshold. None the less, you still did it, closing the door behind you. Stiles already sat on the couch, watching some show that was playing on the TV. This was basically a second home to him, so it wasnât all too odd to act this way. But you were new and had trouble feeling as comfortable as him. You awkwardly stood at the end of the hall, not sure what to do next. âYou can sit on the couch too if you likeâ the kind woman spoke to you as she appeared in your sight. She noticed the hesitation in your face, making a âcome hereâ sign with her arms. This motivated you to follow her towards the couch, sitting gently on the comfortable surface. Her charming energy surprisingly had a calming effect on you. âJust wait here till Scott is readyâ, she smiled before stepping towards the kitchen, continuing what she had stopped to do in order to open the door.Â
After a few minutes a tan skinned, raven-haired boy came down the stairs. Stiles greeted him, while you stayed a few feet behind. âHi thereâ, Scott waved at you. âHiâ, you replied back in a small voice. âStiles has told me plenty about youâ, he chuckled lightly, giving off the same charming and calming vibe his mother had. âGood things only, I hopeâ, you teased. âOf courseâ.
You guys talked for a while about all sort of things, mostly just Scott trying to get to know you. Even his mom, Melissa, had joined the conversation for a while before she had to leave for her shift at the hospital. This caused you to quickly fall into a conversation with her about her working field, while the boys starter their own conversation.Â
You were fascinated by the medical workers, curious how their day actually went. Your grandma and other family members were medical workers and had told plenty of stories about their work. But you never had actually spend a day with them at work. Hearing that, Melissa offered you to tag along with her at tomorrowâs shift. Which you gladly accepted
The rest of the day was spend talking with Scott and Stiles while exploring the townâs secrets. They promised you to go on adventures every weekend, making your stay in Beacon Hills more enjoyable. True to their words, each weekend that passed by ,was spend exploring town. Beacon Hills had many secrets waiting to be unraveled and you made it your goal to discover as many as possible.Â
Sadly enough after a month you had to say goodbye to your new best friends. Your bond with Stiles and Scott had grew quickly over time. But the bond between you and Stiles was stronger, seen that you had spend every evening together talking about endless things.Â
The day you had to leave was a chaotic rollercoaster of emotions. You were thrilled that the case was finally solved. The criminals were locked up, awaiting their trails. Your parents and the Sherif would keep in touch if he needed further assistant during the trails. But at the same time you were sad - even heartbroken- to leave Stiles and Scott. You were also sad to go home to your old life again - a life full of endless FBI training.Â
Stiles and Scott had took the day off of school to make your last day enjoyable. They wanted you to remember the good parts and adventures. So they took you on your last adventure in Beacon Hills, trying to make it as rememberable as possible - hoping to fill it full with laughter.Â
When the day came to an end, you had no other choice but to face the sad part. You first said your goodbye to Scott, who had to go home earlier. âIâll miss youâ, you said while hugging him, fighting back the tears. âIâll miss you tooâ. He squeezed you a little harder before releasing you completely. After that he went home with a heavy heart. Saying goodbye to friends was never fun. Now came your goodbye to Stiles. It was harder than you expected. At first you just stood there awkwardly in the hall while your parents where loading the car. It seemed harder to hide your watering eyes, something he noticed immediately. âOh, come hereâ, he said while opening his arms. You gladly accepted the embrace, holding onto him a bit longer. He did the same to you, refusing to let go after a few seconds. It lasted about half a minute. You both needed that hug.Â
â(Y/N) (Y/L/N), Iâm honored to call you - the child of the top two FBI agents- my best friendâ, you rolled your eyes while fondly laughing at his teasing. âAnd Iâm honored to call you my best friend too, Mieczyslawâ. He reacted the same way you did. It was part of your playful teasing banter. âWeâll keep in touchâ. You nodded your head: âWe willâ. You stared into each other eyes, seeing them water even more as the time went by. âItâll be alrightâ, you said while wiping away a single tear that had escaped his eye. âIâll miss you, thatâs allâ. You chuckled sadly: âIâll miss you tooâ. After a few seconds of hesitation, you pulled the green coloured bandana from around your head. âHere to remember meâ, you held it out to him. He smiled fondly at you. Another few tears escaping his eyes, while you started to let out some too. âThanksâ, he said while pulling you into a last hug. This time it lasted even longer than the previous one. It would have lasted longer if your parents hadnât called for you.Â
Later on that evening Stiles had found your note in one of his schoolbooks. You left it there while he was getting ready for your last adventure. âIâll miss you, Mieczyslaw xx - (your phone number)â. He immediately texted you. It became a daily habit, for the first few months at least. But as time went on, your conversations got shorter. There was more time in between responses. The daily texting got reduced to once a week and eventually died out to none at all.Â
That was the last encounter you had with Stiles. Even if it was so long ago, the faint memory had stayed in your mind. Every now and then you looked fondly back to it.Â

Summary: The reader is the child of the two most skilled FBI agents of the States. At the FBI training she is paired up with a very determent young man who always finds a way to trouble her.Â
Authorâs note:Â I tried to make it as genderneutral as possible. But at some point there is a small implication that the reader could be female and their roommate could be male. But further than that, there is no specifications of gender.Â
This is going to be a multiple part fic. The first part already took me way too long to write. So I apologize in advance if the next parts will take long to write too. I will try to finish them as quickly as I can.
Words: 3k (3084)Â
On the most important day of your life, running late was not one of the things you had planned for. But seen how impulsive your roommate could be, it wasnât out of the ordinary for them to mess up your schedule. They had stolen all your alarm clocks at night for some stupid experiment. Yes, you owned multiple. Normally you used your phone as an alarm. But after a couple mishaps caused by your roommate, you couldnât put all your trust entirely on electronic devises. So you had bought an old-fashioned alarm clock that still ran on batteries, just in case something were to happen to your phone. But even that clock had been ruined many times. So from that moment on you always had some spare clocks hidden in your room, just in case.Â
That they had found all your spare clocks wasnât too surprising, seen that they werenât hidden very well. What did shock you was that they hadnât woken you up by their wild scavenger hunt. You were a light sleeper, even the smallest of noises could shake you out of your deep rest. Thatâs why you wore earbuds to bed, including that particular night. They often didnât muffle the sounds enough, surely not during an experiment. Your roommate tend to forget about their surroundings as they start one, getting lost in their passion. You had awoken countless of times to the sound of falling objects, happy laughter, mumbles of rambling thoughts, excited jumping, soft sobbing and frequently a loud whine or groan. By now it was a normal occurrence. But of course, on that night the earbuds had done their job, cancelling out all the noise from the nightly events.Â
The evening before, everything had gone smoothly. Too smoothly. You were supposed to suspect something, but your intuition had failed you due to the overwhelming amounts of emotions that threw you out of balance. There always had to be a bump in the road. Nothing ever went entirely good.Â
You had excitedly packed your backpack, leaving out a book to read before you went to bed. Next you picked out your outfit for the morning, neatly placing it on top of your wooden desk. Making that decision the day before took away a part of the unwanted stress to your already overflowing anxiety-filled body. Not that picking an outfit for the FBI Academy would be hard. They had a strict dress code. Everyone had to wear a white button up, tie being an optional choice. What you wore as bottoms also was a free choice, but they had to be formal and needed to show off professionalism.
Before you had changed into a big T-shirt and some sleeping shorts, you checked over your backpack and outfit; making sure you hadnât forgotten anything. After double checking 3 times, you continued your night âroutineâ. (Your days never looked the same, so you couldnât really call it a routine.) You washed your face and brushed your teeth, bidding your roommate goodnight as you passed by their room. Once in your room again, you placed your phone on the nightstand, making sure itâs charging for the night. Next you grabbed your earbuds, securing them in your ears before climbing into bed. While you sank into the pile of soft pillows, a mixture of emotions overwhelmed you. Excitement and anxiety had boiled up in your body throughout the whole week. But only now did they leave a tight, crushing feeling in your chest. None the less, sleep soon overtook your senses, greeting you with a peaceful night full of dreams.
As soon as your eyes closed, your luck decided to no longer be on your side. A default in your roommateâs experiment had caused a huge black-out in your building. The electricity had been out all night, resulting in your phone being dead as you awoke the next morning. Usually you could have trusted on your spare alarms, but those were also destroyed in the process of the experiment. That left you with no alarms to wake up to , therefore ending up being late.
What actually had woken you up was the harsh light shining through your thin drapes. It immediately triggered a huge wave of panic to drown, stealing all the air from your longes. Your eyes shot to the analogue clock that hung on your wall, cursing loudly as you read the time. You quickly jumped out of bed, stumbling through your room in a hurried state. At a rapid speed you pulled your clothes on, washed your face, brushed your teeth, tamed your wild bed-hair and desperately tried to make yourself look presentable in the little time you had. You ran back to your room to grab your backpack and the book you were supposed to read last night. Next you made your way over to the small kitchen, taking an apple from the fruit bowl. As you stuffed it into your backpack, you placed your book onto the table. While doing so, your eyes caught sight of your roommate sleeping with their head onto the cold surface. They were surrounded by your broken alarm clocks, pieces scattered everywhere. You couldnât resist the urge to hit them against the head with your book. Not too hard of course, but hard enough to make any impact. They jumped awake, nearly falling off their chair. âNext time wake me upâ, you said referring to their failed experiment, âSurely when you steal all my alarm clocks.â You continued rushing to the front door, shoving your book in your backpack as well. They mumbled a small apology. âUsually you wake up way before your alarmâ, their voice was groggy and quiet. While putting on your shoes you shouted your reply: âNot when I havenât slept less than 6 hours in the past 5 days.â Another apology followed, but you payed no mind to it. You shut the door behind you with a rather loud thud. You deeply breathed in and out before starting your run towards campus. The interaction hadnât been in a mean manner or a sign of anyone being upset at the other. It was just your panicked, anxiety filled state being in need to rush, while they had their brain still filled with the morning fog.Â
The reason why you barely had closed your eyes in the past 5 days, was because you were helping your parents who had stumbled upon a cruel twist in their rather difficult case. You couldnât stand to just watch them suffer, so you pulled a few all-nighters with them until you solved most of the hard parts. The feeling of being able to solve such a thing, made it all worth it. None the less, it still had left you exhausted and drained.Â
---
To your surprise you had made it in time. You had ran your way to campus, underestimating how far the distance actually was. You tried to catch your breath as you quickly checked your watch. You had 8 minutes till your class started. It was a little late for your liking, knowing how important punctuality is to them, but it would do. You lightly jogged through the halls as you looked at the map of the building that was supposed to guide you through the maze like structure. Even if you had been there plenty of times before in your life, it still was a confusing structure that didnât want to stick in your head.Â
Your mind was too occupied with other things, completely forgetting about your surroundings. So, it was only logical for you to run into a person. The impact of bumping into their harsh chest made you stumble back the slightest bit, but you were able to quickly steady yourself like nothing had happened. Before you could look at the damage you had done, a high pitched voice cracked out a long ânooâ. In front of you stood a tall, raven-haired man with warm brown eyes. He was looking at the huge coffee stain on his white button while holding his empty coffee cup in his other hand. In the mean while you had gotten distracted by his beauty. You noticed small birthmarks littering his pale skin, resembling little constellations being spread out in the night sky.Â
The string of curse words leaving his lips pulled you out of your fazed out state. You had accidentally been checking out this exceptionally beautiful man, who hopefully hadnât noticed anything of it. It would be highly inappropriate and quite uncomfortable. Luckily for you his eyes were still on the huge coffee stain. âOh, Iâm so sorryâ, you stammered out, immediately moving into action. You swung you backpack to the front, rumbling through your stuff in order to find the spare shirt you had stolen from your roommate. They didnât mind. You were clumsy by nature and had to lend their clothes on plenty occasions. Neither was it your first time to ever ruin someoneâs clothes, so you always tried to be prepared for moments like this.Â
The man continued to angrily mumble to himself, clearly stressing out. He failed to notice the shirt you had offered to him, until you spoke up. âHereâ, you offered him a polite smile as his head shot up at a fast pace. You were met with a confused look being plastered over his face. Assuming what his next statement would be, you answered before he could open his mouth. âItâs a menâs medium.â As his facial expression didnât change, you huffed out an annoyed sigh. He seemed to have trouble connecting the dots. He just had to accept the shirt, thatâs all. You couldnât lose any more time, surely not by a stupid encounter. âTake it or go in with a huge stain, itâs your choiceâ, you stated with annoyance clearly noticeable in your voice, while trying to continue your kind demeanor. You dropped the shirt into his hands. âIf I were you I would change quicklyâ, you said over your shoulder before turning the corner that lead you to your final destination.Â
You had made it just in time. The classroom already filled with students. You quickly sat down at one of the tables that still had an empty spot. On your left sat a nice looking girl with her hair tied up in a tight ponytail. She offered you a kind smile that faded into a mean scowl only seconds later. Would she have recognized you? Did she knew who you were?
You were the child of two of the most skilled FBI agents of the States. They were top of their field and greatly respected by most people. Seen you family (who all worked in similar fields) were so well known, it was only logical that you also would gain the attention from outsiders. But that also caused them to make wrong assumptions about you. They were often too stubborn to see the truth or didnât even want to take the chance to get to know you. They just thought you were an arrogant, ego-centric, selfish child who was spoiled to dead and never had to work a day in their life. They thought you were in dire need to constantly get all the attention. They expected you to think highly about yourself while looking down on others, therefore also expecting you to be condescending towards them.Â
Your parents had tried to prepare you for this. Not everyone is going to like you or take their time to get to know you before voicing their opinions about you. In this field, and similar fields, professional jealousy was very common. It made people act in vile ways. You feared this was going to happen in your training.Â
You sat in your chair with a scared heart while anxiously tapping your pencil against the desk. The supervisor was reading names of a list, but your mind drowned his voice out due to your excessive worrying. It all went smoothly, until he tumbled over a particular hard name. âMie-Mic...â, the poor man looked questionably at his paper, desperate to pronounce the name correctly. As on cue the boy from earlier came to stand into the doorframe. His stained shirt was replaced by yours, fitting him just a tad bit too tightly. It showed off his muscular body even more. âMiecsyslaw Stilinski, sir... But most people call me Stiles.â His voice was lower this time, but still clearly with with raging anxiety. Hearing his name roll of his tongue so smoothly made an alarm go off in your head. It sounded oddly familiar. Surely the nickname âStilesâ had triggered a vague memory to resurface in your head. You just couldnât figure out any of the details. It was like an itch you couldnât scratch.Â
The supervisor looked sternly at the new boy with an unimpressed look on his face. His eyes examined him, clearly judging his appearance. âAh, I see. Well, next time be on time .. and dress appropriately. You donât need to try showing off your pretentious muscles, it doesnât suit you.â That comment made you feel even more guilty. It was your fault he was late and had to dress in a too tight shirt. He apologized with his eyes faintly focusing on something behind the supervisor, before they quickly went to you in order to shoot you a nasty glare. You returned an apologetic smile that didnât help much with the current situation. He continued to hold eye contact with you until the manâs voice filled the room again. âNow take a seat will youâ, the annoyance was clear as day. His eyes left yours for a split second as he came to action, stumbling his way towards the empty chair that just happened to be to your right. As he passed by, still holding intense eye contact with you, his faint but sweet cologne filled your nose. A scent that later on would distractingly infiltrate your nose, no matter how much you tried to focus on something else.Â
You were pulled out of your trance again when an excited voice filled your ears. â(Y/N)(Y/L/N), what a surprise to see you here. What could we possibly teach you? You already know everything and are following your parents footsteps flawlessly.â Your cheeks reddened at his praising comment. The other students immediately glared at you, envying how sweet he acted towards you. Towards the others he had been cold and distant, whereas now he was talking highly about you. A big difference that everyone easily noticed. The room immediately was filled with a strong uncomfortable tension that reeked of jealousy.
The main reason for his kind demeanor towards you was because you already knew each other. Your parents often visited the Academy, helping with the development of new tasks or other improvements. Other times he visited you at home. He had seen you grow into the person you are today. His bond with you could be considered as a familiar one, or at least close to. So that explained. his fondness of you. The other reason for his praising was the status of your parents. It would be a shame on him and the Academy to talk down on or disrespect your family or you in any way. Besides the great help they provided for the Academy, they also were one of their sponsors.Â
You just hoped that they wouldnât use this to your advantage by treating you differently and more highly. You wanted to be given a fair chance. If they were going to train you without fairly criticizing you out of fear of disrespecting your familyâs name, then this whole thing would be a waste of time.Â
âWell, everyone is equal to the law. Itâs one of the requirements we all need to go through to become an FBI agent. No matter how experienced or inexperienced we are, we all deserve to be treated equallyâ, you said timidly, trying not to sound overly confident or condescending towards others. You gave the supervisor a timid but kind smile while trying to avoid the burning glares. You didnât want to go any deeper into the subject.Â
Seen that you were a child of the two top FBI agents of the states, meant that you had been trained to follow their footsteps from a very young age. As a baby you were given a lot of puzzles and stimulants to train your senses. At the age of 3 the tasks started to be more difficult and challenging. At your 5 the training started to become serious. When you were 12 you already were allowed to help with smaller cases. At 16 you were actively helping them with all types of cases. Both your parents had gone through the same training, seen that their fathers also had been top FBI agents. At this point the training had become some sort of tradition in your family. Most of the people in your family had underwent similar trainings, as they all worked in similar fields. They varied from FBI agents, cops, sherifs, detectives to medical helpers such as nurses, doctors, firemen,...
The supervisor laughed at your comment. âIâm sure youâll graduate without any trouble. Itâll be an easy game for you. Even in your sleep youâll still be top of the class.â Again, you shoot him an awkward but polite smile, being uncomfortable by the amount of praising he has done. It was overwhelming and placing you in a hard position. âThat depends on how hard you make the tasksâ, your timid voice became even more quiet as the mean glares had intensified. âAlways so humble. Just like your parents.â With that statement he ended his long praising session.
As he continued his speech of the importance of this training, you let out a deep sigh. You had turned impossibly bright, your face burning from embarrassment. Without intending to, he had put you as a target for everyone to hate on. He made you seem like the enemy that everyone had to fear. He had thrown tons of gasoline on the burning fire of jealousy. Your future colleagues saw you as the one thing that would stand in their way of becoming a FBI agent, something that would withhold them from their dream. If there wasnât going to be rough play already, there sure would be now. This was going to be a rougher year than you had anticipated. You were already dreading the next day to come.Â
Just here to tell you that I am not a dead account. I just am really busy with work and exams. Iâve been trying to balance those two, but itâs hard. So that also means that I have no time left to write.Â
But Iâm hoping, once my exams are over that iâll have some time to write. But the start of university is nearing too. So I canât promise much.Â
I do have some ideas in my drablbes saved. It might just take me a bit to finish them seen that Iâm still stuck in a creative artblock.
Thank you so much for your understanding and the support. It always cheers me up to see you guysâ support.Â
Summary: You were walking around with a hidden identity, but one particular moment will reveal all truths. Luckily for you, it ended up being in your favor
Word count: 8,2 k (8240) (sorry)
warning: brief mention of dead grandparents, very short and Umbridgeâs detention but no description of blood or pain
Authorâs note: A big part of this fic is about the reader. I donât know if this is interesting to anyone. But there are also parts of their friendship with Draco and eventually fluff with Fred.Â
Also my apologies for making another very lengthy fic- The longest that i have written ever. I was just bursting with sudden inspiration. Hope you enjoy reading this! x
PS. Also let me know if you prefer longer fics, or if you want me to split these in two/three parts?
Being a Slytherin wasnât your favorite thing. You hated how quite some fellow Slytherins had tendencies to believe the ideology of blood status. Your parents were absolutely disgusted by that ideology. Even if they are from a high ranking at the Ministry, they were the most open-minded, understanding and loving people you knew. They didnât thrive for power, only for justice and equality. They didnât care about others blood status, their wealth or any other materialistic things that didnât define their worth. They just cared if you were human and if you were treating others well. They even were fond of the Muggle world and their inventions. A passion they shared with Mister Weasley, who they often protected against other members of the Ministry.Â
As a child you often were found at the Ministry. Your parents took you with them and let you run around the place. You loved hanging around the people working there and asked them questions about their work. But Mister Weasley was your favor person to hang around with. You always darted off to his department to talk about his newest fascinations with the Muggle world. This loving and caring aura radiated of him, filling you with a special warmth. He just had this comforting nature around him.
But being the daughter of well-known and respected people of a high ranking also came with a downside. People would treat you differently. They would expect things from you that werenât expected from others. They didnât give you a fair chance at things. Even if people didnât know you because of seeing you around at the Ministry, they still could recognize you immediately. Your whole family was characterized by a single feature. All your family members had a bright white lock of hair at the front of their heads. To most it wasnât that special, but it was a clear give-away for your identity. None the less, you were proud to be a part of such an amazing family. But as you were going to start your Hogwarts career, it would only cause unfair situations that either were in your favor or to your disadvantage. So your parents came up with a plan.
You were a Metamorphmagus. You could change your appearance whenever you liked. Sometimes when your emotions got the best of you, they unintentionally changed your hair colour or eye colour. But over the years you had been able to master your abilities. So in order to be given a fair change at Hogwarts, you would change your appearance the slightest bit. Even if you didnât like to hide your bright white lock of hair, it was the first thing that needed to change. Now you only had a head full of silky (Y/H/C) locks without a bright white one contrasting in the mix. After that, you tweaked some of your facial features - only the lightest bit in order to not cause a total identity crisis. It was just to throw people off. Another thing that was going to change was that you were going to go by your motherâs last name. Her name was also known by the people, but going by your fatherâs last name would be the biggest give-away. At least now, people would need to take some time to figure out your real identity. Hopefully that would give them enough time to get to know you first, instead of believe their assumptions about your family.
When you first set foot on the platform, you were buzzing on adrenaline and anxiety. Your parents had dropped you off at front gates of the station, in hopes not to ruin their plan. Immediately your eyes had found the bright red-headed family standing there with their beloved children. It was a lovely sight to see. They are wore bright smiles on their faces and hugged each other goodbyes. You were immediately drawn to them. You already had started to grow a certain fondness for the Weasley family. It had started off with Arthur. He was the kindest man you had met. He always spoke in a very loving and caring manner about his wife and his children. They all had the same welcoming and caring energy radiating of them. Even if you had only saw them from a far distance, it was clear as day that they were raised by two of the most loving people and naturally had picked up that characteristic. You knew at that moment that going to Hogwarts with them around was going to be great.Â
As the years passed on you were delighted with how well everything was going. People took their time to get to know you. Even if they eventually figured out who you were, they mostly kept it to themselves. They had seen how kind you truly were and therefore it didnât matter who your parents were. But perhaps they kept it to themselves because of how respected your family was. Not that therefore people agreed with their morals and praised them as saints. No, they just had this energy around them. Something that showed you how powerful they were but at the same time showed how open-minded and understanding they were. They were humble and honest. Or perhaps they kept quiet because they knew you werenât scared to voice your opinion to someone and didnât hesitate to confront someone about their wrongdoings. You absolutely couldnât stand it when someone was discriminated because of something foolish as blood status, wealth, their Hogwarts house or anything else that didnât define someoneâs worth. You werenât loud nor an extroverted person, but you would always stand up for those who were being targeted by the close-minded bullies. It didnât matter if there was a big crowd or a small one, you were going to give them a piece of your mind. It was something that your parents had taught you, so you would continue to do so.Â
You also hadnât failed to notice the bright red-heads. You assumptions about them -when you first saw them at the platform- were right. A loving and caring aura hung to all of them. For some reason they just warmed your heart. But a specific set of twins had caught most of your attention. They were charming guys, always made people laugh and even took care of the younger ones. They also shared the same mischievous twinkle in their eyes whenever they got excited about their pranks or other passions. Besides, they were also extremely attractive, so you couldnât blame yourself when you started to develop some silly crush on one of them.Â
It was strange to form a crush on a person who you rarely had talked to. They were in your year, so you had the occasional small talk. You also had told them off a couple of times for pranking some poor student. But besides those moments, you never really had a long interaction with them. And for whatever reason, your crush had started to evolve into feelings. He had found a way to make your heartbeat quicken without actually having to interact with you. He had found a way to captivate your attention.Â
You had tried to push away your feelings, but they just grew more and more by each passing day. You started to adore his little freckles, started to love how the sun created a honey glow in his eyes whenever it hit the right angle. To be frankly honest, you were smitten for him. But you werenât going to admit that. Seen their reputation as the most famous pranksters of the school - who had all the girls and boys crushing on them- nothing would ever happen. Besides, they didnât particularly hate on Slytherins, but they surely didnât liked them either. They still had their assumptions about them. They probably thought all of you were cold-hearted spoiled children who only cared about blood status and wealth. They perhaps thought that about you. But you werenât sure. They had seen you defend a lot of people, even if you were not aware of their presence whenever you stood up for someone. You surely werenât afraid to start a fight, if it was necessary in order to protect and defend someone. That was how you and Draco had became friends. And unknown to you, also the time that you truly had captured Fredâs attention.Â
Dracoâs parents were familiar with yours. You had attended to the same balls, but only acted civil to each other as an act. Your parents saw them as idiotic people who had their heads too far up their arses. While his thought that yours were naive and blood traitors. That they were a shame for the Wizarding World and were abusing their power for the wrong deeds. So when you and Draco attended Hogwarts and ended up in the same house, you hated his absolute guts. With every chance that you got, you were there to tell him off for discriminating and bullying other students until they cried. At first you had tried to keep it respectful, as you parents taught you that vile words werenât going to bring you anywhere. It would only show a weakness. But after months of constantly telling him off in a respectful manner, you had enough of his behavior. So you started to taunt him as well, let him taste his own poisonous medicine.Â
But one day, you saw him cornering a poor first year against the wall. He was taunting him with horrible names and threatening him. The poor guy was silently sobbing, cold tears streaming down his cheeks. At that point you were filled with rage and disgust. Steam was probably coming out of your ears. You didnât care who saw you in that moment. It could have been the whole school or only you, Draco and the poor first year; you felt obligated to jump in. Without any hesitation, you hit Draco square in the face. Your fist had made contact with his nose, that caused it to bleed on his pearly with dress-shirt. He stumbled back a bit, feeling dizzy from the impact of your harsh punch. As he looked up to you, he was met with one of your coldest, most murderess glare. You warned him with a venomous threat and softly pulled the first year to a more quiet place. You sat him down on a bench and took your time to calm him down. It didnât matter if it took a hour or half a day, you were only going to leave as he had a smile adorning his face.Â
Ever since that enounter, Draco had found a soft spot for you. You had awakened something in him. Slowly but surly he started to see through his own arrogance. He still believed the blood status ideology that he grew up with, but started to lessen his use of slurs and bully less. He still was a cold-hearted person to others, but you got to see his caring side. You could say that you were a good influence on him. The truth is, Draco doesnât need someone who agrees with him all the time. He doesnât want someone to constantly follow him like a dog begging him for attention. He loved when someone dared to talk back, when someone put him in his place. He thrives for that rebellious behavior that he couldnât out at home. He wanted to be challenged. Thatâs why he preferred you over any other Slytherin. Thatâs also why he despises Pansy Parkinson. But of course, she didnât took that hint.Â

As your birthday arrived, you became more sad. For most people birthdays were a happy event, but to you it was a reminder of your grandmother passing away. She had died four years ago, just a day before your birthday. Ever since then, your birthday had never been the same. It was weird to celebrate it without her and her freshly baked cookies. She was like a second mother to you. Seen how busy your parents jobs were, you often were at her place. Her death had been heartbreaking to you. But you knew she was in a better place. She has been reunited with her husband who had passed away 5 years before her. That is what gave you some peace with the whole ordeal.
When you left your dorm, dreading the day, you were met by a small box that stood at the bottom of the door. A small card hung from the ribbon, your name neatly written on it. You hesitantly picked up the present, hiding it underneath your bed. You werenât in the mood to open presents, maybe later on. But for now, you just needed to survive the birthday wishes. You rather just sleep all day so you wouldnât need to portray a happier version of yourself. A version that people were expecting from you on this so called âspecial dayâ.Â
You quickly passed through the Common Room, relieved to only see a small group of students who luckily didnât bother to congratulate you for your birthday. You smiled sweetly at them, receiving small nods in return. Before you made your way to the Great Hall, you were greeted by Draco with a warm hug. He whispered a soft âHappy Birthdayâ in your ear so no one would overhear him. He knew how you felt about your birthday. He knew not to pull any unwanted attention on you. You thanked him and continued your way to the breakfast table. You smelled the delicious food, but even that couldnât make you hungry. You just sat at the silence part of the table, blankly staring in front of yourself. But Draco wouldnât allow you to go on your day without any food. So he kindly placed an apple and a small piece of toast on your plate. He also filled your cup with a relaxing tea, that would hopefully calm down your emotions. âJust try to eat a bit of the toast. You can take the apple for later on the dayâ, He said in a soft and caring tone, while lightly bumping your shoulder to shake you out of your trance. The smallest bit of a smile curled the corners of your lips. It was endearing to see how caring he could be. Deep down he had a golden heart, he just hid behind his pretentious act as a cold-hearted bully in order to protect his emotions. In some way he hated to be cruel, but he didnât know how else to behave. He father always taught him to be cold and emotionless in order to be even slightly accepted by him. Draco just wanted acceptance. He just wanted to feel loved. So when he felt the opposite, he created this persona to hide behind.Â
With difficulty, you finished your piece of toast and cup of tea. You knew you had to eat, but the sadness had put a big lump in your throat that didnât allow anything to go through - or at least made it way more difficult. You placed the apple in your bag, knowing that hunger would eventually take over. As you stood up, you softly placed a kiss to the top of Dracoâs head while you slung one arm around his shoulders. âIâm going to head back to my Dorm Room. I donât feel that great... Thank youâ, you said before straightening up completely. He gave you a sympathetic smile.Â
You just made your way out of the Great Hall, as you heard soft footsteps following you. A larger hand placed itself on your shoulder and the familiar minty sent filled your nose. You turned around with an arched eyebrow, questioning his sudden appearance. âI forgot somethingâ, he looked around him. Once he made sure that no one was around, he pulled out a small present form his bag. A lopsided smile covered his face: âI know how you feel about your birthday, but I couldnât resist..â With your current emotional state, you couldnât help but feel tears stinging at the rim of your eyes. âYour really shouldnât have done thatâ, a faint smile took over your exhausted expression. He huffed at your comment as he pushed the present in your hands. âOpen it before anyone sees itâ, he teased light-heartedly. Your curiosity won, eagerly undoing the present of its beautiful green wrapping paper. A small gasp escaped your lips as your eyes widened. In your hands laid the book that you wanted to buy three months ago. You really wanted it. But seen that you had plenty of unread books laying on your nightstand, you made a promise to yourself to first go through the pile of books before you were allowed to buy new ones. But thanks to Draco, you finally had the desired book in your possession. You pulled him in for a long hug. âThank you so much, Draco.â He wore a proud smile on his face: âI remembered how badly you wanted the book, so I thought it would make the perfect gift.â You nodded happily: âYes. It really is perfect. Thank you so much.â You gave him a small peck on his cheek, while he kissed your forehead. After that, you both said your goodbyes and went separate ways. Even if this day had become your most hated day, he had found a way to make it less sufferable.Â
--
You laid comfortably in bed while reading the first chapter of your new book. You were so excited to finally have it in your possession that you couldnât resist reading it. You technically hadnât broke your promise. You didnât buy this book yourself, it was a gift. So it was just one of the many books that you still had to read. After finishing the first chapter, your eyelids became heavy and they stung lightly. A little nap wouldnât hurt. So you placed your bookmark between the pages and carefully placed the book on top of the growing pile on your nightstand. You thought you would rest for roughly half an hour, how most of your naps went. But to your surprise, you woke up 4 hours later. You felt less dreadful than when you first had woken up this morning. You sat up in your bed, still feeling the daze of sleep lingering in your eyes and mind. The room was filled with a yellow glow of the warm sun rays peeking through the window. The soft light warmed up your skin, making a content feeling spread all over your body.Â
As you looked around the room and your eyes landed on the newly gifted book, you were reminded of the mystery present that was currently hiding underneath your bed. Your curiosity already started nipping at you, begging you to open it as soon as possible. So you caved in. You carefully undid the red ribbon and unwrapped the burned orange wrapping paper. Inside the box sat a small notebook with no further indication of an identification on it. But to your surprise the small book was filled with written letters that were directed towards you. With big eyes, you started to read the first note that had been scrabbled on the first page in a neatly written handwriting.Â
Dear (Y/N)
If you received this present, it means that I finally found the courage to give it to you. It has been sitting in my closet for years now, but back then it was still a work in process. For the last two years it just has been my lack of courage...
This may seem like a surprise to you. But imagine how big of a surprise it was for me when I realized I had fallen quite hard for you- a girl that I barely spoken to. If Iâm being frankly honest, Iâm absolutely smitten for you. But that wasnât the surprising part. The fact of how long it took me to admit it, was the real surprise. Courage always had been my strong suit, but when you captivated my attention; it all seemed to crumble. Â
I understand if you want to make fun of me for this, or even want to yell at me. Feel free to do so. The supposedly brave Fred Weasley - great prankster of the school who canât take anything serious- has taking his feelings a bit too serious. But I felt obligated to let you know how i feel, before we would graduate. What you do with this information and this notebook is up to you.
I hope I at least made a smile appear on your beautiful face.
Sincerely Fred Weasley
You couldnât believe what you were reading. The overly confident Fred Weasley suddenly showed his vulnerable side to you. Even more so, he trusted you enough to give you the evidence of his vulnerability. He somewhere knew that you wouldnât use this information to your advantage. Even if he stated you were allowed to do so, he had to know that you werenât like that. But that made you wonder, how did he know? Was it just a wild guess, or did he actually noticed you?
You mind was filled with questions, blooming curiosity coursing through your veins. This book filled with mysterious messages to you, was way more valuable than any present could be. It held so much meaning. If you were being honest it even made you tear up. You were already in an emotional state, but the negative emotions had vanished. The tears were from pure happiness. All of sudden your emotions had revealed their actual depth.
With teary eyes and quickly beating heart, you continued to read some of the notes that Fred had written. It were little moments where he admired you, where he wrote down his feelings and thoughts. Moments of you in the library and in class where you just did daily tasks. But to your surprise there were also moments of you described where you stood up for others, where you comforted the victims of someoneâs bullying. He wrote how fascinated he was by your courage, how beautiful your mindset was and how kind-hearted your soul was. All these notes made you feel extremely loved and appreciated. And the feeling was caused by no other than your own goddamn crush. Someone who you thought would never feel the same way about you. Someone who you thought would never take notice of you. But it turned out, that he was the person who had taken a big interest in you, that you had captured a lot of his attention. He noticed little details about yourself, that even you nor anyone else had seemed to notice - or at least had never mentioned to you. It all seemed so unreal. It seemed like a dream that you never wanted to wake up from. You would take to him later on. You needed confirmation that this was true and not a prank or a dream. You needed to know what he was expecting from this and if he still felt those emotions.Â
âUmbridge is looking for youâ, Dracoâs voice broke through the silence that had filled your room with a comfortable atmosphere. Your head rapidly spun to the source of the shaking voice. You were met with a very concerned looking Draco, who was panting lightly against your closed door. He probably had ran here, in order to warn you in time. âWhy?â, you asked confused. Before you made your way over to him, you hid the notebook underneath your pillow. âYou missed all your classesâ, he stated matter of factly. âSo?â, you raised your eyebrow, your confusion only growing. âAll of Umbridgeâs classesâ, he corrected himself, now phrasing the sentence in clear words. He was more concerned than you, his breathes becoming shallower by the minute. In a comforting manner, you placed your hands on his shoulders and reminded him to concentrate on his breathing. âItâll be alright. What is she going to do?â, you spoke amused, after you made sure that his breathing returned normal again. âProbably going to give me one of her detentions. As if that scares meâ, you huffed as you kicked some invisible dirt. That pink toad didnât intimidate you one bit. You easily could hold power over her, she just didnât know it yet.Â
Umbridge detested your parents. She found their morals idiotic and naive. She found them a disgrace to the Wizarding world. She shared the same opinion as the Malfoy family. That they were a bunch of blood traitors that were abusing their power for the wrong deeds. That they were the reason that the Wizarding World was going to end in a huge disaster. Because of her growing hate towards your family, she also detested you. But she couldnât do anything against you or your family. She would have loved to use you as her little poppet that tests out her vile punishments, but nor you nor your family would let that happen. You were sick of watching her torment the whole school for almost a year. You were thrilled to finally be able to break her bubble and reveal the harsh truth to her. You could easily ruin her whole career, her whole life even.Â
âWell, sort of yeah. She has also has gathered a crowd of students, saying that she will set an example for everyone who doesnât obey her orders.â Draco held his head low, knowing that he couldnât do anything to stop this madness from happening. But as he looked back up, he noticed your bright smile and the mischievous twinkles shining in your eyes. He knew what you were up to. âYouâre going to reveal your true self, arenât you?â, he asked with a raised eyebrow.Â
Draco had been one of the first who found out about your true identity. You expected that information to spread like a wild fire. However, it never happened. He seemed to keep your secret to himself. You hadnât even asked him to do so. Of course, he did use the information against you to taunt you. He thought it was a weakness. That your parents were ashamed of you and therefore made you change your name and appearance. But eventually he started to understand why your family had created this plan. Because of his family name, people assumed all kind of things about him without actually checking their facts. People didnât want to befriend him or were rude to him, just because of his name. In all honesty, a big part was also because of him being a total arse. Despite your differences he respected your secret, even if he taunted you about it in the past. If he did so, he always had made sure that no one was around to hear him.Â
âYepâ, you nodded your head excitedly, âSheâs in for a big surpriseâ. As you spoke the last part of your sentence, your eyes shone even brighter from mischief. You couldnât hide your excitement any longer. You were ready to shock her to her core. She detested your parents, but she was terrified of them. They could ruin a personâs life within seconds, but never abused that power. They didnât liked to go into extreme matters. They always tried to go for another option first.Â
You walked out of the Common room with your head held high and a straight back. You were going to end that pink toad. As you turned the corner, you were met with a big crowd of students as Umbridge stood in the middle of them. She stood next to a desk while she held her âspecialâ quill in her hand. Your eyes roamed over the group of people, being met by a set of red-headed twins. They both had concerned expression, but Fred was in a worse state than his brother. You smiled at him, trying to ease his nerves with a small wave. As you were about to mouth âitâs alrightâ, Umbridge disturbed your view. âOh, so the girl finally decided to show her faceâ, she said with her high-pitched voice that was lingered in fake sweetness. A tone of voice that made you want to rip out your ears. When she stepped closer to you, the clacking of her heels only annoyed your further. As she stood in front of you, she spoke in a harsher tone: âSit down, now!â She was able to scare some students, but you stayed unimpressed by her little act.Â
You decided to obey her stupid order, just wanting to get this over with. âWhat stupid line do I need to write for âYour highnessâ, you looked her straight in the eyes as you spoke, rolling them at the end of your sentence. You saw how she balled her fists and clenched her jaw, trying to stop herself from strangling you in the middle of the hallway. You greeted her angered expression with a proud grin. You knew exactly how to get under her skin. âI shall not disrespect the rules nor the headmistressâ, she said with a forced tone that needed to hide her anger. She had to keep up this pretentious act. She couldnât cave in because of some foolish student who disobeyed her. You gave her another eyeroll, clearly showing your boredom.Â
âYou canât do thatâ, a familiar male voice spoke up from the crowd. The voice belonged to Fred Weasley. He and his twin were all too familiar with her punishments. He didnât want you to go through the same pain. A similar pain that many other students had to undergo themselves. But he knew that this punishment was going to hurt way worse. This was supposed to teach everyone a lesson. It was a warning.Â
Luckily for you, gave his little disturbance enough time to mumble a quick spell that would prevent you from scarring or feeling any pain. The wound would show up, but your skin would return to normal in a couple of days. Your parents had taught you plenty of tricks that were similar to this one. They had tried to prepare you for the harsh reality that the Wizarding World could be. They had been tortured in their past. People wanted information from them, seen that they were in a high ranking position. They knew that you possibly could go through the same troubles as them. Therefore they wanted to share their knowledge with you, hoping that you would never need to use it.Â
âYou donât tell me what I canât do or can do, mister Weasleyâ, her screeching voice filled your ears, making your scrunch up your nose in slight pain. She was offended by his comment. She couldnât tolerate anyone talking back to her, seen that her ego and pride already were bruised by you. âYou will be joining her-â, you rudely cut her off with the most monotone voice you had to show her how unimpressed you were. You showed no emotions, only pure boredom. âNo, he will not.â You snatched the quill from her hand, twirling it around in a challenging manner. âDo I get a parchment? Or do I need to write it on my arm?â As she turned to face you, a smug grin was plastered on her face. âActually, yes. Write it on your arm, that way it will sink in betterâ, the last bit was dripping with vileness. Her eyes had darkened form the hatred that had been growing inside of her. âWhatever you want, âyour highnessââ, the call-name was dripping with sarcasm.Â
You wrote âScrew you!-Doleres Umbridgeâs doingâ on your arm with an emotionless face. You just knew how furious her expression must be as she couldnât detect any sign of pain on your face. As you finished your sentence, you slammed the quill down on the desk with such a force that you nearly broke it. You stood up from your seat with abrupt movements, making the chair fall to the ground. You walked to the other side of the desk, resting your wait against it with your lower back. When she got a view of the writing on your arm, her face turned a bright red from the anger that had started to boil furiously. âHappy now?â, you asked with a snarl while a fake smile curled your lips for a few seconds before your cold expression returned. She rushed over to you at a rapid speed, but you didnât flinch. Her face was mere centimeters away from yours. You could smell her flowery perfume and felt her breath fan against your skin. It gave you an unpleasant shiver that you needed to suppress from crawling over your spine. âHow dare you! You- You -YOU...â she pointed a daring finger at you, while trying to calm herself down for the umpteenth time in the past 5 minutes. No one had ever disrespected her that much. She could kill you right now. It didnât matter who saw her, she was beyond furious. âYouâll regret this!!â
You couldnât stop the laughter form leaving your throat, your falter slowly fading. The fun was about to begin. âI donât think I will regret thisâ, you said amusingly, âIn contrary, I love every bit of itâ Once again the mischievous sparkle in your eyes shone brighter than ever before. If it were possible steam would be coming out of her ears and nose. She was fuming. âListen up, you snotty brat-â, you interrupted her little speech, already knowing what she would say. âWhat? Are you going to call my parents? Boohooâ, you were mocking her. She was about to explode, but had to done down her voice. âBet your arse I will!! Your life will be over!â You laughed at her comment. She was digger her own hole deeper and deeper. You just had to give the smallest push and it would be over. âOh yeah? Do Itâ, you challenged her as you neared her face so your noses were nearly touching. You stood over her just the smallest bit. âI dare youâ, with that last part said, you leaned back on the desk that stood behind you.Â
When she opened her mouth to say something back, you allowed yourself to change back to your original appearance. The features that you had missed all these years, were finally taking back their usual place. Your bright (Y/E/C) eyes shone brighter than the full moon on her best display, the mischievous twinkles dancing like little stars. The white lock of hair contrasted nice against your velvety (Y/H/C) locks. Your hair accentuating your facial features and the natural glow of your skin, making you seem all the more powerful. A wicked grin plastered on your lips, curling the corners impossibly high while little crinkles formed at the corners of your eyes.Â
The stunned expression on her face was worth the while. Some students were shocked as well, but they didnât matter in this moment. This battle was between you and the pink toad. You almost won. She was already falling in the hole that she dug herself all these months. You just needed to make sure that she was going to hit the bottom. âHello, Dolores. It was about time that we met againâ, you grinned, sitting proudly on top of the desk as you nonchalantly swirled the quill between your fingers. A dreadful expression danced on her frozen face, giving the extra boost that you needed. âIâm sure the Ministry wonât be pleased to hear what you are doing behind their back. Surely not when I tell them of your usage of the Black quill, which is by the way against the laws. Therefore your punishments are illegal. Iâm sure they wonât tolerate such actions.â The words easily slipped through your lips. You waved the quill in front of her face as an intimidating act that also needed to mock her.Â
She no longer answered back. Her pride had been buried long ago. Everyone knew that you had won, even the thick-headed toad knew. âChoose your next move carefullyâ, you darkened your eyes to scare her even further, âI could also tell the Ministry about the real reason behind your absences of their meetings. If the first part didnât angered them enough, Iâm sure the second part will.â You paused your speech, analyzing her poster. She still stood in her frozen up position. Her shoulders were sloughing low, her knees were slightly bent and her face clearly showed how petrified she was. You had backed her up into a corner that she couldnât escape from. She had no other choose but to act dismissive towards you. Even if she hated you terribly, you had a lot of power even if you were only 18 year old.Â
âI advice you to go back to your office, change things to how they were before and get the hell out of here... If I play my cards right, I could get you killed. So donât tempt meâ, the grin had vanished from your face. You were staring her down with you coldest expression, showing how serious you were about this. You hated to use your parents name for things like this, but you couldnât find another way to stop this vile woman from manipulating and torturing students behind the back of the Ministry. This had to be done, even if you hated to use their power to your advantage. Â
As you had said the last part and Umbridge didnât show any sign of a possible reply, you pushed your way through the crowd. You hate being put on the spot, even if it was unavoidable. It made you anxious, you just became a master at hiding it. As you left the group, Umbridge seemed to snap out of her frozen state. The shock and fright had turned into pure rage and embarrassment. âLEAVE! ALL OF YOU! GET OUT OF MY BLOODY SIGHT!â, you heard her yell behind you. The students burst out into laughter and chatter, each going their own way. Some students who passed by tried to congratulate you on defeating that horrible monster, but you shook them off with a small smile. It wasnât something you were particularly proud off. Even if it was a deserved punishment for her, you still had used your parentsâ position to your advantage.Â
You needed to calm down. You needed some time to put your thoughts back in place and make peace with what just had happened. Anger still pumped through your veins, as anxiety and guilt started to mix in. You were proud of putting that monster in her place. But you hated how you had used your parents name to do so. With racing thoughts you made your way over to the Black Lake, its calmness alluring you. The sight always made you feel at peace. The sun hit the water perfectly, making it seem like bright little stars were floating on top of it. The warm glow that had fallen onto the Hogwarts grounds, made the grass greener and brighter. You stood against the tree as you inhaled the fresh air, allowing your lungs to fill themselves. You closed your eyes as you put your focus on your other senses. You heard the soft breeze whistling in your ear and picked up the songs that were sang by some far away birds. The cooling spring breeze felt pleasant against your heated skin, as it also softly began to play with your hair. It gave you all different sorts of calmness.
Even with your focus on your surroundings, you had failed to notice that Fred had made his way over to you and currently was standing next to you. His worried eyes examined your body for a sign that said that he shouldnât interrupt you. But his autopilot took over. A small âheyâ left his lips before he could stop it. Hopefully he hadnât frightened you with the sudden announcement of his presence. Your eyes shot open upon hearing the soft sound while you pushed yourself away from the tree with the foot that was resting against it. âOh, hiâ, you breathed out, having difficulty concentrating on properly stating the words due to how distracting and foggy your mind was. âAre you alright?â, he asked sincere, worry clearly visible in his eyes. âI will be. Donât worry your pretty head about itâ, the words easily rolled off your tongue. If you had paid more attention, you could have seen the light blush painting Fredâs cheeks.Â
He tried to push away the flustered feeling, knowing that those words probably didnât meant as much to you as it meant to him. He should be focussing on your wellbeing. âAre-are you sure?â, he stammered out, stumbling over his words. You felt his eyes focus on your arm, knowing what he was referring to. âYeah, Donât worry. Thanks to the spell that my parents taught me, will my arm be back to normal in no timeâ, you paused for a few second, unsure about your next words. âItâs just... I- I am not proud of what I, uhm.. did back, uhm.. thereâ, you struggled to get the words out as the lump had closed off your throat again. You held your head low as your eyes were concentrating on the ground. They seemingly had found something extremely interesting about the grass. âWhy not?â, his voice was soft but had a hint of confusion in it, âIt was bloody brilliant. Someone finally had the guts to put that disgusting pink toad in her place.
You felt his gaze burning holes through your soul, but you still didnât dare to look at him. âI- Itâs that, uhm..â, with a sigh you let yourself slide down against the tree. Your hands covered your face, as your knees tugged themselves to your chest. You breathed in a couple of deep breaths. After half a minute, you felt Fredâs hands against your skin. He softly took your hands away from your face and continued to hold them in his. âTake your time. Iâm not going anywhere, unless you want me to. Iâll wait until youâre ready to tell me what is bothering you.â Your heart fluttered at his words. He always held on this confident and cocky persona that took everything as a joke. But often his deeply caring character shows through. An inherited characteristic that he shared with his whole family.Â
âItâs just... I donât like using my parents name to make a point. It doesnât matter whether they are from a high ranking or not. It just feels wrong to use such a materialistic thing in my advantage. It feels like I was abusing their power.. But I- i didnât know.. what else to doâ, you mumbled on, your train of thoughts streaming out in soft, unsure words. Your eyes were trained on your hands as you softly fumbled with his fingers in an attempt to calm down your nerves. Therefore you were unaware of the adoring smile that covered Fredâs face as his eyes took in your soft and innocent features.Â
You were truly a beautiful person, both on the inside and outside. No one could ignore your beauty. You were breathtakingly gorgeous. Surely now that your true features were revealed. He always had been curious of what you really looked like. It shouldnât had been a surprise that he knew about your hidden identity. First of all, he wasnât daft. Second of all, his dad never stopped talking about your family. He had described you in such a way that convinced him that you were an amazing person. Throughout his Hogwarts years, you hadnât disappointed his expectations. You had overdone them. You were extremely beautiful, even if it was only a vague resemblance of your true self. Now you were even more breathtaking to him. But besides your beauty, you had also a wonderful mindset. He loved how you viewed the world, how you came up for your believes and confronted people about their wrongdoings. He was fascinated by your courageousness. Not many people were prepared to physically fight to get a point across. Most people hid behind pathetic insults and empty threats. He also loved how caring and passionated you were. You always comforted the people who had been victimized by someoneâs wrongdoing, not leaving their side until they had a smile on their face. You always tried to help people with their studies and showed nothing more than pure affection to others. To put it shortly: Heâs absolutely smitten for you.Â
âYou have a beautiful mind, darlingâ, his calming voice filled you with a specific warmth that spread sparkles all over your body. He let go of on of your hand, so he could cup your cheek. He softly caressed the skin with the pad of his thumb as he lightly lifted your head upwards to meet his gaze. âYou havenât abused your parents power. Not even close. You did the right thing and Iâm sure theyâll be very proud of you.â A smile curled the corners of your lips upwards. Fred was good with words. He always seemed to know the right words to say. With just couple of words he managed to decrease your worries and guilt. âThank you.â His eyes were looking at you with total adoration. It made you want to shy away from his intense gaze, but you didnât. This was everything you wanted, even if it still felt unreal.Â
âI just stated the truth, darlingâ, he spoke in a nonchalant manner. The pet name making your heart flutter even more. After a small pause of silence, he said something that confused you. âBut I should thank you and your parents too.â He chuckled lightly as he saw your eyebrows knitted together while you slightly tilted your head to the side. âThey defended my father plenty of times, and you always kept him company at his work.â You ducked your head down as you lightly bit your lower lip. To you those actions were a normal thing to do where you didnât need to think twice about it.Â
âHe told me a lot about you. He never shuts up about you. In all honesty, I think he loves you more than his own childrenâ, he laughed. His beautiful laughter was so contagious that you couldnât stop your laughter from bubbling in the air. âIf it makes you feel any better, he never stopped talking about you guys. He always tells me stories about his family that clearly shows his love and endearment for you.â Once again his contagious laugh filled your ears as his head tilted back lightly. If his weight wasnât supported by his hands - that stood beside him- you were sure he wouldâve fallen on his back. But it was a beautiful sigh to see. The sun made his hair look even brighter, like an orange fire burning on the top of his head. His freckles were dotted around his nose, as if small specks of brown had escaped his eyes.Â
You had to admit, you missed his warm touch. But the close proximity made up for it. âThatâs exactly how he talks about you... I guess he sees you as a part of our familyâ, he spoke in a joking tone, but his eyes held a certain seriousness to them. Your cheeks painted themselves a bright red, surprising you with how flustered you felt all of sudden. Him implying such a thing made your heart go crazy. With a burst of confidence that came from deep down, you decided to take a leap in the dark. âMaybe, I- I could be a part of your family.. in some wayâ, you suggested, shyly glancing up at him to observe his reaction. Luckily he picked up on where you were going. âMaybe you could be yeahâ, he smirked a smug smile, âIf you want to at least.â You nodded your head shyly as a smile spread itself on your face. He tapped your leg with his foot in a teasing manner: âMaybe we could discuss the details this Saterday at Hogsmeade?â Your blush increased while your smile brightened. âSounds perfect to me. Weâll meet here after class.â He smiled and held out his hand: âItâs a deal.â You shook hands like you were business people stepping into a partnership.
You expected him to let go of your hand, but instead he pulled you closer to his chest. You laughed as he wrapped his arms around you in a warm embrace, you doing the same to him. His sweet sent infiltrated your nose, calming down your racing heart. He had a special way to make your heart hammer against your chest like a mad man, but at the same time also had a very calming effect on you. The hug was longer than just a friendly manner, but you could say that you were already past that state. As you pulled away, both of you wore idiotically bright smiles on your faces while your reddened cheeks matched his bright hair. âI canât waitâ, he said, while helping you up. âMe neitherâ, you blushed as you slammed against his chest again by the strong force he used to pull you up to your feet. You both chuckled. This seemed like a great start to some amazing new beginnings.Â
Summary:Â There was no hiding that Remus was a werewolf, surely not to someone who was one too. Through this curse he found a good friend, maybe even lover

Authorâs note: This is the last part is here, very long as always. My apologies for posting this so late, but my wifi was down for a whole week. Anyway I hope you like it! xx
As a precaution you had tried to minimize your interactions with Remus for the following days. You didnât know how your feelings were going to react to seeing him again after that particular night. You had no idea what talking to him or having any type of interaction with him, would do to you. You wanted to make sure you werenât going to be thrown off balance again, so you decided to slowly test out the waters. On the first day of your return, Remus had approached you as soon as he caught sight of you. As caring as he always was, he asked you if you were alright and where you had been. His concern was clear as day, not even trying to hide it. But you brushed him off. You quickly told him about your wolf being too active and needing another run. That you were too energized to attend class without being a huge distraction to anyone else. It wasnât a lie, you just had let out a lot of details. Like almost all details and important parts of the story. None the less, he accepted it. So you took it as your cue to leave his side as soon as you could. You were too scared that your feelings would suffocate you again. That the soul-crushing feeling would take you down in a matter of seconds.Â
Each time you interacted with him, you were just focussed on not getting hit with those strong emotions. To not cave under the huge weight. You were so occupied with them, that you werenât present in the moments. Your surroundings blurred and your mind overtook everything. After three days of absentmindedly living your life, you could say for sure that your feelings were going to stay in place. They werenât going to throw you off balance. Even if they tried to do so, you would be able to handle them. You were going to be able to control them. You had been worrying about nothing. So after those foggy days of a blurry mind and absentmindedly hanging out with Remus; things slowly went back to normal.
The new moon was approaching and you became more exhausted with each passing day, while Remus began to feel more energized. In those aspects you were polar opposites. Seeing your different changes became extremely normal that the boys didnât question it anymore. Or at least three of them didnât. James liked to question it every now and then. As he did today.Â
Remus had been pacing a hole into the floor while nagging to do something more active. He was unable to stand still for just a moment, feeling the energy and adrenaline pumping through his veins. The sound of his bare feet making contact with the wooden floor, slowly but surely got on your nerves. Your heightened senses were out of control with the new moon only being two days from now. You could hear every little sound and smell every little scent in the boys room. You could hear the soft mumbles leaving James mouth as he was reading a book about Quidditch. You heard all three heartbeats, all beating in unharmonized rhythms. The strong scent of Remus filled your nose, seen that you were laid in his bed with his soft comforter engulfing you in an enjoyable warmth. Every time he passed the bed, his scent became stronger as your nose caught an extra whiff of it. You also could pick up Jamesâ parfum scent mixed with a hint of sweat.Â
The amount of smells made you nauseous and the combination of all the sounds made your head pound from the growing headache. Remusâ soft stomps against the floor was just one of the many things on your list that got on your nerves. It was just that extra bit that would make you snap - if you werenât so exhausted. But apparently you werenât the only one bothered by his ongoing pacing. James saw a vague figure passing by every few seconds. He hadnât been paying much attention to it, seen that it only passed through the blurry parts of his view. But after a while he started to lose his interest in the book and grew curious and frustrated with the pacing boy. âMoony, mate. What the hell is wrong with you?â, he asked amused but annoyance clearly lingering in his voice. The statement temporarily halted Remusâ movements as he pondered over a reply. He was thinking over why he had this immense urge to keep moving, having this intense flood of energy drowning every fiber in his body. As he was overtaken by thoughts, he slowly started to pace again. Annoyed by the short time that he actually had been still, you answered for him. âItâs because of the New moon.â Your voice was muffled by the thick comforter covering you, but it had reached James ears. Sadly enough it hadnât satisfied his curious mind. âWell, then why are you so exhausted? Arenât you a wolf too?â, you groaned at his question - one he had asked for the umpteenth time. It was infuriating, none the less you still answered him.
âFor born wolfs the moon is a huge source of energy. On full moons she brings out our most natural state - being a wolf. So automatically she will charge me with an unbearably huge amount of adrenaline and energy, filling my wolf with a new found burst of life. On New moons the moon is absent, which also means the absence of our biggest energy source. As the moon can no longer fuel my wolf with energy, I will feel drained and exhausted.â You took a small pause, letting the words sink in Jamesâ brain. He nodded slowly while a confused expression still was plastered on his face, showing that he understood your words but didnât get the link with his best friendâs behavior. âThe moon has the opposite effect on Remusâ, you continued to say with the same muffled voice, as you didnât bother to move from your comfortable position. âFor him the moon isnât a source of energy, but of pain. Seen that he is a bitten wolf, the full moon forces him to switch to his least natural state. It forces his body to go through excruciating pain, draining him from all the energy he has. Seen that the New moon is just the absence of the moon, she also lack the ability to make him shift. She no longer awakens the wolf in him, no longer draining him from his energy. Therefore he feels this immense burst of adrenaline, this unbearable urge to keep moving.â
James was processing your words, nodding his head lightly. âWell, that makes senseâ, he mumbled more to himself, no longer pestering you with questions. Remus was still pacing the room, a light bounce in his steps. âMaybe we could go for a swim? Or for a run? We could explore the grounds of Hogwarts-â, he let out a string of ideas, freeing his nagging after being quiet for a few minutes - which was surprisingly long for him. Before you replied, you heard James sighed while you groaned. âUgh, Remusâ, you rolled on your back, rubbing your hands over your face. Your head was pounding with the huge headache that had formed hours ago. All you wanted was to sleep for a few hours, trying to rid yourself of the nauseating feeling. âWhat? Itâs just a suggestion...â, his voice was soft, a hint of sadness lingering in it. He sounded like a sad puppy who didnât got his way. âYeah, but youâve been making the same suggestion every few minutes.â Your reply silenced him for a bit, but his pacing never stopped. Meanwhile your little encounter, James had shut his book and placed it on his night table. He stood up and walked over to the door. âIâm going to search for Sirius. Hopefully he is more fun than you two. Good luck (Y/n/n)â, James said before closing the door behind him. A small chuckle left your mouth, but soon got exchanged for a groan as you heard Remusâ pleading voice again.Â
âWe could sneak off to Hogsmeade, or play hide and seek in the library...â, while he rambled on, he was nearing your side. You sat yourself up straight, readying yourself to grap his arm. âMaybe-â, Remus started to say, before he felt a small pull holding him back. He still moved a bit forwards till he no longer could - unless he pulled you off the bed completely. Your hand had slide down his arm, till you held his hand comfortably in your smaller one. He turned to you with excited eyes who sparkled with hope. âCanât we do those things after I had a nap?â, your voice was lingered with exhaustion, drowning out the pleading tone that wanted to show through. Your eyelids felt heavy, but none the less you trained your gaze on the tall boy in front of you. He absentmindedly traced small patterns with his thumb against the palm of your hand. The action was very calming, making your eyes flutter shut. But opened again as you heard a small whine: âWhy canât we do it now?â His big, innocent eyes were looking down at you while his features softened - a sight that had your knees weak and made your heart flutter. âBecauseâ, you dragged out the word, being annoyed with his behavior; âIf I donât get any sleep soon, I canât promise that I wonât rip your throat out and crush every bone in your body.â Your statement made him pout deeper, but he knew that you meant every word. You werenât afraid to show your dangerous side. You shook your head at him as you noticed that he was actually contemplating to take that risk. You let go of his warm hand while falling back on his bed. âJust give me an hour or two to rest. Then weâll do whatever you want.â You pulled the comforter back over you, craving the warmth it had provided you before.Â
After a few minutes of thinking to himself, he agreed with you. It really wasnât fair to you. To drag you out of bed for his own needs. You never did such a thing to him, so he wouldnât do such a thing to you. âThank youâ, you mumbled softly at him, your lips curling in a small smile as you tossed a bit to make yourself comfortable. You were preparing yourself to fall into a deep sleep, when you felt the mattress dip next to you. To your surprise Remus had climbed in next to you. Obviously it was his bed, so he could do whatever he wants. But you werenât expecting him to do such a thing. Usually when you took naps during the period of the New moon, he laid himself down on one of the Marauderâs their bed; waiting patiently till you woke up. None of the boys minded you taking naps in their room. They preferred it even, so none of the other students would start asking unnecessary questions.
At first Remus laid next to you on his back, making sure to leave some space between your bodies so he wouldnât touch you unwillingly. But when he saw you shiver lightly, he wrapped his strong arm carefully around your waist, turning himself a bit towards you in the process. He hoped his body warmth would heat you up a bit. When you moved closer to him, he tightened his grip lightly - using it as his sign that you were okay with him being this close to you. Your back rested comfortably against his chest. Your soft scent filled his nose, calming his rapidly beating heart. But the heat still rose to his cheeks, also painting his nose and ears with the light pink dust. Your small hand fell on top of his, intertwining your fingers. Your breathing was soft and steady, signaling that you were nearing a deep sleep. His body was radiating a comfortable warmth and calmness. It was the right remedy to fall asleep, but you were missing one thing to drift off completely. so in your foggy state of barely being awake, you turned yourself around in his comfortable grip. As an automatic response, he rolled onto his back, arms carefully curling you with him. Your head rested on the left side of his chest, while your left hand rested just under his chest. A soft hum left your lips as you heard the calming beats of his heart. It always worked as the perfect lullaby.Â
As you finally were off to your imaginary dreamland of your unconsciousness, Remus couldnât help but admire you. His eyes scanned over every detail of your face, adoring every little thing. With the hand that was wrapped around your waist, he drew small patters on your exposed skin - where your shirt had ridden up. He let his other hand brush through your silky hair, softly letting the locks go through his fingers. After staring at your sleeping figure for a few minutes - just adoring you - he felt like a creep. He couldnât just stare at you for however long you were going to sleep. That would be highly inappropriate. So to kill the time faster, he decided to read the book that was waiting for him on his night stand. He clumsily held the book in one hand, while his other arm was still wrapped around your waist. Hopefully the book would distract his clouded mind.
After half an hour of reading, Remus started to lose his concentration more drastically. He had glanced at you every now and then, just smiling to himself at how peaceful you looked. He could resist himself to not get lost into the content feeling you gave him, but after half an hour the urge had became too strong. His book was long forgotten, laying open on his night stand. He looked at you with the most loving eyes, totally unaware that two of his friends were entering the room. Sirius and James were chatting lightly to each other until they noticed you cuddled up on Remusâ bed. âSo, when are you going to admit that you are dating?â, James voice made Remus return to reality. He made signs to them to quiet down, all while glaring at his chuckling friends. âWeâre not dating! Weâre just friends!â, he whisper-shouted at them. His face glowing a soft red, but slowly increasing as they gave him knowing looks. âFriends donât act like that-â, James raised his eyebrow, a shit-eating grin on his face. âAnd surely donât look at each other as if the other is their entire universeâ, Sirius cut James off. Even if they both stood with their back towards Remus - taking some things they needed - the silence spook loud enough. He looked dumbfounded, stunned by the comment they had made. âShe- she doesnât look at- at me like.. thatâ, he stutter, falling over his words while also not realizing which hidden truth was behind them. James turned to him, grinning to Sirius as they shared a knowing look. âOhhâ, he sang teasingly, âSo you admit that youâre smitten for her?â The duo wiggled their eyebrows at him, while having shit-eating grins plastered on their faces. They chuckled as they saw Remus cheeks heat up even more. âNo - no... I - we- Weâre just friends. Donât fret over something that isnât thereâ, he replied with a snarl, glaring as they kept chuckling. âWhatever you want to believe, mateâ, Sirius said as he took whatever he needed and walked towards the door. James mimicked his actions. âThe truth will come out sooner or laterâ, he said before closing the door behind him, leaving Remus alone with his thoughts.Â
Fortunately you hadnât woken up during the whole ordeal. You still were sleeping peacefully on his chest while cuddling closely to his side. Your close proximity calmed him down the slightest bit, but also made his nerves increase. He didnât know what to do or think. James and Sirius were right about him being smitten for you. Ever since his first encounter with you he had formed these feelings, but you would never love him. For whatever reason that his mind forced him to believe, he couldnât accept that you would even be slightly interested in him. You always had this special bond with him; always had this special type of closeness. A bond that never felt awkward or weird. In contrary it even felt normal. He felt complete with you, felt his worries fade into oblivion when he was with you. When you started being more affectionate with each other and started kissing, he had created this fear of losing you. Subconsciously this fear was already brewing inside of him. But when your bond changed to a deeper level of closeness, he couldnât ignore that fear any longer. He was trying his best to act normal, not make a big deal out of his emotions. It all went so well, until previous full moon. You had shared a sweet and loving kiss - different than all the other ones you had before. He thought this would make the whole friendship different. It did, but not in the way he had hoped for. You had pulled back, leaving him by himself right after. In that moment his biggest fear had come crashing down on him. He had screwed it up. He had messed the friendship up and would lose you. The one kiss that had felt so pure and so sincere - where no wolf had seemed to interfered - had been the one that broke all things apart.
But the comments of his friends made him wonder. Did you really looked at him like that? Because he surely looked at you like you were his whole universe. You had captured his full attention. You had become something he couldnât live without. Like how humans couldnât live without air, how fish couldnât live without water, how life couldnât exist without the sun. You had become so important to him. He would try to keep you close, even if you were happy with someone else. He wanted you to be happy. Even if the bond was slowly turning into a relationship without an official label on it, he didnât want to keep his hopes high. He would just flow with whatever feels right to him, like you had taught him. To let go of his wandering mind and live in the moment. To let his wolf have some fun, while also being in control of the situation.Â
All the thinking had made him tired. Remus eyes slowly started to shut, drifting off himself. He didnât know how much time has passed, as he was woken up by your stirring. He blinked a couple of times to get adjusted to the bright light. One hand came to rub his yes, ridding himself off the last bit of sleep. As he looked at the clock on his night stand, he saw that already two hours had passed. He hadnât anticipated to sleep that long, but was glad he did. The headache was gone. He felt recharged, even if he already felt so energized before. He felt at peace with you still being cuddled up to his side. A sight he would love to wake up to every night. For the lasting time till you woke up, he tried to memorize every little detail of you. He would cherish this moment forever, willing to imprint it in his mind. He adored you beyond human possible.Â
After a few minutes, you started to wake up too. You had opened your eyes, but shut them quickly again as you felt the harsh light burning them. You slowly tried to open one eye, peaking around the room. The light was still harsh on your eyes, but they adjusted soon enough. You sat up straight to stretch out your arms, jawing a little in the process. You laid back down, missing the comfortable warmth that radiated off Remusâ chest. You rested your chin on it, facing him to greet him with a small âhiâ. âHello, loveâ, he greeted back, his voice low and slightly raspy. It was a sound that never failed to make you swoon. âHow did you sleepâ, he asked kindly, while you adjusted your position to one where you could properly talk to him. You sat in his lap, hands resting on his chest while he sat up more straight himself. âGoodâ, you mumbled quietly. You werenât fully registering the position you had placed yourself in. You were too entranced by the little details of his face. How the light hit him so perfectly, that gave him this angelic glow. His lovely green eyes were shimmering in the bright light, showcasing many colours for you to explore. A light yellow was swirling in the mix of soft greens and a small bit of brown freckled here and there. His eyes were a big soft spot for you. They could hold a loving gaze that screamed of passion. They reflected so much emotions and if you looked well enough, they became little windows to his soul. But only people who entranced by him could grant access to these secrets. You looked at his soft skin that was scattered with many scars. The light pink lines contrasted nicely against his slightly tanner skin. You also didnât miss how small freckles covered the surface of his nose, recreating a little starry night sky of their own. You loved how he always wore a soft smile on his lips, curling the lightest bit upwards. His soft lips that felt heavenly against yours. A feeling that you seemed to crave, as you absentmindedly seemed to lean in a bit closer.Â
You had lost yourself in the admiration that you held for this man that you failed to realize your own staring. Only when you saw his pupils widen the slightest bit, did it hit you. He must think that you were acting highly inappropriate. You looked down at your hands that had fallen into your lap. âUhm, .. yeahâ, you coughed awkwardly to rid yourself of the knot that had been forming in your throat. âWhat do you want to do? ...Now that I had my napâ, you asked shyly, reminding yourself of the promise you had made. âAs long as Iâm with you, Iâm goodâ, Remus replied smoothly, not minding to sit with you in bed for the rest of the day. You looked absolutely adorable. Your hair was a mess, your eyes shining brightly in the light, a small smile on your lips,... But what he loved the most was the pink dust that had painted your cheeks in the same shade as his. He adored how shy you could become. In some moments you had this cold, badass persona around you, scaring away most students. While other times you were the softest and most caring person he had ever stumbled upon.Â
âBut serious nowâ, you chuckled lightly at him, totally missing his underlying meaning. âWhat do you want to do? It could be anything youâd likeâ, you repeated your question. You still didnât look him in the eyes, or at least not for long. âAnything?â, he asked unsure, but a light hint of teasing lingering in his voice. You nodded at him, that adorable smile growing wider on your face. Remus had this special way of making you feel at peace in any situation. âOf course, anything youâd like. Whatever it is, I would happily do it.â That comment made him smile nervously. His tong came to wet his lips, something he did often when his nerves got the best of him but he didnât want to show it. You hadnât much time to question it, when his spoke the shocking words. âKiss meâ, they flowed boldly out of his mouth, while he looked deep into your eyes. One of his hand was still resting comfortably on your waist, tracing small patterns like always. You blinked rapidly, trying to register what he just said. Your ears must have picked up the wrong words. âBeg me pardon?â, you looked dumbfounded at him, your eyes staring deep into his. âKiss meâ, he repeated his question while a soft grin revealed itself on his lips. Your reaction was adorable. He took this as a good sign, hoping that he didnât just mess things up more. âLike how we did in the forestâ, he added, hoping that you would get the hint. That things would start to click inside of your pretty head. His heart was nearly beating out of his chest, but when he saw a smile appear on your face it seemed all worth it. âOhh, and what do you mean by that?â, you sang a bit teasingly to try and hide your nerves. You had an idea of where he was going to, but you wanted him to confirm it with clear, untwistable words. He took a deep breath, unsure if he should say his reasoning or not. âWhen we were in the forest... the kiss was - was different. I - I think we both felt it. My wolf hadnât interfered with it... It also filled me with a new strength and a - a desire that I never realized I had. I- I craved you in ways that- that couldnât be explained by my wolf side...â, he stuttered over his words, becoming a soft and rambling mess. A bright smile covered your face, grinning from eye to eye. It felt so surreal to you, to hear those words leave his mouth. A warm feeling spread inside of you like a wildfire burning down a forest in only a matter of seconds. You were burning, burning for him.
You didnât know how to respond back, didnât knew words that could compete with his. So instead of pondering over it, you decided to show your emotions in an other way. You cupped his cheeks with your small hands, caressing his soft skin with the pads of your thumbs. You looked deeply into his eyes, showcasing the love and passion you felt for him. You held it for as long as you could, before your insides pulled you closer to him. Seen that you were already sat in his lap, you didnât need to lean in much to close the gap. As soon as you captured his lips in a soft kiss, he froze the slightest bit. Remus hadnât expect to feel your warm touch this soon. Somewhere in his mind a voice was beating him up already. But feeling your soft lips against his, silenced everything. As the small shock fazed off, he pulled your flush against him. His hands held your waist tighter, scared that if he loosened his grip you would disappear. At the same time the kiss became more passionate. It wasnât fueled by the lust your wolfs provided, but by the pure love you felt for each other. By the strong feelings that had been brewing inside of you, that could finally escape and explode in the air. A heavenly feeling that was beyond this world.
Summary:Â There was no hiding that Remus was a werewolf, surely not to someone who was one too. Through this curse he found a good friend, maybe even lover

Authorâs note: As I promised @marimorena06Â , I tagged you. I hope you and everyone else loves to read this part. This part is already way longer than I had anticipated, so I will make a third part that will also be the final part.
Also my biggest apologies for posting this so late. I had a big dip in my mental health and didnât had the strength to write. But now after way to many re-writings my mind is fogged up, so enjoy! xx
The night you went skinny dipping with Remus in the Black lake was amazing. You had shared a passionated kiss filled with lust, that leaded into a headed make out session. Nothing more happened. You roamed each others body, feeling the others heavenly touches. But it didnât evolve into a steamy night. Not that neither of you wanted to do anything more. In contrary, your wolves were begging you to do so. You both were in an intoxicated trance where your instincts had gained full control. It was so close to being more than just a heated make out session, very close. But you decided it would be better to leave it at that. You werenât sure of your feelings. With your wolves screaming inside of you, you werenât convinced that anything serious could come out of that night. It had been very tempting, but you needed to have some time to think rationally about this all. Getting some time to think, while not being extremely intoxicated by Remusâ alluring scent and loving hands leaving hot trails over you body. Was acting in on your impulse worth it when your friendship might be at shot?
After that night Remus seemed to find a new side of him. A controlled but wilder side of him that he loved all the more. He had been more playful towards you, more than usually- which was almost constantly already. He agreed more quickly to your reckless plans that would most likely end up in a week of detention, or other troubles that he normally wouldnât engage himself in. Normally he would try to resist the urge of caving in at the sight of your pleading face. But now he found your ideas more and more appealing. It seemed like some new energy had captured him and spurred him on to try crossing the line with the risky path once in a while.
Of course, Remus continued being his sweet and caring self. Always making sure if you were alright, refusing to let anything bad happen to you. He still could be found most days in a hidden corner in the library being entranced by a good book. He still tutored students that had troubles with certain classes and kept up with his own work himself.Â
But every now and then it seemed like he allowed his wolf to take control for a bit. He still was the one in charge, but let his hand be guided by his instincts instead of relentless overthinking.
A couple of times you had managed to convince him to go out for a late night run over the wet grass. Those nights always ended up with you two laying closely together while watching the beautiful starry night sky that was companioned by the bright moon. You either saw her growing to the full moon, or shrinking away to a new moon. Whatever state the bright shining source of light was in, it didnât harm anyone to go for another quick swim. Remus seemed to agree with that statement, surprising you with his sudden boldness. Both of you ran into the cold water, chasing and teasing each other till you felt the familiar intoxicating sensation taking over your senses. Your lips were moving in sync with each other as you were sharing a breathtaking kiss, pulling each other closer - if that was even humanly possible. The kiss quickly turned into another steaming make out session that would satisfy your desires and keep your wolves sane. Events like these seemed to happen more and more often, not that you were complaining.Â
On the next full moon, You had been able to persuade Remus into agreeing to chase you through the Forbidden Forest. Your pouting lip and pleading eyes never failed you. He had been extremely worried that he would hurt you if he would let that side loose, but you knew how to calm his nerves and mind. Once all his worries were pushed to the bottom of his mind, you excitedly dragged him towards the forest. Your hands were intertwined, dangling softly from side to side as you ran to your destiny. You sat down against a tree at the entrance of the forest, waiting for the moon to make her beautiful appearance through the branches. Her bright shining form had you entranced. With big eyes you looked up to the sky, admiring every detail about her and her little friends that twinkled around her. Once you heard Remus grunt in pain as he transformed, were you dragged back into reality. Immediately a flow of guilt and sadness filled your body. Seeing him in pain was heartbreaking, but you knew that after this night it would be alright. You knew that running on your instincts for a while would make his wolf feel at ease, resulting in a quicker recovery and less drastic transformations on the next full moons. It had a lot of positive sides. Things that he would hopefully discover soon.
Without hesitating any longer, you shifted to your wolf-form as well, starting to lead him deeper into the forest. You ran slower at first, not knowing how well his body would react to this. Not knowing if he still would be in excruciating pain and only adding to it. It was different for every wolf, so you just had to find out by doing so. When you didnât sent as much pain in his heavenly sent, you took it as a sign that he would be alright. He would enjoy the run as much as you, finally being able to let his desires be wild and free. As you heard an exciting growl coming from the running figure behind you, you started to quicken your pace. Excitement filled your own body, spurring you on to run even faster. The adrenaline was going wild, but that made it all the more fun.Â
You had been running for hours. Sometimes he lunged forwards at you with one of his clawed paw, giving you a couple of cuts in the proces. But it was nothing serious that your wolf couldnât handle. His wolf had jumped on you, making the both of you roll around in the dirt as you fought for dominance. It was a playful fight, knowing well enough that the hierarchy stood strong. It came natural with being a wolf; you just knew. But you hoped to land on top, just so you could escape more easily to continue the run. You eventually landed on top, sighing happily that luck had been on your side. But as you looked down, you werenât met with a wolf. Instead there was a soft smiling face. His loving gaze trained upon you so he could take in every little detail. His hands had naturally fallen onto the bare skin of your waist, resting there comfortably. Meanwhile your hands were resting on his chest, feeling his hammering heart underneath your palm. The night had gone by faster than any of you had noticed, the moon already nearing behind the hills. The chilly morning wind blew on your naked skin, making goosebumps appear all over you. But you didnât bother to give any attention to the cold nipping at your soft skin. You were too focused on Remus. You were comfortably laid on top of him, his skin being flush against yours. You had expected to feel any sense of awkwardness, but were pleasantly surprised by how at peace you felt. How normal this position seemed to be.Â
As the wind blew a bit harsher, an involuntary shiver ran down your spine. Remus took that as his cue to pull you in even closer, in hopes to warm you up with the heat that was radiating from his body. The pads of his thumbs started to draw soft patterns on your skin. An action he often did absentmindedly. It lulled you even more into the dazed out state that was caused by the full moon, the intoxicating scent that strongly radiated off Remus, his soft touches that set your skin on fire and the odd satisfied feeling of your wolf being at ease for once. You were swooning on a high that was called Remus John Lupin. As an automatic reflex your face started to lean closer to his. You felt his warm breath fanning over your cheek; dusting them with a soft pink shade. Without registering what was going on, Remus closed the gap between you two. His slightly chapped lips touched your soft ones, slowly capturing them in a sweet kiss. It wasnât like any of the kissed you had shared before. Those were filled with passion and lust, while this one seemed sweet, innocent and pure. Your wolf didnât seem to interfere, unlike what you had expected. It was all your doing and for some reason that had awakened something in you. A sudden realization of what you were doing hit your harshly in the head.Â
You abruptly pulled away from him, mumbling a soft apology. You left a small peck on his cheek before you stood up. Before he could speak up, or even register what was going on, you had shifted back to your wolf-form. You knew well enough not to run around naked in the dark forest, surely not if you wanted to stay alive. You were running to the place where you had left an extra pair of clothes for Remus and you. They were safely hidden in the beginning of the forest. You tried to push your thoughts as far away as possible. You quickly pulled your clothes on and were about to make your way back so you could put this event behind you. Until the strongest smell hit you. All your thoughts came crashing down at once, leaving you crushed underneath the heavy weight. The sweater you wore, was the one Remus had previously been wearing before his shift. He said would do fine in just a shirt, so you could have his sweater. He adored it when you wore his clothes, even if he never would admit that to you.Â
Your mind was turning quicker than a tornado, destroying everything in its path. Your heart was hammering harshly against your chest, nearly jumping out of it. Your throat seemed to close itself up, making breathing all of the sudden a difficult task. The world softly started to spin, as a high pitched tone filled your ears. Your head started to become foggy, making you feel extremely out of touch with yourself. Everything had been thrown out of balance. You shook your head violently to rid yourself of the feeling, to give yourself a sense of reality. You dug your claws into your arm, leaving a small mark behind. But the sudden sense of pain, gave you some sort of control back. It brought you back into reality before you could faint from the overwhelming feeling that had engulfed you.Â
As you made your way back to Remus, he was sat awkwardly on the ground with his knees tugged to his chest while his strong arms were wrapped around them. You felt a familiar heat rushing to your face, leaving your cheeks and nose burning with a bright red shade that luckily wasnât noticeable due to the lack of light. âHereâ, your voice came out as a whisper. Inaudible for people who didnât had heightened hearing, but clear as day to Remus. You didnât dare to look him in the eye, you just handed him his clothes and turned your back to him. You stepped a few steps away, not too far - seen that the forbidden forest was never safe to travel through alone- but far enough so you wouldnât swoon even more on your high of his heavenly intoxicating scent that now came from two sources.Â
After a minute or two, a soft âthank youâ was spoken closely to your ear. A large hand rested upon the small of your back, as Remus made his presence known. Without controlling it, you jumped at his soft touch that gave you an odd tingling sensation. âAre you okay?â, he asked with his sweet but low voice, rasping softly from the lack of using it throughout the night. A sound that never failed to make your knees weak and turn your insides upside down. You nodded your head lightly, turning to him with a soft smile. âYeah, letâs get out of hereâ, you suggested as you already started to step forward. His scent had been so strong when he stood next to you, that you couldnât stand it. Your senses were constantly being thrown out of balance, making you extremely lightheaded. But as you noticed his tall figure trailing farther away behind you, you halted your movements. You suddenly remembered that every full moon he had difficulties with walking for the first few hours. You waited until he reached your side, before you carefully took his arm and swung it over your shoulders. Your other arm wrapped around his waist to balance him out. Another âthank youâ escaped his lips while his loving gaze landed on the side of your face. You shrugged off his comment, trying desperately to control your emotions. You had been close to Remus plenty times before. The marauders always joked about how you were joined by the hip. But for some reason now, you felt yourself burning up at his close proximity.
The walk had been quiet, an heavy air hanging above you. With his arm draped over your shoulder, he could feel that you were very tense. Every time his thumb started to draw little circles on your hand - that was holding his as a way to keep his arm in place- you jumped a little at the sensation. It was clear that you werenât behaving like usually. âAre you alright, love? You seem a bit tenseâ, he asked with a concern filled voice. For the first time that night you looked him in the eyes. A small smile made its way up your face: âIâm fine. Donât worry about it.â He held your gaze for as long as you allowed him to. âAre you sure? We could go for a quick swim if youâd likeâ, there was the smallest hint of amusement lingering in his voice. Ever since you had introduced him to skinny dipping, he had become a fan of the late night activity. âItâs okay, Rem. We could go for a swim another time. I think for now itâs better that we get you to Madam Pomfrey so she can treat your wounds.â You pointed to the cut on his arm. His wounds werenât deep, but you would feel better if they were taken care of. When you wanted to continue walking, you felt a soft pull on your sweater. The arm that had been draped around your shoulder, was now holding you back. You turned around in his light grip, being met with his familiar concerned face. âWell, so do you. I have gotten you pretty bad.â You knew perfectly well to what wound he was referring to. While he had lunged at you - in a playful manner- he had scratched a big cut on your back. One that gave you a burning and slightly stinging sensation. âIâll heal. Itâs one of the many perks of being a born wolf. I heal quicker than the average human or bitten wolfâ, you said to shrug off his concernces. He raised his eyebrow in a questioning and challenging manner, showing his dissatisfaction of your answer. With a small sigh, you lifted the front of your sweater. You purposely showed him the smaller cut on your abdomen instead the one on your back. Knowing well enough that underneath his worries was a big amount of guilt hidden. Guilt that already was eating away at him. âSee, Iâm already healingâ, you tried to ease his mind. But his soft grip on your waist didnât falter, unconsciously keeping you in a close proximity. âStill, I know I injured you more than just that cut. Just come with me to the hospital wingâ, he gave you a pleading look. Big puppy eyes staring down at you, while his lip started to curl into a pout. He knew you couldnât resist that face. He also knew that he couldnât resist it either when you pulled that trick on him. It was a weakness the both of you shared. With a small hit to his chest, you caved in. He let out a soft chuckle, weakening you more than you would like to. Sooner or later you were going to burst. Your body wouldnât be able to take it any longer, to be constantly driven mad by the addicting drug that Remus provided you. You desperately needed some time alone, so you could think.
As you finally arrived at the hospital wing, the marauders were already awaiting you. Sirius and James wore big grins on their faces, snickering to themselves as they were thinking about what teasing comment to make first. They always liked to poke fun at how close you two were, how they could feel the sexual tension radiating from your bodies, how suffocating it was to watch none of you acting up on those feelings. But you didnât allow them to speak a word, as you shot them a threatening look. As a born wolf you were able to make your fangs and claws appear whenever you pleased. A nice detail if you wanted to intimidate them. Even if they didnât want to admit it, they were scared of you - petrified even. You werenât scared to show your aggressive side. It was a natural aspect of you life, being used to the threats that your family made whenever they wanted to make their point clear. So obviously you would carry on that habit, often letting a threat slip from your mouth. In that way, the boys knew not to push your limits.
As soon as Madam Pomfrey was done tending Remusâ wounds, his exhaustion caught up with him. He quickly fell into a deep sleep, a peaceful expression plastered over his face. You were glad to see how small his wounds had became throughout the time you had known him. It was as if he no longer felt the need to torture himself to keep his mind sane. An adoring smile crept upon your lips, your insides warming at the thought. Slowly but surely was this curse turning into a gift. He had found new ways to keep his wolf at bay, found a way to life a happy life with this. An odd sensation of proudness came over you. He had grown into this new man, stronger and more confident. You placed a soft kiss on his forehead, giving him one last glance before you left the room. As you made your way out, Madam Pomfrey gave you the healing potion. You always had trouble with accepting help from others. So she just gave you a healing potion just in case you needed it. Therefore she gave you the opportunity to choose for yourself. It was a little method she had, to trick your mind into thinking that you only were helping yourself. You hadnât accepted help, you just helped yourself. In an odd way it had worked every time.Â
The farther away you were from the hospital wing- where Remus laid in a peaceful sleep - the more your senses came back to their normal state. You gained a bit of control over them now you got rid of the strongest source of the addicting scent. You finally had time to yourself. Time to think. As if on cue, your racing thoughts broke through the thick wall you had build up. You needed to clear your mind, so the only thing you could think of was a good run. Even if you already had ran all night, you still had plenty of energy left to last for a couple of days. Adrenaline was pumping through your veins as if it were the only necessity you needed. You desperately craved to be in your natural state, letting your senses take full control after being thrown off guard for the whole night and early morning. As you reached the forest, you quickly shifted to your wolf-form. The cool wind was rushing through your fur, whistling soft melodies in your ears and filling your lungs that were desperate to breath in the fresh air. You let your mind become an insufferable mess. You world started to spin again, your head fogging up. But you never quit running. You needed to keep moving until everything was processed. It had been your only method to deal with your feelings and problems. A method that your parents had taught you since you were a little girl. So you kept running until every thought had been worked through. Until they all had found their place in your mind where they would finally lay low. Only when you could make sense of the things you had felt, you would stop your movements.
You didnât understand why all of the sudden your closeness with Remus had started to overwhelm you. You always had brushed your feelings off, thinking they were an innocent spark of lust or a sign of your wolf taking over. But previous night you had realized that those emotions could have underlying meaning. You had realized that your wolf hadnât interfered that night. That you were in full control of your actions. Feelings that you unconsciously had bottled up, finally came to the surface. They had made their presence loud and clear by throwing you completely off balance. Something that had never happened before.Â
You didnât knew when your feelings had started to form. Ever since you had met Remus, there had been this immediate connection. A bond that wasnât explainable to anyone, besides the two of you. You never had the urge to overthink things with him. You didnât care what a hug, a kiss or any sort of affection meant. It was just how your friendship worked, how it always had been. Of course lately you had been more affectionate with each other, but neither of you had seemed to be bothered by the slight increase in affection. You had an easygoing, very comfortable bond that no one seemed to understand. It was perfect and your feelings wouldnât change a thing. You liked that you could be so affectionate with him without feeling the obligation to give it an official label. You were happy with the way things were. You probably had these feelings for years, so why suddenly change your attitude? You could just see how things would evolve. You would alway have your friendship. Even if you both had dated other people before, your connection had never changed the slightest bit because of it. You always would have Remus by your side. So instead of what the future possibly could bring, you were just going to enjoy the moments you had with him.
When your mind became less clouded, you became more aware of your surroundings. You noticed that the moon was shining brightly in the sky, shrunken just the slightest bit. You had spend the whole day running through the forest, being completely absorbed by your thoughts. But you felt lighter, as if a huge weight had fallen off your shoulders. It had helped you understand your emotions. Your feelings had surfaced because you were starting to worry more about your future, about what would happen after Hogwarts. You still had another year and half to go, but your subconsciousness was going mad about the uncertainties you have. About the unknown that comes with life. The bigger amount of stress had awakened your worries about losing Remus. So your emotions had made itself present to show you how deeply you actually cared about him. They had shown you what your bond actually was, at least on your side. It was an unrequited love that you were afraid to lose.
You slowly started to make your way back to the castle. The wet grass tickled the sole of your feet, as you enjoyed the chilly wind playing with your hair. As an automatic reaction, you came to a stop once you reached the Black Lake. A smile came to your face, quickly ridding yourself of your clothes so you quick take a deep dive. After running for nearly two days with only small breaks in between, a swim in the cooling water would work wonders. Your aching muscles were begging you for the refreshment. With a small run-up, you dove into the lake. The water was a nice contrast against your heated skin. You let yourself float on the surface of the water, taking in deep breaths. You enjoyed everything that this calming night provided you with. You listened to the soft rustling of the leaves, hearing the small animals come alive at night in the far distance, the water lightly waving caused by your movements. You felt completely at peace.
After an hour, you felt exhaustion creeping up on you. So you decided to finally return to your dorm. On your way there, you stopped by at the hospital wing to check on Remus. Seen how good he had looked before you left him, he would probably be back to his normal self in no time. When you pushed past the big door, you were met by an empty hall. With a satisfied smile, you continued your way to your dorm room. Seemingly your nightly run had worked for him, but you couldnât know for sure until you had spoken to him. You silently made your way into the room, careful not to wake any of the others who were already in a deep sleep. As your head finally hit the soft pillow, you allowed yourself to drift off to your imaginary dreamworld of your unconsciousness. Allowing yourself to get the rest you deserved.

Summary: Everyone has secrets, but some apparently aren't as hidden as they thought
Word count: 3 K (3015)
Authorâs note: I only proofread it halfway through, seen that I didnât edited much. So I hope the rest of the story is good as well. Hope you enjoy reading it XX
Everyone held secrets; deep, unspoken words that never would see the light of day. Dark, terrifying thoughts that crept up in their lone moments. Whatever it was, everyone had something to hide. Everyone had something that burdened them. Some had mistakes where guilt nibbled at them harder every day. Others had troublesome thoughts that kept them awake at night. While others had innocent thoughts and secrets that they refused to reveal.
The same applied to one special Glader; Newt. He had some dark, unspoken words and thoughts. But those weren't necessarily secrets, just insecurities, sadness and hopelessness that crept upon him every now and then. Thoughts that had bothered him before his jump and still were troublesome to him now. His actual secret was harmful and very innocent. If the others knew, it wouldn't change a thing.
The things he hid from the others weren't particular secrets either. It was a rare classification that had no specific name. He had an amazing ability to draw. Newt was a very observant person. He took in every detail of his surroundings and could bring them alive on his paper with just a simple pencil. It was a great gift he had been given to fill the lone moments. Most people knew he could draw; but didn't know how well. Rarely anyone knew what he drew. That was part of his secret. He always claimed he didn't have a favorite subject. But ever since you arrived in the Glade, you had caught his eye. He was mesmerized by your beauty; sweet and pure. You had this amazing ability to bring light and life to this hopeless place. Before he knew it, his heart was beating three times faster than usual. Talking to you suddenly became difficult, as he struggled to find the right words and stumbled over his own tongue. His timid behavior around you only got worse, seen that you were a very affectionate person. You showed your love and appreciation through hugs and innocent touches.
Currently, everyone was relaxing around the bonfire. Everyone was laughing happily, drinking Gallyâs secret concoction that burned their throat with a sweet bitterness. Most guys were already too intoxicated by the drink. Some were trying to prove to each other who was stronger, by fighting in the pit. But after a few hours of constant tending the boys wounds, you had persuaded them to stop fighting seen that you wanted to enjoy the evening as well. Some just sat lazily, laughing at each others stories while others were acting like little children. Or more in particular, Minho and Thomas were acting like little children.Â
Bonfire evenings were the ideal moment for Newt to sit back, observe everyone with a happy smile and draw whatever he saw. His eyes roamed over the boys, until he found you sitting next to Chuck who sat next to Minho. On your other side stood Thomas. He was waving his arms in clumsy movements, while a huge pout formed on his face. He had tried to steal your drink a few times already, but each time you were faster to let his attempt fail. You had taken the drinks from him; seen that he was already intoxicated enough. Whenever he was drunk, the boy turned into the biggest baby ever. You always needed to watch him; hoping he wouldnât get himself killed.
Newt amusingly watched how Thomas had finally succeeded in snatching the drink out of your hand, earning a soft yelp from you. He clumsily ran away from you, giggling in the process. He heard your shouting voice as a faint whisper against the loud noises of the other gladers and the chilly evening wind. Even when you were angry and chasing the tall boy, his heart still fluttered at the sight of you.Â
While you were chasing Thomas, slapping him on the back; Minho approached Newt. The keeper of the runners yelled his name loudly, as he stumbled over to him in clumsy manners. âHow ya doing, bud?â, Newt asked awkwardly. His eyes briefly left your running figure to focus on the drunken boy. He didnât really want to have a conversation with anyone, surely not Minho. For some reason he constantly teased Newt about his crush on you, even if he didnât confirmed his presumptions. Minho liked to bother gladers, annoying them till their blood was boiling. His favorite victim was Newt, the one he had his eyes on currently. âIâm boredâ, Minho exclaimed like a little child. He plopped himself down, bumping his shoulders into the ones of the second-commander. âWhy donât you go annoy Gally for a bit?â, Newt suggested, hoping he would leave him be for the night.Â
Newt eyes searched for your running figure again. He had adverted his gaze just in time to see how you tripped over Thomas. The poor boy landed face first into the grass, groaning from the impact of the fall. Newt stifled a laugh at the sight. As you went to pick up the now empty cup, Thomas was already on his feet running off to take someone elseâs drink. Newt shook his head lightly in amusement, returning his attention to the boy next to him. âNo, I want to talk to youâ, he whined, a small pout on his lips. âWhy would you want that?â, Newt asked with a raised eyebrow, but received no answer as his friends was already deep in thought. He already knew what topic Minho would pick. So when he answered they should chat about you, he wasnât shocked at all. Minho wore a mischievous expression on his face, while Newt tried to hide his slightly reddened cheeks. This conversation was not going to end well.
âHow many pages are already filled with her face?â, Minho pointed at the handmade sketchbook that laid in his lap. The boy made an attempt to take it, but Newt had pulled his knees up to his chest, hiding the book from his view and gripping hands. âHuh?â, Newt answered vaguely. He was fazed out, half of his attention going to his clouding mind, the other half to his surroundings. But the longer he sat there, the more distracting his thoughts got. They were pleading him to follow them down the unending spiral of overthinking. His muscles were tensing up, and only got worse when he felt two smaller arms being wrapped around his shoulders. He didnât need to look to know it was you. A comfortable warmth was radiating from your figure on his back, your body slightly pressed against his. Your breathed fanned against his cold skin of his neck and ear. As hard as he tried, he couldnât resist the shiver from going down his spine in a painful movement. âHi love. Could you help me with Thomas? He is acting like an absolute child and wonât stop stealing peopleâs drinksâ, you sighed, letting your chin rest on his shoulder for a few seconds. You softened your embrace as you were looking to where Thomas was supposedly standing. But of course the boy had disappeared the second you had left his side. âOh for suck sakes!â, You sighed, annoyed at the boyâs childish behavior. You stood up again, your eyes roaming over the place in hopes to find the black haired boy. âThat bloody shank, Where is he now?!â, you grumbled to no one in particular as you placed yourself in between Minho and Newt. You leaned a bit into Newtâs side: âI swear, if he ends up dead; itâs not my faultâ.Â
You tiredly took a sip of Newtâs cup that seemingly hadnât been touched yet. Your eyes focused on the flickering flames of the fire in front of you, zoning out a bit. You had been running around the glade all evening; tending some boys wounds as they had fought, making sure Thomas or Minho didnât cause any further chaos. This was one of your first times that you could actually relax while sitting. Your aching muscles could rest, while your pounding mind could calm down. But as always in the glade, peace didnât last long. A loud yell was heard from behind you, scaring you to your bones. You jumped closer towards Newt, who automatically wrapped a protective arm around your waist. Your head whipped behind you, turning so fast that you thought it would snap off. âFor shucking sake, Shank!!â, you yelled at a laughing Thomas, who nearly collapsed onto the ground. Finally having the perfect opportunity, you tackled the boy to the floor. One of your hands gripped the collar of his shirt in a tight grip, lifting the boy closer to your face. âEither you sit your arse down, or Iâll make sure you canât sit for a whole week straightâ, even in his drunken state, he had to gulp down a lump that had formed in his throat. You rarely got mad, but when you did, people needed to watch out.Â
As a punished child he sat down on the other side of Minho, a big pout formed on his lips while he crossed his arms over his chest. You rolled your eyes at him, shaking your head at his foolish behavior. âAre you now going to show me your drawings?â, Minhoâs slurring voice filled your ear. Newt didnât answer. He just stared at the ground underneath his feet, knees still tucked to his chest. His body was tensing up, his heart hammering like a mad man against his ribcage and his throat was slowly closing up. âHe has beautiful drawings of your faceâ, Minho continued to speak. Your eyebrow raised at his vague words. âHe probably has filled many pages already-â, the longer he talked, the more confused you got. âHe loves all of you, but he is totally mesmerized by your faceâ, he chuckled, an amused but mischievous grin on his face. Meanwhile your brain was still trying to register any of his words. They all seemed like drunken nothingness; meaningless words. Somewhere inside you it hurt knowing that those things probably werenât true. That it was another plague of Minhoâs endless teasing. âYeah right, mate. I think you have had enough to drink tooâ, you patted him on the shoulder, taking the cup from his hand. âYou can ask him yourselfâ, he stated as a matter of fact, the same expression still painted on his face. As you looked over to where Newt had sat before, he was gone. âGreat, look what you have doneâ, you hit Minho in the chest, standing up to find the second in command.Â
He often ran off when he felt too anxious or felt too embarrassed. It wasnât a rare occurrence that you needed to find him in his secret hiding places. His favorite place was to hide in the watchtower. It was far away form everyone else and high up, giving him an odd safe feeling. Even after his fall from the wall, he still liked being high up somewhere. It made his senses calm down. As you neared the top of the tower, you heard soft sobbing filling the air. You knocked softly onto the wooden hatch door. âGo away, Minho!â, his voice cracked. âwhat if itâs not Minho?â, your voice was soft and unsure. You slowly opened the creaking door, still not hearing any reply. You made your way over to his side, sitting a bit further away from him than previously. A silence fell over the two of you, weighting you down. In the dark light, you looked at his hunched over figure. His knees were tucked up his chest, his arms wrapped around them while his face hid on them. You shuffled a bit closer to him, careful to watch any signs of refusal. But he was too focused on staring off into he void, mind clouding with overwhelming thoughts. Once you sat close enough, you rubbed soft patterns on his back. You felt the muscles tense a bit, but soon relaxed under your innocent touch. His sobs had stopped to moment he heard your voice. Somewhere inside you, you were afraid he was urging himself to hold them in. You didnât want him to feel this way, but didnât really knew how to calm him down either.Â
âYou know,.. Minho was just joking, messing around like alwaysâ, your shaking voice broke the silence. âWhat if he wasnât...â, Newtâs voice was nearly inaudible, almost getting drowned out by the wind rushing through the green crowns of the trees. But you heard it, unless your mind was playing some cruel trick on you. âWhat- What do you mean?â, you stumbled over your words, looked at the side of his face as he still refused to look at you. âWell, I - uhm - I...â, he was at loss for words, not knowing how to express himself in coherent sentences. He always failed to express his feelings with words, unlike Minho and Thomas who were rather skilled with their wording. He rather observed the things, keeping his thoughts to himself as he drew. Only when his opinion was needed he would lend his thoughts to the others, but otherwise his mind was a mystery to everyone else. So as difficult as it was for him, he placed his handmade sketchbook in your hands. He didnât met your gaze, too afraid to do so. You had yours glued on the object, eyebrows knit together in confusion. âLookâ, he whispered softly as he noticed your frozen state. Slowly you opened the sketchbook and saw many stunning drawings.Â
The first few you saw were of the gardens, the forest, the gladers eating at the tables, the bonfire, some other moments that had happened during his time here and some portraits of the gladers themself. The more pages you flipped, the more you got amazed by his talent. Your body froze again, when you found a stunning drawing of your own figure. You were sat against a tree, enjoying the afternoon sun. With wide eyes and an agape mouth you admired the drawing. It was odd to see an image of yourself that included so many details that you had never noticed. The next few pages were again filled with nature. But as you went further into the book, you saw yourself more often. It started off with a normal drawing that included you, but you werenât the focal point. Then it moved on to drawings were your figure seemed to be drawn out in much more details than the other. Then it moved on to only you filling the page. When you neared the end, your figure switched off with detailed, lifelike drawings of your face. It still had some drawings of the forest and other plants, but your face became the biggest focal point. The last page that was filled, was one of your face just minutes ago at the bonfire when you were sitting next to Chuck. He had drawn you with such perfection, every detail standing out amazingly. you were stunned by his talent. You knew he could draw and had seen small glimpses of his drawings of the gardens, but never had seen much of it to make a clear image in your mind. Most glances were of the beginning stage, where he wasnât paying much attention to his surroundings. He was consumed by capturing reality, soaking in every detail so he could mimmic them perfectly on his page. Once he studied his subject enough to have a clear image of it, he came back into reality. Whenever someone approached him them, he would notice right away. He was very timid about his drawings skills, rarely showing anyone one of his pieces.Â
âWowâ,you breathed out, lost for words. You were shocked at how his talent had gone unnoticed. âThese - these are... wowâ, you were unable to make coherent sentences. You were still looking at the last drawing of his sketchbook, totally in awe. âI know this must be very creepy and inappropriate...â, He spoke softly, his voice shaking from nerves, âBut Minho was right... I love youâ. Your eyes shot up to him, nearly popping out of your sockets. you must have misheard him. He dipped his head down, trying to hide his read cheeks while also feeling a weight of defeat pushing on him. âBut.. it doesnât - doesnât matter. I - I know you donât - donât feel the same...â, he mumbled sadly and nearly inaudible. âI never said thatâ, you said a bit louder than expected. Maybe even a bit too harsh. You were just shocked at his words. You didnât want him to have the wrong impression.Â
The silence fell over you two again, but this time it felt lighter. Your knees was touching his, meaning that he hadnât moved an inch while this all happened. In contrary, he even had turned his body slightly towards yours. Seeing this gave you some odd feeling of confidence and boldness. You placed the sketchbook next to you, safely hidden from any damage that you could cause it. One of your hands came to cup his soft cheek, turning his face towards yours. Without a moment where you could overthink your movements, you leaned in to connect your lips with his velvety ones. At first he froze, making you panic. You were about to pull back, when one of his warm hands came to the small of your back while the other came to the back of your neck. He pulled you closer to him, dragging you in his lap. Your lips moved together in a comfortable rhythm. It was a bit clumsily, seen that you both havenât kissed before or at least not that you could remember. But you wouldnât wish your first kiss to go any other way. You were finally kissing Newt, the boy you loved. You smiled into the kiss, slowly breaking away form him as you both needed air to fill your lunges again. âI love you too, you foolâ, you whispered, a big smile plastered on both your burning red faces.Â
Summary: There was no hiding that Remus was a werewolf, surely not to someone who was one too. Through this curse he found a good friend, maybe even lover

Author's note: I am so sorry if none of this is accurate. This idea suddenly came to me while showering. I hope you like it! xxÂ
I might write a second part of it, but thought this was a good stopping point for now. Let me know if you would enjoy a second part xx
Tonight had been a full moon, or more particularly still was one. The sun still was in its early hours of rising over the hill, the smallest amount of light already filtering through. You sneaked up to the secret entrance of the Shrieking Shack, quickly putting on the clothes you had safely hidden there. As a born wolf you couldn't resist the urge to shifting to your natural state. The moon had begged you with its bright light and hypnotizing voice whispering a melody in your ears. As you went to the place were Remus was, you saw Sirius and James tiredly chatting to each other. They were leaning against the wall, unaware of your presence. Peter stood a bit further listening to the conversation that softly filled the room. From afar you examined Remus' sleeping state. He laid curled up on the small, thin mattress that was placed there. A small smile made its way upon your lips as you focused on his face, it no longer was crunched up in pain.
"How is he?", you approached Remus, making the two boys jump at the sound of your voice. You heard Sirius curse, before he turned to you and answered: "Yeah, just some small cuts here and there. But very exhausted as always" You nodded understandingly, still stepping closer to Remus' side. "Tell me again, how come you aren't so exhausted? What makes you so energetic?", James' voice filled the small room. You sighed, shaking your head lightly at his comment. You looked over your shoulder: "For the umpteenth time, he is bitten whereas i was a born wolf". Not willing to say anything else, you crouched down next to the mattress. You softly brushed your fingers through his messed up hair, a faint smile curling your lips upwards. It didn't felt as soft as usual. Some nots had formed due to a mixture of sweat, dirt and a lot of tossing around. You carefully pulled your hand back as you felt some resistance, laying it next to his peaceful face.
You felt burning eyes on your back, knowing very well that James was impatiently waiting for you to continue talking. You could resist it one more minute, before you grew tired of his eyes burning holes into your soul. Dropping your head down in defeat, you turned slightly to him: "The full moon drags out my most natural state, being a wolf. So naturally a full moon is going to fuel me with energy, boosting my senses and making me act like a hyperactive dog". The last part you said with a smile, rethinking of the many times Remus had called you that. "Whereby Remus' most natural state is being a human. Naturally the full moon dragging out his wolf will be exhausting. It forces him to take on this new form of living, going through excruciating pain every time. His body is not adjusted to the transformation, unlike mine". Even if they had heard this plenty of times before, they seemed to be fascinated every time.
The first time you had told them the story was the day after you had met Remus.
You were running freely, chasing little creatures in the Forbidden forest. You never killed them or harmed them. You just loved the chase. The rush of adrenaline that pumped through your veins while doing what your instinct told you. You never were on the hunt to taste blood, just trying to get rid of an overwhelmingly amount of energy that shot like electricity through your bones. As the little animal got tired, you ran past it. Your eyes immediately roamed the place for a new prey to chase. Most animals in the Forbidden Forest by now knew you werenât out to kill, plainly to run.Â
After a couple of hours you grew bored of the chasing. You easily found your way back to the Shrieking Shack, but got distracted by the glistering moon reflecting on the Black Lake. As a Siren it sang to you its magical song, lulling you in a fazed out state. Without realizing it a hundred percent you dove into the cold water. Your muscles relaxed and the constant heat you felt, seemed to fade away. It was a nice refreshment. Your paws paddled happily through the water, staying close enough to the shore. The other creatures in the water tolerated students who went swimming, but only if they didnât go in too deep or too far. Anyone who dared to do so, risked their own life.Â
The constant repetition of circling movements worn you out. It got bored at times, being a lone wolf in an empty world. You wanted a friend like you, who would be willing to chase each other. Who played wildly without being scared of hurting you. Someone who shared this âcurseâ, as some would call it. As a prevention of not sulking around all sad for the few hours you had left, you decided it was best to return to the Shrieking Shack. You shook your (y/h/c) fur, getting rid of some excess water. You plopped yourself down onto the grass, rolling around while growling softly out of happiness. Abruptly your movements came to a stop as your nose had caught a whiff off another wolf; more specifically a male wolf. A wolf who got bitten to turn each full moon; one who truly wore the curse upon him.Â
With your nose to the grass you followed his intoxicating smell, leading you all the way to the Whomping Willow where you ran all the way to the Shrieking Shack. Inside you were met with two boys who you recognized as Sirius Black and James Potter, their mostly invisible companion Peter probably out somewhere to fetch some things. But they werenât your focus point, the groaning wolf figure was. Somewhere in you, you already knew who this wolf was. Remus Lupin. It wasnât difficult to discover. His constant disappearing around the same time the full moon would come up, his exhausted figure the days after, and the thing that gave it away was his scent. Even if he was mostly unconscious about spreading the intoxicating smell, he couldnât deny the strong smell that surrounded him. It reminded you of a manly wolf running wildly through the forest. A scent that pulled you towards him. But just for his sake, you had refused to follow your instincts and resisted the urge to be near him. Just for his sake, you hadnât confronted him about it yet.Â
But currently all logical thinking seemed to be thrown out the window. Your wolf got too excited to finally be around another one like you, that you simply couldnât resist the urge any longer. You broke free from the chains and ran wild on your instincts. You shook your (y/h/c) fur one last time, splashing the last bit of remaining water onto the duo that was blocking your way. As they split apart and made sounds of disgust, you walked in between them in a straight line towards Remusâ shifted form. Your presence was now clear to them. You had expected yelling and insult being thrown at your head, but only heard faint gasps and yelps. It probably was shocking to them to see another wolf. One who looked differently, who looked healthier. Soft fur covered your body more evenly, with a fuller tail wagging behind you. Your paws were more elegant and you were build less broad, seen that you were a female wolf. To the duo you could be a real wolf, one without a human being locked up within.Â
Remus didnât seem to react quite much at your appearance. Your cold, wet nose touched his, quietly asking him to join you in your nightly adventures. But he kept a blank look on his face, making you tilt your head to the side. Your (y/e/c) eyes stared into his. The usual warmness that was captured in them, had switched with conflicted pain and torture. A hardened look on his face, making it clear as day that he was going through excruciating pain. His snout was slightly crunched up, his hairs standing straight upwards as a signal for his extreme discomfort. You tapped his nose a second time, looking him deeply in the eyes with a worried look. Silently you were telling him that everything would be alright, but the message probably didnât got delivered that well.Â
You heard two figures stepping closer to Remus, alarming your instinct. Before registering what you were doing, you growled at the duo. Your head snapped towards them, watching them with angry eyes. They needed to keep their distance. You wanted to keep your fellow wolf safe. You were acting purely on instincts. You didnât even register well enough that they were simply trying to protect their friend too. But you couldnât bare the thought of anything happening to him, so you protectively stood before Remus. He released a strong scent that stung your nose, a scent that showcased his excruciating pain. To you it was unbearable, to his friends it was undetectable.Â
Of course the duo was stubborn and tried to near you 3 more times. You stood up from your comfortable spot on the ground, taking small steps towards them. Your snout neared their faces as you showed off your sharp teeth. A low growl escaped your insides, deeper than the ones they heard before. This was enough to make them back away. It worked so well, that they eventually left the room completely. You took this as your cue to shift back to your human form. You circled around for a little, before your fur exchanged itself for your naked skin. You tugged your knees up your chest, covering yourself as much as possible. âHiâ, your voice was a soft, warm tone. You offered him a sweet smile, but knew well enough how confused he must be. You scooted closer to him, feeling the cold winter air on your skin. But it didnât made you shiver. It was a pleasant temperature, surrounding you with a comfort that you had been looking for. One of the many advantages of being a born wolf.Â
That early morning you had told Remus the whole story about your life as a born wolf and being taking from your parents as you were supposedly âtoo dangerousâ for them to handle. You told him the little differences, the downsides of this all but also the good sides. You had told him fun memories to cheer him up and keep his mind distracted from the excruciating pain. You continued to do so till the sun finally glanced above the hills. With a relieved smile Remus shifted back to his human form, exhaustion taking over the pain that had filled him seconds before. He laid more comfortably on the bed, a relieved but exhausted expression on his face. His soft, warm eyes lazily held your gaze. âThank youâ, He spoke quietly, voice cracking up a bit. You brushed off his comment. He shouldnât be thanking you, you only did what your instincts told you. Remus looked way worse than you, big cuts covering his chest and stomach. You covered him with the thin blanket, trying to give him a bit of warmth back. You searched for your clothes, quickly putting them on before his friends could come back. Meanwhile you had also found some other clothes. Probably some that Remus had left there for the next morning. You brought them over to him, laying them next to the mattress. Remus had his eyes closed, soft breathes leaving his mouth. You smiled at the view. He looked peaceful, free from pain but struck by an overwhelmingly amount of exhaustion. You sat down next to him, carefully reaching out your hand to caress the skin of his cheek. You brushed away some of the hair that had fallen into his closed eyes. âItâs going to be okayâ, you whispered mostly to yourself.
That morning Remus had promised to keep your story a secret, as long as you kept his. But the noisy duo that he called his best friends had found a way to ruin this. They had barged into the sweet moment the two of you had. You ignored their surprised faces and dodged their immediate questions. All you did was shook your head lightly at them, and kissed Remus softly on the cheek. After that you left, trusting he would be safe in the hands of his friends. It had taken Remus hours upon hours of bearing with the nagging of his friends before he caved in. Of course, as the gentleman he is, he came to you first; asking for consent. You hesitated a bit, not quite trusting the popular duo that had been known for their loose mouths. Would they be able to keep your secret? But seen that they had kept Remusâ secret, you agreed to tell them yourself.Â
You shook away the memory of your first encounter with the popular group that had called themselves âthe maraudersâ. The explanation you had given, seemed to have satisfied Jamesâ curiosity; as he, Sirius and Peter were chatting again about some nonsense. You glanced back to Remus, being met with his eyes already fixated on your figure. Once again a smile curled your soft lips upwards, forming little smiling lines around your eyes. âHow is my little wolf doing?â, you asked him half jokingly, ruffling through his hair a bit. Remus brushed off the nickname, sitting up a bit more to talk more properly with you. A small groan left his lips as he did so, making your smile fall a bit. Even if he wasnât littered in huge wounds, he still needed to recover from his bones and muscles roughly being pulled out of place to make his wolf figure. âBetter than the first night we metâ, he chuckled lovingly, recalling the memory himself. You allowed yourself to laugh too: âI see. So are you finally up for that swim in the Black Lake?â A smirk replaced the smile, an excited sparkle glistering in your eyes. But as you saw his doubtful face, your expression fell once again. âCome on, just try itâ, you pleaded with puppy eyes and a pouting lip; hoping to win him over this time.Â
Since your first meeting, your bond had grown. You had offered him some advice every now and then. Some of your advice was; chasing each other around in the forbidden forest to satisfy his wolf. That would result into a less exhausting week afterwards, and if he were lucky also a less rough night at the next full moon. An other option was going for a swim in the Black Lake. This was something you had suggested often. It would lessen the aching in his muscles and bones, the pounding headache would vanish and his energy would be recharged. There was some other advice that he already accepted and involved into his routine. But for some reason he seemed extremely resistant towards the other two options, possibly awaking a lot of fears or underlaying feelings.Â
After a long minute of pleading, Remus finally gave in. The biggest smile brightened up your face. A happy squeal left your lips as you hugged him tightly, forgetting he had just spend the whole night in extreme pain. A soft groan escaped his mouth, vibrating through your ears. You couldnât help but shudder a bit at the unusual sensation and attractive sound. âSorryâ you mumbled ashamed, releasing him from your tight grip. âI got a bit lost in my excitement..â With a heated head you looked down at your hands in your lap, biting your lower lip softly. Partly from the embarrassment of accidentally hurting him as you got overwhelmed with excitement, partly from your nerves that Remus would have noticed the effect he had on you. You knew he was in pain and being turned on by his low groan would be very inappropriate. But being a wolf also meant having a high sexual desire; surely towards him.Â
While you felt embarrassed, you were unaware to the loving expression that Remus had plastered on his face. A smug smile relaxed on his lips, soft and warm eyes scanning over every detail of you. He admired every bit of you, losing himself at the sight; totally ignoring the shit-eating grins his friends wore. Patiently he waited for your energetic side to take over again, leaving all insecurities behind. Your dog-like behavior never failed to make him laugh, making him adore you even more. Â
âCome on.. letâs go!â, you shouted cheerfully, shaking your previous thoughts off your shoulders. You finally had persuaded him to swim in the Black Lake, you werenât going to ruin it by your constant overthinking. You softly tugged on his arm, carful not to hurt him another time. With a light grunt he stood up and followed your quick pace. Ignoring the heat rushing down your core, you lead him to your promised destination.
In no time you had made your way out of the Shrieking Shack and out of the Whomping Willow. You reached the silent grounds of Hogwarts, enjoying the few hours you had left of the early morning. As you sprinted over the damp grass, you let go of Remusâ hand you had unconsciously been holding the whole way here. He pouted a little at the empty feeling, your hand had fit so well in his; filling his insides with a warm, bubbly feeling. But hearing your laughter fill the chilly morning air, made the familiar feeling resurface.Â
The sun was at its early state of waking up, only a few rays peaking through the hills. The reflection of the moon glistering on the water was slowly fading. Usually your inner wolf would have pouted at the sight, but the upcoming events were showering you with an overwhelmingly amount of joy. âCome onâ, you yelled from a distance, making Remus laugh at your foolish behavior. You really looked like an energetic, overjoyed dog. He lazily stumbled after you, quickening his pace a bit as you continued to run like a mad one.Â
As you reached the edge of the lake, you quickly rid yourself off your clothes. You were desperate to feel the cold water against your skin, partly to get rid of all the aching that had filled your body and partly to get rid of the heat that was burning in your core. â(Y/n), what are you doing?â, you heard Remusâ hushed voice whisper-yell at you. As you looked over your shoulder, you saw him clumsily falling over his own feet. You shook your head lightly, giggling to yourself at his nervous behaviors. You continued to step deeper into the lake, the water already reaching the midst of your thighs. âWhat do you think? Taking a swim of courseâ, you stated sarcastically, letting a chuckle flee from your lips. You heard him grumble as you continued your movements. âI know, love. But when you said swim, I hadnât expected you to skinny dipâ, at the end of his sentence his voice got a bit higher, making you chuckle even more. You didnât know why you had this sudden effect on his, but you were loving it. âWhat is it? Is that big, strong wolf scared?â, you spoke in a teasing tone. This time you turned around fully, the water just covering your chest. With a big grin plastered on your face, you watched Remus struggle with his clothes and limbs. Even in the soft light, you saw the pink blush creeping up his neck; threatening to paint his cheeks as well. He just needed to remove his trousers, but hesitated. A lot of thoughts were probably racing through his beautiful mind. You just needed to push him a little more. Just a bit more and he would be next to you in no time. âsomeone is being a little catâ, your voice sang in a teasing tone once again, continuing your pestering.Â
Your teasing comments and melodic laugh echoed in his head, bouncing from wall to wall. A mischievous expression plastered on his face. You always knew how to toy with him, knowing exactly which words to says to get your way with him. Not that he was complaining, or ever would. In contrary, it spurred him on. something inside him craved it, craved you. Within seconds he had rid himself off his trousers, leaving him in his underpants just as you had done minutes ago. In no time, he stood next to you. His dark, lustful eyes looking deeply into yours, while a grin laid on his handsome face. âWell, hello thereâ, you mimicked his expression, splashing some cold water on his face. He stepped closer to your body, refusing his urge to touch your delicate skin. âAm I still a scared cat, huh?â, he growled with a deep voice, making your body shudder at the sensation that had filled you. He took another step towards you, grinning even wider as he saw you didnât backed away. His hot breath fanned on your cheek, alluring you in even closer. âDependsâ, you spoke with a shuddering voice, the same mischievous glister reflected in your eyes. The game was on.
I just wanted to apologize for my low activity. I am trying my best to write some of the requested fics and trying to write some of my ideas. But I have some trouble with university that is taking a lot of my time right now. I promise I will try to write as much as possible after those things will get sorted.Â

Authorâs note: Sorry for my lack of posting. I just finished finals and now canât seem to relax. I have been lacking any inspiration and have a constant worry about university. I hope you enjoy this piece. Iâll try to write as much as I can in my one week break x
You had a bad habit of being late for class. It happened so often that you mostly had to sit next to new people. It always raised your heart a bit, but it was still manageable. Even if your anxiety often made it hard, you found your ways. You just had to focus on class and could move on for the day. But today didn't seem to go so smoothly. The only seat left was next to Sirius Black, one of the most popular boys in the school. Not to forget also one of the famous Marauders. So naturally his other two friends sat behind him, James Potter and Peter. The last one the least know of the four of them. Unfortunately Remus didn't had this class, otherwise he would have sat next to you. But luck wasn't on your side.
They were joking about some nonsense, clearly not paying attention to anything in class or around them. So you didn't really bother to ask him if you could sit. Not that he or you had any other choice, it was the only seat left. You took your books, quill and parchment; trying your hardest to avoid possible gazes from the trio. Soon after your arrival, you felt a stinging gaze watching your side. They were scanning over every detail you possibly could have. On your back, you felt two pair of eyes burning holes through your robe. You tried your hardest to ignore them, but uncontrollable your cheeks got red. You couldn't hide your anxiety. Even if you weren't extremely afraid of new people, you still gave away noticeable signs. What went unknown was your rising heartbeat, racing thoughts and the sudden struggle to breath normally. They only could see your reddened cheeks, your uncontrollable fidgeting, the constant avoidance of any eye contact. Naturally people labelled you as shy and quiet, but they didn't knew half the truth. You didn't mind such a label, it made it all the more fun when you could proof them wrong.
You sighed relieved when the class finally got dismissed. It was a long torment of constant being stared at by two of the most popular boys. Most girls would have swooned at the attention, but you just wanted to disappear or scare them off with a nasty comment. You want for neither options and just payed attention to the lesson, or at least you tried. Each passing minut seemed to go by slower and slower. As if time had found itself in a frozen state, the clock its ticking stopping. everything around you moving in a stilling motion, the longer it went on the less movement could be found. And as soon as the teacher spoke the heavenly words 'class is dismissed', time regained its power again. Students were happily flowing out of the classroom, cheery chatter filling your ears again. You lightly shook your head while blinking a couple of times, trying desperately to lose the fazed out feeling. You started packing up your quill and parchment, but your books remained unseen.
You heard snickering form behind you, and saw a mischievous grinning boy next to you. Sirius proudly held your books out of your reach. You rolled your eyes, not amused by their stupid little game they were about to play. "Can I have my books back?", you said politely, but your irritated tone came through strongly. "No worry dear, you will get them back as soon as you answer us some questions", grinned the tall boy in front of you. You got the urge to slap his shit-eating grin off his so called perfect face. You gave the three of them your coldest glare, crossing your arms over your chest. "And what would dumb, dumber and dumbest want from me?", you spoke unamused, the same cold expression remaining on your face. It may even had turned murderous as you saw Peter flinch in the corner of your eye. You usual shy and quiet persona seemed to fade. You had a temper not much people knew off, and if they did it often was already too late. You only used it when needed, but they seemed to have a skill to make your blood boil in an instant.
They all chuckled at your reaction. Annoying people really gave them a thrill, getting under people's skin to gain a reaction out of them. "It's (Y/n) right?", James asked, making you turn your head sharply to him. He was sitting on top of the desk, grinning amused at your figure. âYesâ, you spoke shortly, voice cold and irritated. âWell, you are adorable when you are angryâ, he winked. When he noticed the slightest blush painting your cheeks, he jumped off the desk and walked away satisfied with himself. Peter followed him, snickering to himself. But you were sure if you made a sudden move towards him, he would jump out of his skin. You and Sirius were the only one who remained in the classroom. He leaned in closer to your smaller figure, even too close for your liking. âOur conversation isnât over, darling. Weâll see you soonâ, he whispered in your ear, making shivers run down your spine. He chuckled at your reaction and left with the same shit-eating grin on his face. What the idiot didnât know was that your shivers werenât a result of you being flustered by him; as if you ever would be. You just were uncomfortable and irritated. You never had liked it for people to be so close to you that you could feel their breath on your skin, surely not when they were the ones fueling your anger. But of course the boy didnât thought about that, he just wanted to soothe his ego.Â
A bit later the trio made their way into their common room, laughing loudly and joking about your previous encounter. James plopped himself next to Remus, who sat reading happily before they had ruined his peace and quiet. âWhat are you idiots laughing about now?â Remus always seemed to be the parent of the group, but he carried a secret sparkle of mischief in his eyes. âOh nothing, really..â, Sirius said amused, chuckling to himself. âBut we might have found a new pranking victimâ, James continued. This made Remus raise his eyebrow, they rarely had just random victims. Their victims were usually people who had done something to them, which he would be aware off. âWho?â, he asked unsure if he even wanted to know the answer. âJust this girl we met in class todayâ, this sparked his suspicions even more. They were particularly mysterious and vague, nothing like their usual behavior. He was often the first to be told about any new people who were a source of annoyance. Also their tone didnât seem to sit right with him. They were oddly cheery. âAnd who may that be?â, he asked a bit more determined to get to the bottom of this. His eyebrows furrowed together, creating frown lines to form on his forehead. He was growing impatient and even worried. â(Y/n)â, Sirius said enthousiast, a bright grin resting on his face. âWait- you-you-â, he stuttered over his words, not sure how to argue with them without revealing your secret. If he told them you were off charts of ever being a pranking victim, they would know the two of you were together. But he couldnât just let them prank you. âShe is just such an adorable angry little beingâ, James continued, going through his spell book to find some ideas for the prank. âNo, you canât prank herâ, Remus stated with a stern voice, making the other boys smirk at him. âOh, and why not? Does someone has a crush?â, Sirius wiggled his eyebrows teasingly, earning an angered glare to be shot his way. âNo, but she hasnât done anything to you. Why donât you stick to pranking Snape? He does tons of things you would want to take revenge forâ, he tried to argue with the stubborn boys. They made some expression as if they were thinking, but deep down he already knew how determined they were to prank you. âWell, I prefer herâ, Sirius and James said in unison.Â
- - -Â
The next day, the idiotic trio found you again. You were headed to the library, books in your hands and head somewhere else. The group had turned the corner, all wearing the same smug grin on their faces. Remus hadnât been able to reach you in time to inform you of the news, but you had your suspicions. âOh, look who we have here; our little angry birdâ, you sighed loudly at the sound of Siriusâ annoying voice. âUgh, not this again. What do you idiots want now?â, you said coldly, turning to face them. They all stood closer than you had expected, laughing at the stupid little game they were going to play. âOh, not much. We just wanted to have a little chat with youâ, James said wickedly, nearing your figure. Right in that moment you knew what they were up to. They werenât going to let you go that easily, but you had your little secret. You tried your hardest to hid your own little grin at the thought of their faces. Seeing them surprised when you fighting skills finally could be used.Â
They all started to circle around you, cornering you against a wall. You had no where to escape, but were more than ready to fight. The fun was about to begin.Â
Meanwhile Remus was running through the whole school, on a mission to find you. He had a bad feeling that his friends had already reached you, but he may could lessen the damage. He didnât want to lose you, surely not because of his obnoxious, idiotic friends. You were the sweetest thing he had met. You were a great listener and understood him on a deeper level that he thought was impossible. You were such a caring person, you always filled him with love and appreciation. But the thing he loved the most about you was your temper. You had amazing fighting skills, taught by your grandfather. It was admirable to see, flowing through the air graceful as ever; punching and kicking guys to the ground with ease.Â
As he rounded the corner of a dark corridor, he saw you. But not in the sight that he wouldâve liked. James had you trapped in his arms, a tight grip on your figure. You were struggling against him, desperate to get to Sirius as he was taunting you with some foolish insults. They spurred you on, only fueling your anger. Peter stood safely to the side, snickering to himself. He was too much of a coward to help with the taunting. âLet me goâ, you growled through gritted teeth. You lashed forward in an attempt to hit Sirius face, but got restrained by the strong grip James had on you. âNo chance, my dearâ, he chuckled. Your hands started to clench and unclench; a sign of you reaching your breaking point. The guys didnât knew it, but Remus saw it clearly. With a scared heart he watched the scene in front of him, but he couldnât help the smile curling on his lips.Â
You gave one last pull against his grip, loosening it up a bit. âLet- me- goâ, You said each word with one of your hits. You kicked him on the shin, making him let loose of his grip on you. You elbowed him in the nose, causing a small nose bleed for later on and finished it off with a kick to the stomach. He fell to the ground; one hand holding his nose, the other holding his stomach. He groaned in pain, but you ignored him. He would be fine. You moved towards Sirius, who watched you with wide eyes. Without hesitation you gave him one of your sharp hooks. Your fist collided with the side of his face, freeing a deep groan from his throat. You kicked him in the ribs and finished off with a hit to his stomach as well. Both boys were now on the ground, lowly groaning in pain. Peter was an easier target. You only needed to near him and he was already cowering away, hiding behind his hands. You looked at him with murderous eyes, making him shiver in fear. You growled and hit your hand against the wall next to his head. He let out a little yelp and started running off as fast as he could. Satisfied with your work, you took your books that had been scattered over the ground. Before you left, you looked behind you one more time. You made eye contact with each boy, while saying: âDonât ever think of doing anything to me again; or next time you lads wonât get so luckyâ. With that you walked off, spotting Remus a bit further in the hallway. He smiled proudly at you, but still carried worry in his eyes. âThatâs my girlâ, He said as he spread his arms, picking you up in a strong embrace. You happily accepted and kissed him in front of his friends who were shocked to say the least. âIâm sorry for what they did to you, loveâ, he spoke softly, still holding you tightly against his chest. One hand was softly caressing the skin against off your cheek, the other drawing simple patterns on your waist. He was looking at you with a guilty look, soft eyes capturing yours in a loving gaze. âDonât worry about it, darling. At least now they know not to mess with meâ. Another proud smile crept up his face; âI know, love. Youâll always be my not so innocent girlâ.
Summary: After serving detention with your favorite teacher, true feelings get revealed.Â
Word counter: 3,5 K (3500)
Authorâs note: I made Remus a new, young teacher, and the student just turned 18. There is still a 5 years difference, but I tried to make it a bit more comfortable for people who donât really like big age gabs.
I also tried to make it gender neutral, so if you guys have any tips; that would be great.Â
Didnât proof read this, as lack of time with my exams very near. But I wanted to post something. As expected it turned out longer than I had meant to
Hope you enjoy xxÂ
The time had come where the seventh years were learning how to make Amortentia. A potion well known to most curious students as the love potion. But it was a very tough one to make. You got all the ingredients right, but the brewing method messed you up every time. Same for today, it had started to fog an odd green smoke. It was at least better than the time where it had blown up in Snapeâs face. You had never received such a big punishment as then. You were given 5 essays to write and served detention for a whole month.Â
âDetention Miss/Mister (Y/L)â, you heard the cold, monotone voice from behind you, âYou can serve it with Professor Lupin after class. He needs help with grading essaysâ. You already had predicted this outcome to happen, but tried to argue anyway. âBut-â, you silenced yourself as soon as you saw his cold glare. You sighed, slumping back in your chair. âOkayâ, you mouthed silently, while making a mocking face. âThat will be two detentionsâ, you heard him say angrily. You threw your arms in the air as a sign of annoyance, but didnât say anything else. You started to clean your cauldron, hoping in the last minutes of class he wouldnât give you more detentions or worse, gave you another essay to write. He really hated the living hell out of you. As one of the new teachers, together with Professor Lupin, you handât expected to be hate so much. You rarely did anything. Perhaps even breathing was too much for him. But there was not much you could do about it. You realized that the hard way. Most of the time you argued with him, but one particular time he had enough of your snarky comments. He had given you detention for nearly two months, making you clean all the little, dirty places of Hogwarts. All magic was forbidden, you needed to clean it all by hand. And as bonus to top it all off, he overloaded you with essays to write. Every week you needed to give two writer essays of 10 pages at least. After that event, you didnât bother arguing much.Â
The rest of the day went by as normal, mostly spend with your nose in your books. As your final class ended, you quickly dropped off the unnecessary books at your dorm that couldnât fit in your bag. You only kept the ones you needed for your essay. The one you were planning to write after your detention. Your dorm seemed further away from Professor Lupinâs office, resulting in you needing to sprint through the halls. Luckily the halls were less crowded. Only a few students were chatting in the hallway, laughing with their friends and keeping each other up to date. When you reached the door, you were out of breath. Partly from the running and partly from your nerves. Your heart was pounding too, and you hands were shaking the slightest bit. You took in some deep breaths and tried to calm yourself.Â
Detention with Remus Lupin made you more nervous than you had expected. He wasnât just your favorite teacher, because of his amazing teaching skills. But also due to his kind character and beautiful looks. You had unexpectedly started to grow feelings for him. He had an amazing sweet and kind soul. His blue eyes sparkled every time he taught your class something new. Every time you got mesmerized by them, losing yourself into the beauty of the blue irises. Fascinated by the swirls of colors that came out when the light captured them from a certain perspective. His smile never failed to make your heart flutter. Every time he called your name during class, your face became beat red. His scars were a beautiful contrast against his slightly reddened cheeks.Â
You had thought the fact that he was your teacher, would disgust you. But technically he wouldnât be your teacher anymore in 2 months. And also the fact that there were only a few years between the two of you, made it more acceptable. He was a fairly new and young teacher. A lot of girls probably had crushed on him, so you werenât to blame. Itâs not like you could control your feelings. As long as you kept it hidden, you were fine.Â
Your hands were shaking more, as you realized what was about to happen. Your heart started to pick up its beat up again, hammering against your chest. You softly knocked on the wooden door. âCome inâ, his muffled voice could be heard form inside. With a little creak of the door, you made your way into his office. âHello Professor. Iâm here to serve my detentionâ, your voice was silent, and a bit shaky. He looked up from his desk full of papers, eyes lighting up the slightest bit. He gave you a sweet smile: âAh yes, (Y/N). I was surprised when Snape me you were the one who had gotten detention. You never do anything wrongâ. A light blush crept up your cheeks. His eyes were entrancing you, making your knees weak. âWell, I messed up the method of my potion, so you know how Snape is. Then I mocked him for his ridiculous behavior and got myself a second detention. So you will be stuck with me again tomorrow eveningâ, you smiled more confidently now. You didnât regret your behavior. Snape really was a living hell. It was just your overthinking mind and overwhelming nerves that were bothering you now. As they were most of the time.Â
âOh, Donât worry about that, dear. I donât mind your companyâ, he smile seemed even brighter. The soft candle light really gave him a certain glow that had you mesmerized. It was a soft yellow light, that showed off all his features even better. This soft look in combination with his sweet words really made you swoon. These detentions might were going to kill you. This man couldnât get any lovelier, at least you thought so. Every time you saw him, some new details had you drawn to him. Another little piece of him you could adore. Like whenever the light hits his eyes right, they looked almost yellow. As if a sun was glowing behind them. That might explain why they gave such a warm and loving appearance. Or the soft shadows that were cast on his face, pointing out his fine bone structure even more. His jawline standing out the most. The combination of his messy hair and wintery sweater, made him look very cosy. He gave off a feeling of home and trust. As if you truly could be yourself around him, even if there were certain boundaries. Maybe that comfort drew you the most to him.
âWell..., you can start with that pile over thereâ, his voice woken you from your daydream. He pointed to a chair in front of his desk with a smaller pile of papers on it neatly stacked. Your cheeks were flushing a bright red, as you realized he must have seen you stare at him for who knows how long. You placed your bag against the wall, and hung your robe on the hanger that stood in the corner. You carefully picked up the stack of papers and placed them on the desk, so you could sit. Lupin made some room for your pile, as his was literally scattered all over his wooden desk. He mumbled soft apologies in between soft, heartwarming chuckles. After he gave you a pen, some ink and instructions of how to rate these essays, you went to work.Â
You had to be honest, it was quite hard to concentrate when you were sat in front of this beautiful man. You often glanced up, admiring him in this soft light and closer perspective. You didnât dare to look up, but had a feeling his eyes were on you as well. But that couldâve been your feelings sparking up some deeply hidden hope for him ever being interested in you. Every time he leaned over to help you on a certain problem, you could feel your breath halt in your throat. You had trouble keeping your heart rate in control.
âIâm all done, Professorâ, you said when you rated the last essay of your pile. He looked up with that loving smile of his, making your heart flutter for the umpteenth time. âBrilliant. Thank you for your assistance todayâ, he gently took the essays from your hand, and placed them on his big pile of already marked homework. âMaybe I could help you with that potion you were having trouble with?â You smiled widely at him: âOh, that would be lovely, sir. I really could use some helpâ. He nodded happily, while his eyes seemed to spark that particular sparkle whenever he got passionated with teaching and helping people. âDo you have your textbook with you?â You mumbled a quiet yes, as you went to grab it from your bag. You handed it over to him, standing by his side on a formal distance away from him. âWhat potion were you working on?â, he asked while going through the pages of your book. âAmortentiaâ. As soon as the answer left you mouth, he started to cough lightly seen that he had just took a sip of his tea. âAre you okay, sir?â, you asked him worriedly, placing your hand on his arm. You were a bit unsure if you should touch him or not. But you had acted upon it like an instinct. Luckily he didnât really reacted to the soft manner, meaning he probably didnât mind. âYeah, yeah. Iâm alright, dear. Just chocked a bit on my tea, is allâ. He cleared his throat and straightened out his back, adjusting his position as a way to recover from his small coughing fit. âSo, Amortentia...â, he started off, sounding it bit absentmindedly. âYeah, I have all the ingredients right. Itâs the brewing method that messes me up every time. It always seems to go so well, until it suddenly doesnât. And I donât know whyâ, your explanation sounded like a rambling of quick words put together, making you unsure if he actually understood you. He nodded his head, as he read over the page. âHmm, well. Iâm here to help you. We just need suppliesâ.
The two of you snuck around the halls, if you even can consider it that. It was still a few hours before curfew and you were with a teacher, so not much trouble could happen. But you still sort of broke into Snapeâs classroom, which he wouldnât appreciate at all. âIf we get caught, I am going to blame you. He already hates the living hell out of meâ. The tall man next to you chuckled at your comment. âTrust me, love. He hates me plenty, you just donât see itâ. You raised your eyebrow questionably at him: âWhy? You are such a lovable personâ. The words left your mouth before you registered fully what you had said. His silence made you fear your previous statement even more. Did you mess up? But as you sneaked a look at him, it seemed like he wore a light blush on his cheek. Brighter than he usual reddened cheeks. Indeed it also could be the incidence of light, hitting his skin differently and creating an illusion of colours.Â
As you reached the classroom, you quickly mumbled a spell to unlock the door to Snapeâs ingredient collection. âAlright, get what you need. Iâll keep watchâ, he said quietly, not really looking at you. You listed off all the ingredients you needed, having remembered them from the plenty of times that you had read over the page. You had placed the ingredients on the desk nearest to you, not risking to drop any in the searching process. But as you looked at the amount of pots and bits, you werenât so sure if every item would make it back safely. âCould you give me a hand, sir?â, you said a bit louder, so he could hear you from the doorway. His head turned quickly to where you were standing. âOh. Of course, darlingâ, he smiled, rushing over to your side. He took the bigger part of the items, stressing that it was only right. He could carry them all with only one arm, the other softly placed on the small of your back as he guided you out of the classroom. It must have been a protective, kind manner he always had had in him. You shouldnât overthink such an innocent thing. But you had to be fair, it really made your heart melt and your skin burn where he hand was placed. It gave you all sort of tingles.Â
He opened his door for you, opening his arm to allow you into his office. âSuch a gentlemanâ, you teased, even if your cheeks were burning up. He glanced to the floor, hiding his face from your view. You set all the ingredients on the table, setting them on order of how you would need to use them. Remus placed his cauldron on the table and started to go over the instructions. He mostly gave you the lead, but stepped in wherever you were going to make a mistake. He also gave you useful tips for future potions. âYou are doing a great job, (Y/N)â, he smiled form your side, keeping a respectable distance from you. âWell, you are helping me a lot. So, you could say we make quite a great teamâ, you smirked lightly, not really daring to look over to him. You just focused on stirring in the cauldron. A weight fell of your shoulders when you hear him chuckle: âIf you say so, it must be trueâ. He sounded a little more playful.Â
As you added the last ingredient, the liquid turned a beautiful pastel pink. The aroma that came from it was way better than all your previous attempts. You leaned over the cauldron to take a whiff of the odor. âOh wow, this smells good. Itâs way better than all my other attempts. Itâs smells like manâs cologne and chocolateâ, you said with an excited smile, but it fell soon after. âOr is it just you?â, you asked a Remus with a sad tone. You really wanted to succeed, but after all your failed attempts you didnât know what Amortentia smelled or looked like.Â
Lupinâs eyes were switching between your face and his hands, as if he were unsure of what to say or do. âNormally it smells like what youâre attracted to, miss/ mister (Y/L/N)â. Your eyes widened the slightest bit. Of course you knew that. You were just so enchanted by the smell, that you forgot you were actually outing your secret to the person you wanted to know the least. âOh, yeah. I know that. But as my other attempts smelled so awful, I thought maybe Amortentia had an actual odorâ, you tried to safe yourself. It was partly true, but you tried to cover up the fact that you had outed your secret. You had admitted smelling him, admitting to liking him as the potion had succeeded. âIt- Itâs alrightâ, he spoke quietly. A short moment of silence fell over the two fo you. But before it could get any more awkward, you decided to speak up again. âSo, uhm. What do you smell, sirâ. He seemed to swallow a big lump that had formed in his throat. Slowly he came into movement, leaning over the cauldron as well. He closed his eyes to focus on the scents that he smelled. âOld books and (a scent linked to you)â, he said absentmindedly. He reopened his eyes, but they werenât focussing on anything particularly. He seemed a bit fazed out, but so were you. Maybe it was the potion, or it was the sudden awareness of your feelings and the position you found yourself in. You were trying to register what he had said previously. Did he smell you? it could be anyone, right? A lot of people must smell like that. You didnât want to get your hopes up. It would only lead to heartaches.Â
You fell back into reality, shaking your head lightly. Once your eyes were focussing again on the room you found yourself in, you realized how close you stood to one another. You must have subconsciously moved closer towards him. When you found the courage to look up, you found his clear blue eyes already trained on you. You felt very nervous underneath his gaze, as if you were being put on spot. You licked your lips as a sign of nerves. Your eyes roaming through the whole room, trying to avoid his gaze. You didnât know what to do. âNo, I canât do thisâ, he whispered, stepping a few steps back. âWhat do you mean?â, you were really confused. Did he meant to do something? You knew nothing could happen between the two fo you. It was wrong in many ways, but you couldnât help your feelings. You didnât really expect him to feel anything back. So this came as a hit in the face, as if there had been actual hope all along. âYou- youâre my student...â. You nodded slowly, still not getting exactly what he was on to. You had some speculations, but needed confirmation. You couldnât trust your intuition.Â
âI know.. In two months I wonât be. At least if I graduateâ. He shook his head lightly, going with his hand through his hair. âStill.. Iâm 5 years older than you. We canât do this..â, he pointed between the two of you. At that moment it hit you. Your speculations were confirmed. You were somewhat embarrassed for how long it had taken you to realize what was happening. âYou- you were considering that anything could happen between- between us?â, you stuttered, still not registering it completely. You were feeling like your ears were playing tricks on you. âMaybe...â, he said unsure. Even if you didnât had your hopes up for anything to happen, still somewhere deep down the sparks of it had hidden. Knowing that he had considered it, but refused to follow through with it, hurt you more than expected. Your eyes started to water, but kept the tear in. Of course he noticed the change. He stepped closer to you and wiped away the single tear that had fallen from your eye. âIâm sorry, love. Please donât cryâ. You forced a small chuckle, smiling at his loving face. âNo, itâs okay. Honestly, Itâs okayâ. Both your voices were quiet as they spoke, not willing to hurt the other even further.Â
You couldnât blame him for this decision. You couldnât ask such a thing, couldnât expect such a thing. It was against the rules. He needed to keep a certain distance with his students. The least you wanted was him to lose his job, because of your foolish crush. You respected his decision, even if it hurt. It would be for the better.Â
His hand was still on your cheek. It was soft and warm against your skin. You wanted to cherish this moment, even if it was going to break your heart as soon as it ended. His other hand comfortably rested on your waist. âScrew the rulesâ, he mumbled. Before you registered what was happening, his soft lips were capturing yours in an unexpected but loving kiss. It was soft and tender, but all the while it was full of love. Once the shock wore off, your hands fell to his chest. You softly grabbed the fabric of his sweater. You could feel his rapid heartbeat underneath your palm. He pulled you closer to his body, deepening the kiss. His hand went to the back of your head, not willing to break the kiss yet. Eventually you needed to do so, as you were running out of air. You kept your closeness, both recovering from the unexpected kiss.Â
âYou are going to be the death of me, loveâ,he said breathlessly. You chuckled at his comment, leaning in to his chest to cuddle him. You enjoyed the warmth and feeling of being wrapped up in his arms. You looked up at him, being met by his sweet smile and enchanting eyes. âLikewise, sirâ, you said before you captured his lips in a second kiss. This time even more passionate. The both of you smiled into it, feeling complete. It felt right. Even if you broke some rules, it was all worth it.Â

Summary: Draco and you loved to cuddle a lot, which resulted in getting in trouble once in a while.
Word count: 1,7 K (1704)
Authorâs note: I hope you enjoy this fic. It turned out longer than i meant to, but I also feel guilty for not posting so long. So longer fic it is. I hope you like it. I really try my best to post more, but deadlines are getting closer and so are my exams. I hope you all are doing safe. Much love x
Cuddling with Draco was one of your favorite things. Just laying in each other arms, creating a mess of limbs. You loved the warmth that radiated from his body, which was a nice comparison to his usual chilly room. However with winter approaching, it seemed to be even colder. You just wanted to hide under a big blanket and bury your face into Dracoâs neck to take in all his body warmth. But overall, you just loved being close to him. No matter what the situation was. You loved the feeling of his soft skin against yours, how his fingers carefully caressed your skin. Your nose would get filled with his subtle body odor, making you feel at home. And when you laid your head on his chest, the sound of the calm rhythm of his heartbeat worked as a perfect lullaby. In his arms you could truly relax and feel at peace. Cuddling was one of your ways to escape the worldâs problems. Even if it was for only a few minutes, both of you would give everything in exchange to just cuddle and snuggle for a few minutes.Â
You cuddled so much, even in between classes. But that came with the danger of being late and ending in detention. Once you were cuddling, you couldnât escape Dracoâs grip. As for now, you were in that exact position again. You had to attend Snapeâs class in only 10 minutes, or less. But Draco had no intention of stopping the cuddle session for class. So you needed to find a way to get both of you in Snapeâs class on time. Not that it mattered too much if Draco was late or not. He was Snapeâs favorite after all.Â
Your cuddle session had started off with you resting your head onto his chest. You softly drew patterns on his stomach, feeling his subtle abs underneath your fingertips. His shirt was buttoned open, as he was feeling too warm for some odd reason. No matter how extremely cold Hogwarts was, this boy never seemed to be cold in his life. The arm you were resting on, was wrapped around your waist, to keep you as close as possible. His other hand rested comfortably on your hip, caressing your skin underneath your skirt that had ridden up a bit. Eventually you ended up laying underneath him. He easily rolled the both of you over, ending up on top of you. His arms were wrapped around your neck, his head laying on your chest. His hands played with your hair, occasionally massaging you head. It was wonderful and truly an adorable sight to see. The smallest amount of sun light that shone through his window, made him look so majestic. His hair seemed to glow, contrasting against his dark clothes. He looked too good. You just couldnât resist the urge to play with his soft platinum hair as well, while you adored the sight in front of you.Â
Sadly enough, you really needed to get up, or you were surely getting detention. So you started to ruffle up his hair, making it look all messy. Normally this would annoy him immediately. But the only reaction you got out of him was a soft groan as he tightened his grip on you. âDraco, Darling. We really need to goâ, you tried to argue with him, hoping to get out of bed soon. But that was an unrealistic wish. You tried to wiggle yourself loose, but he wouldnât budge. His arms were too strong for you to get away from. Surely, when he literally had you trapped underneath his body. As you tried once more, he made an inaudible sound that sounded similar to a whimper. It made you giggle. It was cute, annoying sometimes, but overall just the most adorable thing ever. Draco always came off as a cold, closed off person that rarely show any signs of affection. But as he was around you, he just turned into a loving, cuddling sweetheart that showered you with his unknown love and affection.Â
âWe have 5 minutes left to get to Snapeâs class-â, he interrupted your sentence with a loud groan, âIf we leave now, we might make it just in timeâ. He ignored your statement, and kept himself in place. A minute later you felt his body lifting up a little. But before you could even move the slightest bit, he came down again. He had switched from laying on your chest, to burying his head in your neck. Every now and then he gave a little peck on the spot below your ear. He surely knew how to get his way with you. But you really hated detentions with Snape. âAs much as I love cuddling with you, I really donât want to land another detention. Snape might love you so much, but he hates the living hell out of meâ. He kissed down your neck with soft pecks and sneaky little nibbles. âJust a few more minutesâ, he mumbled in a pleading tone. You shook your head, but couldnât help the smile from creeping up your face. How were you so lucky to see this loving side of this cuddle bug. The urge to keep cuddling was getting more difficult to fight back. He just knew you too well. He knew your weak spots, and surely wasnât afraid to use them to get his way. He had a strong will. If he wanted to cuddle, that means he is going to cuddle you. Not that you are complaining. Just wouldâve been more fun when you didnât need to worry about what kind of punishment Snape would give you.Â
You ended up being 20 minutes late. How you had convinced Draco to eventually get up, was a mystery. As expected, you had landed yourself 3 detentions and needed to write a 20-page essay due to the next lesson. All the while, Draco only needed to sit one short detention. Which was really unfair. Snape always loved to pester you with annoying chores you had to do while detention. He truly annoyed the living hell out of you. While his perfect Slytherin students just were given warnings, or if they actually needed to be âpunishedâ he made them just sit 20 minutes in his classroom. He gave them no rules or anything. They just needed to be there 20 minutes and were good to go. But as you were together with Draco for over a year, you had gotten used to the detentions and other variations of his punishments. Snape could get creative with his ways of getting your blood to a boiling point.Â
Once the lesson was over, Draco started laughing at you as he left the classroom. You glared at his passing figure, rushing to pack your stuff before the git got away. You ran after him, hitting him on the head with one of your books that didnât fit in your bag. âDonât laugh at me. Youâre the one that is going to write that essayâ, you said seriously, or at least tried to. Whenever you were around Draco, you felt your sour moods vanish in no time. âWhy me?â, he smiled at you innocently. You raised your eyebrow, silently asking him if he was really asking you that question. But he made no sign of acknowledging the underlying meaning of your eyebrow raise, so you decided to answer him. âBecause itâs your fault I landed myself 3 detentions and have this stupid essay to writeâ. He acted to be offended, playfully laying his hand over his chest as he fake gasped. âMe?â âOh yes, darling. As much as I love cuddling you, I hate detentions more. So if you just had budged when I asked you too, we wouldnât even have this problem in the first placeâ. You were surprised to see him nod his head in agreement. He already had planned on writing it for you, when he first heard Snape announce your punishment for being late. He wouldnât let you suffer. He know how difficult essays were for you, so you were going to be writing none stop for the whole week. That would mean he couldnât cuddle you during that. So he preferred to take this upon himself and write it in just a day, as he actually was good with writing essays.Â
He wrapped his arm around your shoulder, pulling you into him so he could give the top of your head a kiss. âI was already planning to write it for you, love. Donât worry about itâ, A bright smile lightened up your face. âArenât you a gentleman?â, You teased him, but he knew well enough how thankful you were. âAlwaysâ, Draco winked at you, making your cheeks turn a light pink. Even after more than a year of dating Draco and being his girlfriend, you still got flustered whenever he did small things like this. But you loved them all the more.Â
As you came to the point where your paths separated, you halted Draco to peck him softly on the lips. âSeriously though, Thank you darling. Youâre the best, even if you can be a huge pain in the ass some timesâ. At the last part of your sentence he pushed you softly, resulting in you accidentally bumping into a passing student. You apologized and made sure they were alright, before you returned to your grinning boyfriend. âYou know I love youâ. He nodded with a grin: â Yeah, I knowâ. This time it was your turn to shove him, but it didnât really affected him. âDonât be so full of yourself. It doesnât suit youâ, he laughed his beautiful laugh, making you feel warm inside. The delighted sound made you feel so joyful. You gave him a final kiss, before leaving. Only to be pulled back into him, in a rather passionated kiss. As your lips parted to get some air, he whispered a soft âI love youâ. Even if he didnât said it as often, every time he does, he truly means it. And every time your heart fluttered at the sound of it. You really were lucky to be with this beautiful cuddle bug.
