“Envy me?” Kiara asked, Rather surprised by the words, but allowed the other to speak in order to understand. A small smile of appreciation formed on her lips as she tried to brush it off. “Honestly? All of the thanks goes to my Mom. She taught me the basics and once I got into high school it was a nice escape.”

“Oh, gosh- it’s no  problem!” Kiara said with a small and walking inside. As Kessa sat down at her desk, Kiara sat opposite of her and waited for her to begin. She knew it was probably for some music since she’s played at the gallery fairly often. The moment she heard the request, a nod followed and Kiara spoke. “Of course! I’m free for Friday.”

Her eyes were already eyeing a beautiful set of Red Velvet cupcakes before a small laugh escaped her and looked up at him. “You stopped to pet a dog-again! I deserve that delicious red velvet cupcake.” She countered with her friend. It was a debate they had often. He hated the flavor, she loved it.

Kiara had stopped in her job for a water break.  At the sound of someone talking to her, to the main sitting and raised an eyebrow. “Ghost Tours? What’s that?” She asked, not sure what he meant. 

“I’ve got nothin’ against cats,” he starts with a shrug before taking a sip of his beer. “But there’s just somethin’ about dogs that make them better. I know there’re some affectionate cats out there but havin’ a dog run at you after a long day at work is far more rewarding to me.” Logan raises a hand, “personal preference and all.”

“I feel as though Dogs are more empathetic, you know?” Kiara asked-going along with the conversation well. “I mean, If you show any sign of distress-most Dogs are very affectionate when they notice it. Cats are assholes about it and don’t really care.”
