Hippo Campus is a four-piece alternative rock band from Minnesota, made up of Jake Luppen, Zach Sutton, Nathan Stocker, and Whistler Allen. Their debut EP, Bashful Creatures, was released in February 2015, and features the hit singles “Suicide Saturday” and “Little Grace.” Their next EP, South, was released October 2, 2015, and is now available on iTunes and Spotify.

Jake is far too good for this world. Looks like an ethereal fairy prince but is actually the sweetest human person on this planet. Proficient in voice rasps and innuendos. Has been described as “a cheerily affable, lanky, pink-cheeked ex-Mormon who looks like he stepped out of an Archie comic.” You want to be as good as Jake, but unfortunately, no.
Zach Sutton / Espo (bassist, backing vocals) : : @/espocampus on twit and ig
I honestly don’t even know where Zach was before summer 2015, but there is this one lanky nerd with a sidecut and black glasses in some of their earlier videos that I think might have been his cousin or something. Zach looks like a v tall person that you would not want to fight, but the truth is, you should definitely fight him up real good. A dweeby stick-bug who is 900% legs and too snarky for his own good. Asking to be fought. Fight Zach.
Nathan Stocker / Stitches (guitarist, backing vocals)
*Ben Wyatt voice* “Stitches? Never heard of it!” Nathan is like the most scarily talented guitarist out there and is the most tiny precious bug, do not forget abt him. There is not enough of him to go around. If Jake’s not singing but there’s still some kinda heavenly noise flowin out the speakers, u kno it’s Nathan. Baby Harry Styles but less British and probably more friendly. You wanna be friends w Nathan, and he wants to be friends w u so congrats! (pc unicursally)
Whistler Allen / Beans (drummer, backing vocals)
Amazing. Whistler does more physical activity in one show than i’ve done since the first grade. So smol and presh that if u look in the dictionary under ‘adorable’, it’s just that picture. Looks 79% done w the world 648% of the time, but he rlly just wants ur love and support. Talk to him abt food, he definitely wants 2 talk abt food.
