It’s been nearly 10 years since I fell in love with Daft Punk, I was 15 when I rediscovered them in 2012, and since then I haven’t stopped listening to all their albums. I remembered the feeling when RAM came out the following year, everyone loved it, we talked about it the entire year.

What I loved about Daft Punk; their anonymity and their unique combination of traditional and modern sounds, and the fact that they are robots. I remembered being so astounded as a teenager when I first watched Interstella 5555. And I couldn’t stop listening to Discovery and Human After All during my growing up years. Homework was pretty hard for me appreciate during my younger days, and it’s funny how my all time favourite song is Revolution 909.

When the news came out yesterday, it hurt all of us. We all felt it. But legends will never die. I will never stop drawing them and I will cherish what we have.
