I think one of my favorite quirks about the Eighth Doctor is his tendency to repeat himself when he gets excited.
And it carries over into the Audios. I don’t know if it is McGann, or something he injected into this character alone, but I like it. I do wish his pick pocketing skills were used more.

I love making lists so here are things I would like to see in the future reveal of doctor who:
Susan: give her a proper return, reunited with the doctor finally, see how she's been doing and why she was a creepy hallucination
Timelords: I would like their whole deal to be sorted out once and for all, like officially whether dead forever or alive again I would just like them to stick to one FULLY.
Timeless child: I think with more expansion the timeless child arc could be great I am really interested in seeing more
Toymaker legion: I would genuinely like to see the different gods around and how they work/related to the toymaker. I would wanna see how the doctor would deal with so many things naturally illogical if that makes sense.
alien companion: PLEASE as much as I love human companions we have had so much of them in a row I would like something different. It's a show about space after all. wouldn't it be cool to see an alien experience earths history for the first time
Companion support group: this might be self indulgent but I would like to see how the old companies are doing especially after the world dying due to sand stuff.
Consequences: here's the thing, we have a lot of companies leave either somewhat traumatized or dead which is a consequence, but I would like to see a character/companion who is physically changed due to adventures, e.g something like when peri got changed into a harpy except permanent, which is carried throughout the seasons not just in one episode.

BILLIE PIPERS DOCTOR
As much as I'm annoyed about another old cast member into the role of the doctor without much consideration, I think if done right she could be a great reflection for the doctor and a way to build more on that healing arc
I would just hate for her to be reconed especially without having a chance
Imagine your coworkers are exes but they both hate you so much that they get back together over it

Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't remember a single time the doctor said "I love you". 15 learned to say it. 15 was vulnerable in a way I don't really think the doctor has ever been. And then he regenerated with the face of the first person he couldn't say it to. Like I'm sorry but I wanted to see that

I really hope they don't make us wait a decade or more like with the classic Doctor Who era after declaring the hiatus... hopefully maybe just 2 or 3 years... I was so looking forward to the Christmas Special this year, especially after the cliffhanger. I hope they resolve what happened at the end of the previous season and we get to see Billie as the Doctor have an adventure...
In case you weren't mad enough here's some arcs in RTD 2.0 that will probably never get picked back up if/when the show comes back:
- Susan: where is she? what she doing being a cryptic hallucination? We will probably never know
- Rouge: yeah the doctor is never finding his ass at this point
- the red finger nail person: we still have no clue who picked up the tooth master, like no clue at all
- "the boss": the threat from the meep wasn't mentioned for a while, then was alluded to in the time hotel, then never brought up again
- the legion: ik we've had the maestro and the goblins but that's all, I was expecting it to be a looming thing
- Ms flood: with how doctor who is by nature, it will probably be sadly forgotten that she slipped away
