Chapter 1

In a world where 80% of the planet’s population is gifted with superpowers, there are some people who get the short end of the stick. One boy had to learn this the hard way…

This is not one person's story, but another’s.

A young boy, ten years of age with fossil-gray hair and dark-reddish-brown eyes, was sitting on the balcony of his apartment, icing a bruise on his shoulder. He wore a black tank-top with a wolf pattern printed on it. He also wore shorts, sandals, and a circular red pendant with the image of a star on it. But the spark in his eyes was gone, after enduring years of abuse from his father.

The boy’s name was Damian Jones, and he once wished to become a superhero, now, he wished he was dead.

His father, Donovan, was a mentally unstable man that his one link left from snapping; his first wife, Stephanie, was dead. Not recently, she died when their son was born. Already, his mind began to slip into insanity, but he didn’t hurt Damian, because he still thought he needed a mother figure in his life. Samantha, Damian’s stepmother, entered the two’s life when he was only one. But even having a mom couldn’t stop his father’s sanity drifting away from him.

Damian had no friends growing up, mostly because he was being ostracized for being stuck without a quirk, and he was teased by his peers. , he stumbled upon a green-haired boy curled up in a ball with singed clothes, cowering from the insults thrown at him by a red-eyed, blonde-haired asshole. “Come on Deku, GET UP AND FIGHT YOU QUIRKLESS SCRUB!” screamed the blonde, the poor green-haired kid screamed in agony. “Kacchan, please stop! You’re scaring me,” this kid, nicknamed ‘Deku’ meekly said, but his pleas fell on deaf ears, as the blonde conjured an explosion from the palm of his hand. 

“HEY!” Both boys looked to see Damian charging at them, his eyes turning maroon to crimson, to blood red. “Leave the kid alone, douchebag. Can’t you see you’ve caused enough trauma?!” He yelled at the blonde boy, who started to accelerate at the gray-haired boy. “Who do YOU think you are to think you can yell at me, he’s useless now, and he always will be quirkless De-”

The blonde was instantly knocked to the ground with one roundhouse kick to the jaw, rendering him unconscious. Damian turned around to check on the green-haired boy, who was still shivering from what was gonna happen to him. “Aren’t you gonna hurt me? I’m quirkless.” 

“No…”

“What?”

“I honestly don’t give a damn about you being quirkless, because I’m also quirkless. I just clocked him,” Damian said, Deku couldn’t believe it. “What’s your name?”

“Izuku Midoriya.”

“Damian Jones,” the gray-haired said as he extended his hand. Izuku obliged as he extended his and was helped back to his feet. But the moment he stood up, the blonde bully, nicknamed Kacchan, started to groan as he slowly started to wake up from his dirt nap.

“We gotta scramble, before this guy is up and at ‘em, or it’s gonna be our necks,” Damian said as he grabbed Midoriya’s hand and ran out of the park into the far end of the park, where that blonde twit wouldn’t find them. After running what felt like forever, they reached the gate of Izuku’s apartment building, the two briskly pacing up the stairs.

“Mom, I’m home,” he called out to whoever was present in the space. Suddenly, a middle-aged woman with her hair the same shade of green as Deku’s hair came out of the kitchen. From the look of her eyes and her hair color, this woman was Midoriya’s mother. But where was his dad though? Maybe at wo-

“What happened to you?” Izuku’s mother asked, concerned after noticing his singed clothes and small burns on his arms and legs.

‘Time to say it,’ Damian told himself. Out loud. “Oh, hello,” the kind-hearted-but-slightly-frantic Missus greeted Damian after suddenly noticing him standing there. The two boys exchange looks, Izuku not wanting to worry his mother anymore, but Damian’s look says that he has no other choice.

“Kacchan did this.”

To say her mother was shocked would be an understatement. She started shedding some tears as she hugged her son, apologizing that she was never strong enough to really look out for her little boy. She promised she’ll call Kacchan’s mother so Izuku can be gifted with an apology. Damian pitied Izuku as he wondered how long he managed to hide this secret from her, but couldn’t help but feel a small pang of envy seeing a parent that actually worries about their child.

After a different playdate at Izuku’s, one that involved him playing board games that resulted in a lot of groans from whoever lost the game of UNO and Monopoly. But then, it was 6:37, time for Damian to head home. Thankfully, his house was only on the other side of the park.

“Thanks for your hospitality, Mrs Midoriya,” Damian said as he was accompanied to the main doors of the building. “See you next week,” Damian said to the Midoriyas as he started his trip home.

But little did he know that that one moment of happiness would be his last…

Alive at least…

As Damian kept a brisk pace around the pathways of the park, he felt as if there was something that was following him. He suddenly caught the glimpse of a shadow that ominously began to follow him around, saying antagonizing remarks at him. It didn't feel human, but it was nothing more than just a figment of his imagination. 

But, when he arrived at his apartment, his father grabbed his scrawny arm, his index finger seeping into a wound from the last lashing he inflicted. Causing Damian to scream in pain as he felt his arm being squeezed by a steel-like grip as he was thrown to ground, resulting in him hitting his head.

“WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN, DIPSHIT!?” Donovan barked as he kicked his son’s stomach, forcing him to cough up blood and bile while desperately trying to breathe.

“Dad, please! Stop” Damian desperately pleaded as his father beat him again and again with a leather strap, leaving more bruises upon his ribcage and back. His cries just became louder and more raspy as he cried rivers as more blood seeped from open wounds.

Finally, his sanity slipping, his father grabbed a shotgun off the mantelpiece and fired two shots. One through his forehead, and one more through his heart. Samantha had enough and desperately called the police. They came and promptly had Donovan taken to the station. He was eventually given three years in prison with three more on probation. She wished she had the power to change what has passed, but there was no changing the facts.

Damian Jones, a boy of only 10 years, was dead.

Six months ago, the war between the heroes and villains was won. 

Shigaraki was defeated and is scheduled to be executed along with All For One so nothing like this will happen again; the world is now at peace. Classes 1A and 1B have suffered a lot of minor injuries (some more than others), but thankfully nothing fatal, all walking from the battle victorious (except Mineta, because he was squashed flat by a giant beast). The heroes who have fought life and limb for the world were now able to breathe some fresh air of freedom and victory, but not before mourning those who have lost their lives in battle. And at Class A, the students decided to hold a private party. Among the 20 students was young Akio Koutau, a former transfer student and in a year and three months, he and his fellow classmates are soon to be pro heroes.

It’s October now. UA High has decided to provide a two-week break for all classes to rest. After classes were dismissed for the day, Class A’s resident alien queen proposed an idea. “Costume party on Halloween!” She cried out, to be followed by lots of cheering from the residents of the dorm complex. Everyone was wondering what theme the party should be. Eventually, it was decided the theme should be a duo cosplay. The couples, which consisted of Koutau and Jiro, Midoriya and Uraraka; Asui and Tokoyami, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, Kirishima and Bakugo, Kaminari and Ashido, and Hagakure and Ojiro, quickly paired with each other. The remaining classmates had to figure out their pairs, eventually all pairs were set. 

“So, what duo ideas were you guys thinking of?” Akio asked Midoriya and Todoroki. “Yaoyorozu suggested that the both of us do Gomez and Morticia, but I think she is still thinking of other choices,” the dual-haired boy answered the singer hero while showing an image of the aforementioned gothic couple. “And what about you, Deku” “Well, Ochaco and I settled on Peter Pan and Wendy, but were still pondering of doing it normally, or do a genderbend version, since her quirk can make stuff float,” Deku answered Tenor’s question, showing picture of a boy with pointy ears and green clothes with a girl in her nightgown. “So, what about you and Jiro?” Kaminari suddenly asked Koutau, surprising the trio. “Well, we honestly have no clue. I have some ideas for duo cosplay, but they’re mostly from some of my favorite musicals, but other than that, we don’t really have any choices,” the blunette answered the blonde. 

But all of a sudden, Shota Aizawa, Class A’s advisor, and Pro Hero Eraserhead, entered into the common room with a now seven-year-old Eri. His personality has certainly changed a significant bit since the war, mostly due to him taking care of the girl for a little over a year, granted he still is exhausted and brash towards his students, but he still has softened up for the sake of his adoptive daughter. The students all quickly crowded Eri, welcoming the shy girl with open arms. “Hi, Eri. Kamusta ka ngayong araw?“ Koutau greeted Eri in his native tongue. Eri has also been hanging out with him more often, allowing him to teach Tagalog to her, she’s gotten used to basic greetings, but she’s still practicing prolonged conversation. “Masarap ang pakiramdam ko, Koutau-san. Salamat,” she greeted back, earning a smile from the Filipino lad.

“AAAAHHHHHHHH!”

The moment of peace was suddenly interrupted by a scream, startling everyone. The scream came from Jiro as she blindly ran out of the late blue and pink afternoon, through the common room, covering her head with her jacket, concealing her face and hair. But Akio noticed a flash of something yellow and sapphire-blue following her. “Kyoka, wait! What’s wrong?” He called, following the girl to the elevator, but the doors closed before he could make it. So he ran up the stairs to her dorm as fast as his legs could carry him, but Jiro quickly slammed her door before Akio had the chance to stop it. “Kyoka, what’s up in there? Can I come in?” “Not now, earbud. I’m not feeling well,” Kyoka said on the other side of the door. “Please, if there’s something wrong, tell me.”

“Please, not now, nya,” Akio’s ears twitched at the last thing he heard before hearing Jiro grunting in defeat. “I’ll let you in…” Jiro said as she opened the door to reveal her now wearing a beanie over her head, but somehow, the hat was twitching once or twice, yet her ear-jacks were hanging normally out of the beanie. “Close the door, I don’t want anyone seeing me like this,” she requested. Akio obliges and closes the door before locking it just for good measure. Jiro timidly removed the beanie, exposing something under it. He turned to see her but something was different about her: her hair was the same, but she had purple triangular ears with yellow canals on top of her head alongside her normal ears, her fangs appeared sharper than usual, and the flash of blue and yellow was a tail! Jiro suddenly became a neko!

“Kyoka, why do you have cat ears and a tail?” He questioned his girlfriend’s odd new appearance. “Okay, so I was walking back to the dorms from the record store, yes I asked permission,” she retorted. “But on the way, I accidentally bumped into someone on the sidewalk, and I dunno if this was his quirk or if he had some kind of quirk dispenser, but I just don’t like this,” she explained, her cat ears leaning towards the back of her head. She put the beanie back, but her feline ears made the hat look like an undone tent. “I just don’t like this ~nya~.” She grunted again after saying that last word. But she was even more shocked by Akio suddenly sweeping her off her feet, picking her up bridal style and laying her down on her bed, turning on the electronic piano, and calmed her with some of the softest and smoothest tunes that could soothe choppy waters.

After the music, Akio turned to Jiro who was now cuddled up into a loaf-ball. As he was about to fluff her tail, he heard something he’d never thought he’d hear: Jiro purring. His heart felt like exploding inside his chest as his eyes focused on this adorable sight that lay before him. But suddenly, he has a sudden curious glint in his eye, entranced by his girlfriend’s soft tail and fluffy ears. His fingers twitched as he had a sudden urge to touch the ears, which now were leaning towards the front of her head. But he quickly fell to the floor as she stirred up. “Don’t touch my ears, nya. Ugh,” she wanted this cat thing away, if her grunts of disapproval weren’t evidence enough. But Akio could notice a sudden shake in her voice, she was scared and sad about this effect from a strange quirk as tears slowly started dripping down her cheeks.

“Kyoka, don’t worry. I may not know how it feels, but I’ll be with you to help you get back to normal,” Akio said, as he cupped her cheek, and gave her a kiss and a hug to comfort her as he wiped away her tears. But that quiet moment was suddenly disturbed by a knock on the door. “Jiro? Are you alright?” a maternal voice called out from the other side. Akio opens the door to reveal both of their respective friends: Izuku Midoriya and Momo Yaoyorozu. Jiro quickly fumbled for her hat and quickly pulled it over her head, then wrapped a blanket around her waist to cover tail. “So, Midoriya, I think it’s best if the girls have some privacy, come on.” Akio then promptly escorts the green-haired freckle boy as the girl with a messy ponytail tries to talk to her closest friend.

“So, what happened?” Midoriya asked Akio with a puzzled look, squinting his freckles. “Well, long story short, she got hit by a quirk that made her into a neko.” Izuku was confused. “She has cat ears and a tail, and also developed a bit of a cat’s mindset. Mainly she purrs, and demands cuddles, more than usual I’d say,” Midoriya was surprised at not only the blunt description, but also the description that one of the toughest kids in class suddenly had the semi-appearance of a cat.

With Kyoka

“Kyoka, are you okay?” asked the wealthy girl, concerned for her best friend. “No, I’m not,” she said in honesty and defeat, as she took off the hat and blanket, revealing her new ears and tail. “I was heading back to the dorms from the record shop down the street, when I bumped into some guy, and he accidentally set off his quirk.” Her ears drooped towards the sides. It was evident that she didn’t want this to happen.

3rd Person POV

A few days later, the ‘villain’ was finally caught after giving a man the ears, tail and snout of a pitbull, they were arrested and sent to the Musutafu Police Station for questioning. Akio read this in the latest article, and sought this opportunity to somehow figure out how to find a possible solution, because Eri tried to do it, but it didn’t work.

It was just a few days left before October 31.

At the station, Akio and Kyoka were joined by their respective parent/s and Mr Aizawa. When they arrived at the prison the officer let only Kyoka and Akio into the room, but they were surprised at the appearance of this peculiar delinquent. The culprit was not a man, but in fact, a girl, around 20 years old with ochre colored hair with matching rabbit ears on top of her head instead of on the sides like Mirko, but she had the nose and heterochromic eyes (the left eye was a golden yellow, and the other was light blue) of the cat, the hairstyle similar to a horse’s mane, and the tail of a dog. 

“Okay, so, hello,” Akio tried to start as he opened a manila envelope with the girl’s information. “What is your name, and how does your quirk function?”

The girl, named Hayashi Ushijima, explained everything. “My quirk is called ‘Spiritual Animalia’ it analyzes one’s personality and instantaneously gives them partial features and fragments of their animal’s mindset,” the animalistic girl explained as she answered all

“Okay, so… Can you help my girlfriend?” Akio bluntly asked, hoping that he’ll at least know it’ll go away for his girlfriend’s sake. 

“...sorry, but I’m still trying to control doing felines, but her ears and tail will possibly disappear within next month,” Hayashi informed. A gloom cloud appeared over Kyoka’s head as she’s now gonna have to deal with the ears and tail until who knows how long, while Akio saw the animalistic girl told the truth and tried to reassure his girlfriend that even if they had to wait, it hopefully won’t have to be that long.

With all questions answered, they returned to the dorms. But they were suddenly greeted by Izuku, Mina, Denki, Ochaco, Shoto and Momo. “So, how’d it go? Is it gonna go away?” The brunnette asked the group. 

“Not good, but not too bad either,” Akio answered. “The fugitive said that it’s most likey that the ears and tail will be gone sooner than later, but there’s no answer as to how long this symptom’s gonna last.” But then Mina suddenly had an idea that the music couple could use to their advantage, but she was smart enough to hold her tongue at the moment before she could tell the purplette her idea. 

After about an hour of silence, Mina first checked Kyoka’s dorm if the latter was there, if not, then she’d be in her boyfriend’s room. And lo and behold, she was in her room.

“Hey, Jiro,” the alien girl said in a more caring tone than usual. But then again, “I might have an idea for your Halloween pairing…”

TIMESKIP

The day of the Halloween party was just tomorrow. The school yards were decorated with plastic tombstones, while the hallways were lined with orange, green and black streamers, with a fake jack-o-lantern in front of each door leading to either a classroom or faculty office.

Students were pouring left and right through corridors, either because of extra decorations, missing costume pieces, or because they were given errands by the teachers. However, six students felt like burning some of Endeavor’s cash, so it was off to the mall.

FLASHBACK

While Akio and Kyoka were at the station, Mina and Denki decided to play something on the latter’s switch. Ehile they were playing Animal Crossing, Mina suddenly had an epiphany: an idea that the music couple could use for the party. Denki was instantly onboard with it.

SNAP BACK TO REALITY 

“What are you guys up to this time” Kyoka questioned in her typical deadpan tone. Mina was in her usual bubbly attitude as she brought Kyoka to the women’s clothes section, as Momo helped look with her alien friend for something for her best friend. Meanwhile, Kaminari took Akio and Shoto to the men’s section do the same thing for his former rival.

“…That’s it?” Akio questioned Kaminari as all he got was a plain red shirt, black shorts and brown shoes. “Yep! Trust me bud, this’ll work,” the blonde assured the singer. As for the girls, the larger portion of the spending was to them as they bought a short white dress, black eyeliner, gold-colored sandals and a necklace adorned with glass sapphires, rubies and emeralds. 

After they returned to the dorms, Mina and Kaminari showed the music couple their idea. “I… I dunno,” Akio said, thinking this might not be a good idea, but Kyoka started thinking this could work, besides, she’s still gonna have to cope with this until who knows how long, might as well get used to it.

I SWEAR THIS IS THE LAST TIME I’LL DO IT…

It’s officially Halloween, the school is alive with fun, spooky excitement. Class 1B has made a short horror film, that was actually a failed attempt because of Honenuki’s lack of editing knowledge. As for Class 1A, they held their contest over who had the best costume pairing. 

Hagakure’s hands and face were wrapped in gauze wrap except for her eyes, which was covered by a pair of steampunk goggles, while Ojiro wore a black suit.

While Denki wore a slightly more stylized suit than Ojiro, Mina stole the spotlight, wearing a glittering sequined dress and a top hat that went with the dress.

Tsuyu was dressed in a blue and lilac patterned dress, with a head-ribbon in her hair, while Tokoyami was clothed in fancy robes of red, gold, white and black patterns similar to playing cards

Kirishima’s hair was noticeably darker than his standard red, as he was dressed in a male version of a female protagonist’s usual attire, even having a prop spellbook in hand with him. While Bakugo had fake extensions on his ears to make them appear more pointy, like Amajiki’s ears. His blonde hair was now tied in a mid-ponytail and he wore a male version of his character’s usual attire.

Todoroki and Momo were definitely one of the best dressed. While Momo wore an elegant white dress with a green and red corset with gold lacing, Shoto wore the most fancy tuxedo, complete with a fedora, and a ghost-white mask, now flipped to the left side of his face to cover his burn.

Izuku was dressed in a green tunic with dark green tights and matching cap, as Ochaco was wearing a cute satin-blue nightgown with a complimentary bow. But what made the pair the most peculiar is the both of them flying about. Finally…

Akio and Kyoka showed up. Akio’s look was rather basic; a red T-shirt with the number one in bright blue, with black shorts and brown shoes, Kyoka’s look stole the show. Her costume consisted of a white sleeveless dress with a broad-collar adorned with red, green and blue jewels, blue cuffs on her arms and ankles, a gold-and-blue cobra emblem in her hair to compliment her ears and tail and gold sandals. To say she was beautiful would be an understatement. She looked like Egyptian royalty.

In the end, nobody won the contest. Because it was just for fun. The classes then went trick-or-treating around the campus, and managed to collect enough sweets to last ‘em until New Years. 

At least the cat problem was all said and done in the morning.

Mercury: Gender: Male. Mercury would be an athlete, specifically an Olympic runner, due to the planet racing round the Sun faster than all the other planets. Mercury would wear a gray sleeveless shirt with No. 1 on front, some brown running shorts, gym socks, arm bands (one red and one blue), a headband to hold his messy hair in place, and sneakers with some winglike designs to reference the Roman God the planet is based on. He would probably also have some bandages and bruises to reference how many times Mercury’s been battered by meteors.

Venus: Gender: Female. Venus would be a fashion model with the beauty of Kim Kardashian, Marylin Monroe and Diana Ross all rolled into one. She usually wears thin clothes, usually in shades of yellows, oranges and whites. Her usual attire consists of a yellow and white striped crop top, some jean shorts, some fancy heels and a translucent orange robe to mimic the planet’s cloudy atmosphere.

Earth: Gender: Female. Earth would be a mother to her child, Luna, hence the term “Mother Earth”. She would wear clothes usually simple, yet elegant, usually blue, white and green in colors, she’d always wear a flowery headdress, a wooden bead necklace, and some bamboo platforms under a blue and green tie-dye skirt.

Mars: Gender: Male. Mars would be a soldier, because he was named after the God of War. Mars would wear a camouflage-styled military jacket, but red in color (obviously), some military pants, heavy-duty boots and his cap would be a mix between a WW2 helmet, and a Roman soldier helmet. He would also have a scar on his cheek, referencing the Valles Marineris canyon (which is 20 times wider and 5 times deeper than the Grand Canyon).

Jupiter: Gender: Male. Jupiter would be “the King of the Planets” because he is the largest. Think of him as a more humble Henry VIII, but he ain’t married. He’d either be round or buff, but he usually wear a brown-grey-white-yellow-and-orange striped sweater over it. His khaki pants would be held up by an brown belt with a crimson oval-shaped buckle to mimic the Great Red Spot. And he’d always wear a small crown made of paper because he’s “the king”.

Saturn: Gender: Female. Saturn would be a fashion designer / glamorous movie star. She’d usually wear a wide-brimmed hat to mimic her rings, she’d usually a flowing dress with stripes of yellow, faded green and light orange, her hair is always long and curled at the end, she’s also sport lot of jewelry: rings, bracelets, earrings, necklace, anything that looks fancy.

Uranus: Gender: Female. Uranus would be an asmr artist / heavy-duty sleeper. She would usually some comfy pajamas, usually in shades of teal and turquoise. When going out, she’d just put on a cerulean hoodie, so she’d easily take a nap anywhere. She’d also carry a copy of Shakespeare everywhere she went (this is in reference to the fact that the planet’s 27 moons are named after characters from Shakespeare).

Neptune: Gender: Male. Neptune would be a surfer, because he’s named after the God of the Sea. He’d wear a cobalt blue Hawaiian shirt, with wave design, on the back is a spiral shape in reference to the planet’s many hurricanes. He’d also sport a shark-tooth necklace, some dark blue shorts and sky blue sandals. His surfboard would also have image of a trident engraved on it.

My name is Akio Koutau, Singing Hero: Tenor. I am 17 years old, and I’m training to become a pro hero. My quirk is a sound based quirk that allows me to cause different effects with my voice when I sing. I transferred to U.A. High School about six months ago after being trained by my mother; the Philippines’ no. 1 Hero, Sampaguita, and I’ve had quite the experience in my new school life. I made some new friends, was able to perform in front of the entire school, and I even found myself a girlfriend in fellow classmate Kyoka Jiro, Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack. But a few months ago, something horrible happened.

School was postponed due to a front occurring between the Pro Heroes and Villains. U.A. High volunteered to assist the hero forces to raid Jaku Hospital due to a set experiments involving Nomus (hideous creatures with stolen quirks) and Tomura Shigaraki. I was asked to join the raiding division, which was led by Edgeshot, along with Tokoyami; Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi, and Denki Kaminari; Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt (I still remembered one particular day during hero training where Denki kept charging at me due to me “stealing his girlfriend”. I had to constantly dodge his attacks until he finally went into short circuit mode). Jiro was placed on reconnaissance with Momo Yaoyorozu; Everything Hero: Creati, Eijiro Kirishima; Sturdy Hero: Red Riot, Mina Ashido; Pinky, Mashirao Ojiro; Martial Arts Hero: Tailman and resident perv Minoru Mineta; Fresh-Picked Hero: Grape Juice (but I usually call him Horny Rape Grape because of his antics). Izuku Midoriya; Deku, Katsuki Bakugo; Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight (or just call him Kacchan), Ochaco Uraraka; Uravity, and the rest were in charge of the evacuation process. 

A large wave of electricity was sent careening towards us, caused by the Vice Commander of the Liberation War Front. I and a lot of other heroes charging towards the hospital would’ve been fried to a crisp if it wasn’t for Kaminari conducting the electricity. Cementoss busted down the walls with a slab of liquid cement, and Rabbit Hero Mirko chased after Dr Garaki, a scientist in charge of turning Shigaraki into the next All For One. The fight between her and a barrage of Nomus cost her right leg and left arm, and half her right ear. The current No. 1 Hero Endeavor (now that the Symbol of Peace, All Might, was forced into retirement) and my mom was able to save her, before the fight moved to the city.

We were able to apprehend a number of villains, but Hawks was severely wounded by Dabi (more on him later) after Hawks killed Twice. I witnessed the death firsthand after I was told to follow with Tokoyami. He summoned Dark Shadow, hauling the three of us away, we met up with Kaminari and the rest. 

Suddenly, a giant beast bursts out of the ground. Shoji saw it, Jiro heard it, we all felt the ground shake. But we were determined to stop it by making the beast fall asleep. Yaoyorozu made a large amount of containers with a special formula concocted to make this giant fall asleep. Kirishima scaled this thing, Jiro plugged her earjacks into her boots, I set my autotuner to rock ‘n’ roll and we tried to force the beast’s mouth open while Mt Lady tried to stop it from rampaging to the city. It took a lot of effort, but we finally did it. 

But the battle wasn’t over, far from it. We couldn’t join the rest of the forces in the city, it was too far away. Shigaraki woke up from an experimental coma, forcing the city into rubble, Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki and even Mirio (who miraculously got his quirk back thanks to Eri) had to fight alongside the pro heroes. Mr Aizawa, my class’ homeroom adviser, was shot in the leg by a quirk-erasing bullet, forcing to quickly amputate it. Suddenly, Dabi revealed his true identity: Toya Todoroki. I couldn’t believe my ears, a dangerous villain turns out to be the long-lost son of the current No. 1 Hero. We were shocked, but after another blast of ash and dust, we were able to see the entire city was laid to waste. 

My ears were ringing for a few moments, a large gash was on my arm and bleeding, staining my costume with blood, and my eyes could barely see five feet in front of me. After the dust settles, I quickly ran to the city to check on Midoriya and the rest, Jiro saw me running to the city and followed me to where I was going. I turned on my earpiece, trying to call any hero that survived. Midoriya was barely conscious, Bakugo’s arm was bleeding, Uraraka was battered, but was helping Koda with searching for civilians trapped in the rubble. I tried calling for Crust, no response. Suddenly, Mina’s voice chimed into my earpiece, she was drowning in tears, Ms Midnight was dead. I ran through the rubble, screaming for Sampaguita.

Then I stumbled upon her. I was horrified, her left leg was covered in glass, and a steel beam was driven through her stomach. I kept screaming in agony, I lost my mother, she died a martyr, and there was nothing I could do about it. Jiro tried to comfort me, but I didn’t want comfort, I wanted her back. Once everyone recovered from their injuries and went back to the dorms, I went to my room, and wouldn’t you know it, the moment I closed the door, my dad called. I answered, he knew about what happened. He told me that a funeral was gonna be held back in the Philippines in about a week, and he wrote down the eulogies, and I have to read them. 

When the call ended, Jiro came into my room to comfort me, but I wanted to vent, so I asked Yaomomo to make a pair of tap shoes for me (I find either playing some hard rock music or dancing a great way to vent my frustration). She did, after some hesitation, and so put on my earphones and played a song called Town Called Malice as I vented my anger to the energy in my feet. I first danced in my dorm, before I decided to get some air, so I didn’t stop dancing, even when I reached the elevator. When I got to the common room, me dancing my heart out and my ass off obviously caught everyone off guard. But when I got to the front door, I didn’t open it, but just slammed my back to it and screamed at the top of my voice before breaking down into tears again. This time the whole damn class came and comforted me, as not only was my mother gone, but a part of me.
