But yes 100% agreed, I obviously don't keep Feli young for as long as canon does but I think him being stunted is like essential to him as a character tbh. It reminds me of when popstars get popular when they're young and basically remain that age forever except in Feli's case he was basically only appreciated when acting young/childish + add to that (at least in my hcs wjsnsns) Savi accidentally being neglectful and forgetting he isn't like 5 years old anymore and it's like 🤔🤔

I think it's a mix of him just wanting to be liked for stability and being liked = acting childish so that's the result but he also does genuinely want to get back control of his life (ik that may seem weird but for example canonically he does straight up not let Savi/Romano do his side of the work, there's other stuff like this too)

+ with the whole unification being called resurgence (Risorgimento) I feel like that ties back to this whole thing too.
