“If the mission was to put on red lipstick then yes. In fact you passed with flying colors and your parents are exceptionally proud and waiting to hang your report card on the fridge.” Eunchae giggled, leaning against the mirror as Bomi worked on her lips. “Do they make all you trainees do your own makeup these days? What cheapskates tch”

A smile came across Miyoung’s face. It was nice to know that someone was actually interested in her life - or part of it. ‘’I was born in London but moved to Seoul when I was 5, I’m really fluent in both Korean and English, even though I speak more Korean than actually English so.. I guess I’m better at it?’’, she starts rambling while picking up her nails, trying to tell everything. ‘’Also, I didn’t had that many problems? I mean I was quite fluent in the language but when I was still in school, I wasn’t a trainee yet, I had some people that made fun of me being from another place and having a different family’’, Miyoung nods her head. ‘’I’d be more than happy to be part of that piece, unnie! You can count on me, only if my company allows it, though.’’

“Ahh yes the dreaded company permission.” She said shaking her head from left to right in mock disapproval. “They’re more powerful than gods always telling you guys what to do and how to do it. Hey if they try and get you on any ridiculous diets for Star I’m gonna start packing you lunches to take. I hope you like kimbap because that’s really all I know how to make.” She smiled at her dongsaeng warmly. She sincerely hoped she would keep her vibrance and the path of an idol wouldn’t end up weighing on her the way Eunchae had seen it weigh on so many others. “But really? You’d be willing to take on a project with me? Ahh I knew there was a reason I liked you, kid.” 

Miyoung let out a laugh as soon as she heard the words of the older female. She knew she was, indeed, a baby - but not that much of a baby to not understand some type of things, she decided to keep the subject away, anyways. It would be a shame to speak of it, being miyoung a just turned 18 years old teenager. ‘’I never tasted that type of food nor I’ll taste it but when I see it in movies it looks really.. disgusting?’’, she said, without even being sure if she was using the right word to describe it and literally beliving that the other had tried it. ‘’Unnie, did you eat that type of food? Was it good or was it like nasty nasty?’’. Also, the younger girl tried to stop looking at the camera but she couldn’t really help but to make cute moviments, so the other could catch it.

Her eyebrows raised in surprise at the accent accompanying the trainee’s english. With this new opportunity in sight, she almost forgot about her current job. “Whoa what do you know. You’re not from Korea are you? Your speaking’s so natural I would never have noticed” The movement from her camera’s screen prompted her to look down and view Miyoung from its lense, “Have you had any trouble with anyone since coming here to train? I would love to do a piece sometime that shows the lives of trainees who come from overseas. People say they’re treated the same but I’m not convinced.”

‘’So anyways, how are you feeling today? Did you drink some coffee so you wouldn’t fall asleep while practicing?’’, Miyoung asks while lying on her back, in the middle of the practice room. ‘’If everything’s working out in the wrong way then I’ll tell you some lame jokes I learned yesterday from this sunbae. Like, if hotels have suite rooms do they also have sweet rooms?’’

The girl giggled behind her tripod, zooming in on the trainee’s vibrant expression. Eunchae had been hired to film some shots of the practice rooms for a new Prism Entertainment promotional video, but she had to admit she had expected them to be empty. She much preferred this alternative though because rooms with people in them were much more interesting. Perhaps Prism wanted to capture a more organic mood with this video. “There’s only one place I can think of that have both and that’d be a love hotel in Japan. You shouldn’t know about those things yet though, you look like you’re practically a baby.” She said with a smile, “Omo what to do with these cradle robber companies...” She said in jest with a shake of her head, “You’ll never even get the privilege of eating public high school lunches everyday for three years, how will you survive without all that goop served on rice?”
