"Stop before I kiss you." from byeol to yijin!
Yijin hadn’t expected the day to go in this direction, but somehow it had. It had been fairly calm on his end, just one performance, leaving the rest of the shift free to roam the club, interact with customers if he felt like it, and pick up some extra tips. But today wasn’t about that. Today, Yijin’s entire focus was on Byeol.
He stood by the front door with him, checking people in line while chatting his ears off. He even took a break at the same time to grab some food with him and, for reasons he couldn’t quite explain himself, accompanied Byeol to the bathroom just to continue a ridiculous story about almost having to fight someone off at the mall over the last scarf. There was no stopping him.
Sure, it might have been annoying, and Byeol was very good at keeping his cool all day. But what likely pushed him over the edge was Yijin’s over-the-top playfulness. While Byeol washed his hands, Yijin, feeling attention-starved, wrapped his arms around Byeol’s middle, resting his chin on his shoulder, sad doe eyes peering at him in the mirror. He complained about how uninterested Byeol seemed all day, when in fact the man had simply been focused on his job.
To make his point, Yijin pressed closer, squeezing himself between Byeol and the sink, arms wrapped tighter, nose nuzzling into his neck. And even then, Yijin hadn’t taken the warning seriously. To be fair, he figured it was a joke, since Yijin had been overly clingy all day.
