We come to you with a thankful heart and grateful spirit for the victory you’ve given to Christopher. Father, guide your humble servant as he prepares to be exalted. Holy Spirit keep him continually wrapped in humility and empower him to be fully submitted to the Lord as honor is bestowed upon him. Let more and more grace abound! We praise God for the mighty and wonderful works he has and will continue to do in Christopher’s life in Jesus name, Amen!

In the same way, you who are younger must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT)

But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it). [Prov. 3:34.] (James 4:6 AMP).

Fear of the lord teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor. (Proverbs 15:33 NLT)

and those who humble themselves will be exalted. (Matthew 23:12b NLT)

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, (Philippians 2:3, 5, 6, 8, 9 NLT)
