* sun burned

               fingers slip , the fruit he's been musing over for about a half hour falls out of his grasp. rolling on the floor , ending up - bite side up. like some sort of poetic foolery. eyes flicker over to the young human , her silhouette's strong in his peripheral vision ; and a slow realization falls over the eternal , he's made her upset. at least , in some way , he pressed one too many buttons. it's the first time he's done this , but he recognizes the emotion right away. gears turn , trying to thing of what to say or do to lessen the load he's put on her that has caused this unhappiness.                   but first , he  picks up the apple. tossing it into the nearby garbage container and then turns. hands falling into the pockets of the royal blue sweatshirt that he's chosen to wear that morning. the gesture is more symbolic than anything else , he doesn't want to fight with her , and by physically putting his hands somewhere confined he's given her the upper hand in most physical confrontation ( at least , kind of ).           

                                           ❝ i did not mean , to insult your capabilities with that comment. i merely meant to indicate that while you are a very capable warrior , thena is literally the eternal who inspired the gods of war for mankind , she would probably win in a fight. ❞  a slight shrug follows as he takes a step forward , ❝ if she didn't have millennia of experience over you... she would probably still win , because she's an eternal. ❞ a small smile falls onto the mans lips.  ❝ i could , ask her if she'd fight you. and if it makes you feel better , you are certainly the deadliest human i've ever met and i fought with literal human heroes over the thousands of years of your history. ❞
