Customer Service Problems

Little background info before I start my story. I work at a small gas station at night, sometimes there is only one employee there except at shift change and MAYBE an hour or two overlap.

It was about 10pm-ish, about 2 hours before closing. It was fairly slow so I went outside to clean up the outside by the pumps and take out all the trash from the trashcans. I walk out of the kiosk and am looking at my cart for all of a minute, when an asshat of a customer comes up and yells at me that he has been waiting at the window for me for five minutes. He tries to break a hundred for a 5$ purchase, and I have to decline because our till can’t be over 75$ after 8pm. He gets pissed off and leaves.

About 3 minutes later I am by the dumpsters to take out the trash when some random homeless man pops out and attacks me. I take off back to my store and manage to get inside with no real harm. I hit the panic button and call the police, about two minutes later they arrive.

At this point I am sitting on the curb outside talking to an officer I AM VISIBLY SHAKEN AND SOBBING Here comes Mr.Asshat He gets mad when I tell him I can’t help him right now and the store is momentarily closed, then I try to explain what happened He interrupts me, tells me he doesn’t want to hear my shit, tells me I deserved it for being a stupid cunt, and throw a glass bottle of cola on the ground then takes off.
