What you expect: - a 9 to 5 job. Possibly even 8 to 6, but hey either way. - other young adult friends - feelings of having things under control - independence like you’ve never known before.

What it actually entails: - working in retail because your degree (your passion) isn’t as easy to get a job in as you previously thought - little to no friends - wondering if you are failing every day. - independence like you’ve never known before. being broke like you’ve never been before.

BUT HEY, at least I’ve got a 401(k)
