Jungkook and Taehyung were both standing before the throne, both holding on to weapons. The look on their faces were serious, though you thought you see a glint of mischief in Jungkook’s eyes. You looked over to Taehyung, he didn’t seem to be in a good state. You could tell that his red eyes were blurry, with a mix of dark brown. However, he was well guarded with silver metal armor while Jungkook was wearing a bronze one. The guard in the middle stood out and waved a blue flag, everyone immediately quiet down. Both Taehyung and Jungkook step closer to each other and with a sound of the loud horn, the fight has begun. Taehyung attacked first, confident that he can strike Jungkook in one shot, but Jungkook avoided it easily. Jungkook turned around and hit Taehyung’s leg with the back of his pole, causing him to fall forward. Everyone groaned on behalf of Taehyung as he regain his composure and got back on his feet.

The crowd cheered for Taehyung to get back on fighting but instead he collapsed again. It’s over for you.“ Jungkook said, a dark tone to his voice, he turned over to the audience as guards marched up to Taehyung to carry him away. 

“ All hail King Jungkook “ everyone said as they all got onto their knees. 

Jungkook scanned the crowd with his dark red eyes, after looking at Jimin and giving him a nod, his eyes landed on you. His eyes widen a little before his eyes turned back to his usual brown. He ran over to you and engulfed you in a hug, almost knocking you over in the midst of doing that.

After Jungkook took care of the rest of administrative matters, he appointed Jimin to be his right-hand man who is in-charge of taking care of everything else whenever he is not around. You were told that Seokjin was being locked up in his laboratory by Namjoon and Jungkook wanted to banish him out of the Kingdom but you stopped him saying Seokjin was just trying to do his job. Namjoon was also promoted as the head of guards for his effort in ‘ protecting the Queen ‘. 

For the benefit of the Kingdom, you have to pump 3 bottles of milk every week and deliver it for the babies, which Jungkook wasn’t happy about but you agreed to it, convincing him that it is your duty as the Queen and the least you can do to contribute. Taehyung was being locked up in the Kingdom’s cell, where he would spend the rest of his life at to repent on his and his mother’s mistake. You do feel bad for Taehyung, especially after knowing that he was drugged before the battle hence he could not perform to his best ability. However if he wasn’t drugged, Jungkook wouldn’t have won and this Kingdom would have ended up in even more chaos. 

After everything was settled, Jungkook and you were in a carriage back to the village. You waved goodbye to Jimin and Namjoon before you set off to the road back to the village. “ But... what about Jungkook ? “ you asked, eyes not leaving the view beyond the window, how everyone is rushing around. 

“ Jungkook will join you after he finishes the battle. Now hurry. “ 

“ What?! What battle? Jimin you have to tell me. “ now you are panicking, you rush to Jimin’s side to shake his arm, looking at him with your best pleading eyes. 

Jimin sighed before he pulled you by your arm, dragging you out of the room while he explained “ The King has fallen, he was poisoned and now its time for a new King to rule. There’s only Prince Taehyung and Jungkook. Since the King has not prepared who to hand the crown to, they have to fight to see who has the bigger power to rule. “ 

“ Fight?! But Jungkook... “ you trailed off, you wanted to say that Jungkook is obviously on the weaker side but you didn’t want to make it sound like Jungkook is weak or anything. “ Jimin... do you think you can help Jungkook? Taehyung clearly has the upper hand, I’m worried- “ 

“ Don’t worry Y/n , we already planned all these before hand to tackle these problems, Prince Jungkook will win for sure. “ Jimin replied confidently as both of you reached the end of the stairs. “ You just have to trust Jungkook and leave fro now, he will come to find you by today okay? “ 

You look at Jimin uncertainly, hesitating whether you should leave or wait for Jungkook. Looking at Jimin’s urgent and pleading eyes, your heart softened and got up the carriage. “ Please stay by Jungkook’s side and ensure his safety okay?” 

“ I promise I will never leave his side. “ Jimin saluted as he closes the carriage door. 

You watch as the Kingdom became smaller and smaller, you watch the city and people past by before the carriage came to a sudden halt. You stretched your head out to see whats going on. Your eyes widened as you see a familiar face riding a white horse, together with other guards, blocking the way. 

Oh no, you whispered under your breath as your voice turn shaky. You heard the commotion outside as the guards started to hold the coachman in hostage and the guards took over the carriage. The door to your carriage open, revealing a Seokjin with blank face. 

“ Please Seokjin “ you whispered as he entered the carriage and ordered the guard to turn around and head back to the castle. The whole ride was uncomfortable and tense, Seokjin was on alert the whole time as if you will jump out of the carriage and run away at any moment. 

“ Why did you do this? Did Taehyung send you after me? Please you can’t do this to me Seokjin... “ you blurted out

“ I think you got something wrong Y/n, I serve the King and the Kingdom. You are needed for the Kingdom’s babies to survive. I will not allow you to leave like this. Not before the new King isn’t decided yet. “ Seokjin said in a monotonous tone. 

Your feelings were hurt honestly. You’ve thought of Seokjin like an older brother, how he took care of you and treated you nicely. But turns out it’s just because the Kingdom needed you. You turn and face the window as the Kingdom came to view again. You wanted to run out of the carriage so badly but you have no idea where you should run to. You closed your eyes and prayed that Jimin or Jungkook will be able to save you before Seokjin locks you up in another room. 

Once you arrived at the castle, Seokjin held you captive by your arm as both of you walked up the stairs. The castle is way more empty than the first time you see it. You wonder if everyone is mourning over the King’s death or watching the fight between two brothers that is about to happen. 

Seokjin nodded off to the guards and brought you up to a far away room. Suddenly, a guard appeared and stood in your way. He had his spear pointed at Seokjin as he said “ Let go of her “ 

Seokjin looked at him before sighing “ You too, Namjoon ? You know I don’t mean any harm, this Kingdom needs her “ 

The guard, Namjoon apparently replied “ I follow orders, the instruction was to stop you from taking her. Let her go hyung, I really don’t want to fight with you.”

“ Taehyung, would you please explain to your little brother “ the King implied. You were confused as to who the King was talking to until the red eyes man speak up. Oh, so his name is Taehyung. 

“ Gladly, dad. The marbling water is a special type of water meant for the people of our kingdom to consume. We are considered the upper class and needs the special type of water to survive. It is said that babies born in the kingdom will not survive without the water. It is also why we were all surprise to know that you are alive. “ Taehyung said, turning to face Jungkook. 

“ Yes, however the supply of the water had been cut off ever since we broke the agreement between the kingdom and the village. The villagers had stopped sending us marbling water- or milk, you called it- as we broke the agreement, trespassed and fought on their land without consent. The babies in the kingdom are now placed in the lab, barely surviving with the formula we made in weak attempt to replace the marbling water and we were worries that no one would be able to carry down the blood. “ the King continued

After letting all these information sink into my head, it suddenly struck you that they were hinting to use you for your milk. Your gaze met Jungkook’s as he sees the pleading look in your eyes. “ I will not put noona in danger just for the sake of the people in the Kingdom. “ Jungkook said with his jaw set. 

“ Son, don’t you understand? Not only would you be having a mighty return but you would also be credited for bring a solution to this huge problem that had caused agony to everyone. “ 

“ I do not care about these at all. In-fact I did not plan to stay at all. I only came here to find out about my past and find my mother. However, now that she’s dead, I don’t see why I should stay here, “ Jungkook said, walking towards you, “ I will take my leave now. “ taking your hands into his before pulling you towards the gate. Just as you both were about to step out of the hall, the guards stopped you. Jungkook raised his eyebrows as he turned back. 

“ Do you really think we will let you leave after we finally found you? Besides, you brought a perfect solution to our crisis here, brother. “ Taehyung said, chuckling, sending a chill down your spine. Jungkook growled, “ Is this a challenge? “

“ Now, lets not take this so seriously, shall we? Jungkook, hand that girl over and you’re free to do whatever you want. I won’t even stop you if you want to leave. “ the King stated. 

“ And what if I don’t? “ 

“ You have to “ the King replied simply as you felt a hand on your arm, ripping you away from Jungkook. You let out a loud gasp as you reached for Jungkook. 

“ Noona! “ Jungkook yelled trying to get a hold of you but the guards blocked his way. You turn your head only to realize it was Taehyung who was holding you. You watched as Jungkook’s eyes turned red before pouncing on the guards, and punching them with such a force you never thought Jungkook had. 

“ Let go of me! “ You screamed tried to free yourself from Taehyung’s grip but to no avail, he is at least 10 times stronger than you.

He is dragging you towards the door the King entered, where more guards were guarding at. The King watched the sight in-front of him with amusement in his eyes. Jungkook growled once more and you see blood spilling out of the guard’s body as he tried to run towards you once more, only to be stopped by more guards. 

“ Jungkook !” You screamed once more before the door closed behind you. You bit on Taehyung’s hand, hearing him hiss before his grip loosen. You took this chance to turn back and reach for the door. Just before you can actually touch it, you felt your hair being pulled back harshly before a slap reach your right cheek. Your hands immediately shoot up to cup your face as you feel the sting. 

“ You little piece of bitch, you think you can escape? “ Taehyung sniggered. You were then lifted off the ground, throwing you over his shoulders. You kick and slap but he just won’t budge, eventually you gave up and silently prayed that at least Jungkook would be fine. 

After a few flight of stairs, Taehyung reached an empty floor. You had an eerie feeling as he opened up a door at the very corner, leading into a dark hallway.    “ Seokjin hyung ! “ he called out. You were ready to brace yourself for another fight when Taehyung finally let go of you. However, he didn’t seem to let go of your arms, holding them behind your body as if you’re a criminal. 

The guy, Seokjin, you assumed emerged from a room and responded to Taehyung. He then took out a long needle with purple solution in it, walking calmly towards you. Sensing danger, you started to trash and kick at him, only to be held tighter by Taehyung. 

“ Pretty girl, if you don’t stop moving, I might accidentally jab it into the wrong vein and you might just die on the spot. “ Seokjin said, smiling so warmly that you almost believe he was nice. Without warning, you felt a jab into your left arm, causing you to whimper out loudly. “ That’s it, that’s it, take it slowly. “ Seokjin whispered as he push more and more of the purple liquid into your body. 

After he is done, Taehyung let go of you as you fall onto the ground, breathing hardly. You felt your vision blurred and energy draining out of your body. Both the men watch in pleasure as the color drain from your face, your eyes losing their focus. The last thing you felt was Seokjin carrying you into a room before you entirely lose conscious.

The man standing at the doorway was around the same height as Jungkook. He had two guards behind him, both holding on to a spear. He had dark hair and a slim body-build. His eyes were a captivating color of red, on his neck hang a similar necklace to the one Jungkook has. However, you realized he had no wolf ears or tail. He looks just like a normal human. 

“ Who the fuck are you? “ Jungkook growled. The man smirk before walking closer into the house, directly in-front of Jungkook. He glance around the room interestingly before his eyes landed on you. 

“ Don’t you dare look at her “ Jungkook growled once more, standing in a way to block the man’s view of you. You took this chance to hastily put on your clothes. 

“ Is this where you’ve been living in for the past 2 years? With no one to serve you except that little pathetic human? And mostly importantly-” He stepped closer to Jungkook “ how the fuck did you survive” 

If the atmosphere wasn’t tense just now, now it is definitely suffocating. Jungkook looked like he could kill this man in an instant. Jungkook readjust his position of the weapon as he continued to glare menacingly at the man. “ Answer me, who the fuck are you “ 

“ I’m your brother, well, half brother. We share the same fucking dad, the king. You, my dearest little brother, you are a half-blood breed “ The man said smugly “ We located you here, with the help of the Kilwer ( the necklace ) - which although I must say, you mother hid you well, I certainly didn’t expect you to be alive after 2 years with no news from you- now we’re here to bring you back. “ 

“ I am not going with you, red-eyes. Leave at once “ Jungkook said 

“ Do you not want to find out your past? Do you not wonder why you are here in the human world instead of being a prince in ours? Or did this pathetic human trick you into some sorcery ? I can get rid of her at once. “ The man said in a matter of fact tone, as he raised his hands slightly to signal the guards to come get you. Jungkook growl threatening and the guards stopped at their feet. 

“ Little brother, I’m giving you a chance. Leave with me and no harm will be done. Disobey me and she will die. “ 

“ I repeat, I am not leaving with you or ditching her here. Get it into your head “ 

The man sighed, before looking at me. “ Then take her with you “ 

Jungkook turn back to look at me, hesitating between the choices. You pulled him aside and whispered into his ears “ Kookie, I promise I would help you find your mother, now there’s a big chance in-front of us. He is the key to all the secrets, you should grab the chance ! “  

“ But noona- “ You shush him with a kiss to his lips 

“ I’ll be by your side kookie, don’t worry alright ? “ You flash him a reassuring smile

And that’s how you end up in this unfamiliar place, having many people staring at you and commenting makes you feel so uncomfortable. You felt the exact same feeling years ago when the villagers outcast you. Sensing your fear, Jungkook put his arms around you and calm you down, except he is as nervous as you inside. 

Finally after what felt like years of walking, you reach the tall and grand palace with two rows of guards standing incredibly still outside. Once you were inside the palace, you were bought to a hall where there is a grand seat on the top of the stairs. As the main door opened, a bearded guy, the King- you assumed- walked in and everyone including the red-eyes man bowed down. You follow suit and pulled Jungkook down with you. 

After the King settled down onto the chair, he motioned for everyone to raise before asking Jungkook to walk forward. Jungkook, however, remain rooted to the spot. You nudged him with your elbow and repeated the King’s instructions in a whisper. Jungkook gradually walked forward with his heart thumping wildly, coming face to face with unknown guy that claims to be his father. 

The king examined Jungkook closely from his face to his toes. He stood up abruptly and Jungkook flinched, before pulling him into a hug. “ My son, you’re alive “ Jungkook awkwardly patted the King before pulling away from him “ How did you live all for the past 2 years? It was like you disappeared into thin air. I almost thought.... I thought I lost you together with your mother. “ 

You can’t believe what you just heard. You fixed your eyes on Jungkook, afraid to see how he would react. “ How....... “ Jungkook trailed off as his fist clenched. “ Jungkook, I... I’m sorry. It’s all my fault, I didn’t manage to protect her when our kingdom was under attack, but I promise, I will revenge for your mother. I will. “ There was this level of uncertainty in his voice that made you unsure, it was as if the King did not tell the full story, like he purposely left one part out. 

“ But now that you’re back, that’s everything that mattered. But I’ve see you brought a human girl with you... “ the King said as his eyes landed on me.

“ She is my noona, she took care of me and fed me with her milk since I was a baby, which was why I was able to survive and eventually grow into what I am now. “ 

 The King stared at you with disbelief. How can a girl this young have milk in her body? “ This is impossible. How can she feed you when she is this young? “

Apparently he saw a bunch of hooded figures chasing his mother while she was desperately running with Jungkook in her arms. After making sure she had lost them, she spotted a small house, which apparently was yours and hastily decide to leave Jungkook under your care. After which are the things that you already know. 

“ Are you sure the basket I came in only contain a note and this locket ? “ Jungkook asked, raising up the necklace in his hands and dangling it. 

“ Yea, I’ve checked all over, there’s only a letter, this necklace and an adorable baby in the basket “ you said with a serious tone. Jungkook blushed and rub his head against your chest as he let out a deep sigh. 

“ Sorry kookie, I should have checked before I brought you in. I promise I will try my best to help you look for her okay? “ you looked at him apologetically.

You lightly try to push his arm away which made him growl and tighten his grip. Nowadays, Jungkook tend to growl more often, his possessiveness and dominant side showing even more easily. Well, not that you really mind, you feel cared about, loved.

Giving up the thought of getting up, you turned so that you were facing him and admire his beautiful features. He sure grew up a lot. Without thinking, you lean in and peck him on the lips.
