I know that for a very long time, many were upset with the judge's refusal to allow him to be unshackled, and that has since been overturned- but it comes with him having to be taken in as to avoid photographers snapping photos of him in shackles. That being said, please remember that he is not a commodity to be used for content, and it is likely a breath of fresh air for this man to be able to use his hands freely as well as not have an insane amount of cameras in his face every time he steps out into the public. I think this right here shows the dark reality of the circus he's been forced to face throughout the three cases against him, and the precarious state of justice in this country.

Rallying around these type of issues is what will have the general public side with Luigi once the trial starts.
