For the Love of Spring!

It's Spring and it finally feels like it. Thankfully it now feels like it as well!

With the entrance of spring comes this overwhelming feeling of love as flowers bloom and the sunshines and you can have picnics outside and wear your favorite bright colors! New  things have also come to the shop! The pieces above are just a sneak peek of some of the cool things just added to the shop today and there is a lot more vintage as well as cool leather goods and jewelry.

My favorites by far are some sweet Bausch and Lomb original sunnies. There are only 3 pair and I tried very hard not to keep a pair for myself. I think that's any shop owner. It is hard to find gems or even make them and not want to give them up!

The longer version.. A girl who loves vintage, has a knack for finding the unique, has a serious involvement with fashion, creative spirit to design.. and share all those things with the world...

So a few things about Artifacts.

What is  the feel: Like walking in to a hip vintage shop that has an added rebirth of slick, only thing it's online so you can visit any time.

What do we sell: Artifacts is a combination of vintage pieces, some revitalized pieces, handmade, and pieces that may be new, but make you want to hold on to them and pass them down.  We sell jewelry, clothing, and coming soon: home goods.

Where do we get our pieces: The shop artifact is such a special store.. everything is hand picked,  you won't see just anything in the shop. That being said we get things from all over. 

Where did the idea of the Artifacts shop come from: My grandmother had a case of buy everything she could and keep it. She has spent her life going to flea markets and yard sales...as she got older she begin to give things away. The cool thing is she would have a bag of things that were gold..Jewelry and such.. it was not solid gold, but there were some amazingly unique pieces that I have come to love for the reason they are from her.. and well because I could not bear to part with such wonderful things. They will remind always of her firecracker spirit and just her cute quirkiness.
