I have been a writer for my entire remembered existence (my friends can attest to my copious note taking of literally everything that ever happened to me.. the archives of my life have seen the likes of Teen Open Diary, Xanga, and Blogspot in addition to Tumblr), and I've always hoped to one day publish my words, and the day has come!
All the Ways the Heart Can Hold is my first published anything, and it is a poetry chapbook. These poems were harvested from my dreams (my literal dreams) from July 2021-February 2022, during which time my little heart was bursting from change and possibility, so the rhythm of writing a poem every day helped me stay grounded. The poems are love poems, because doesn't the world need a few more of those? (Always.)
I am thrilled to join the Bottlecap Press family with this publication. Craig Mullins is the founder and editor-in-chief and he's been the actual coolest person to work with throughout this process.
