I’m sorry but wasn’t ya’ll the main ones complaining over the fact that females don’t get enough fights/power-ups in Naruto?? Like, no, stop. Ya’ll ain’t about to do Sarada like ya’ll did her mother, stop hating so hard and sit tf down. 

Sarada might be a gifted girl, but she also trained her Sharingan, why are ya’ll mad because she’s slowly starting to master it? Like no, bruh, stop hating and just watch the damn show.

You know, I often read comments saying that they don’t like BoruSara because “it’s too predictable” and “boring”, I personally find this as really silly comments, why? Let me explain it to you.

At the end of Naruto Shippuden a lot of people were pissed because their pairing didn’t become canon or because FOR THEM “the couples were forced since they didn’t have development”, and now, at least for me, i can see that the writers are trying to fix that, giving us character development for each one of the Boruto series, and some “shipping moments” or small interactions that lead us to think “Mh, those two would be a nice couple (Mitsuki my boy)” I think that they are doing an excelent job developing BoruSara’s relationship, I mean, right now it’s a friendship that started from hating each other and now they even have related dreams in the future (you know, the Hokage and Shadow Hokage thing), they are giving us what people used to complain about, and now they call it “boring” “predictable”, are you kidding me?????

Let me tell you something, built relationships are always at some point “predictable” if you want to call it like that, I mean, when you see two friends having deep moments, blushing at each other, having fun, enjoying each other’s company and later on they tell you that they are an official couple now will you be surprised and shocked??? Probably a little bit but deep down you saw it coming because slowly their interactions developed into something more, so yeah.

Oh and about those saying “It’s frustrated NaruSasu or NaruSaku”, nope, they are Boruto and Sarada, not their parents, they have their own story, thank you very much.

Hello everyone this is a BoruSara fanfic not an one-shot. Before you guys read this fanfic, I want to warn you this fanfic will deal with some sensitive subjects if you can’t handle it I don’t suggest you read it. If you want I can’t stop you. Please enjoy!

Chapter 1: Boruto Uzumaki

Sarada Uchiha has been missing from her parent’s life for the past year. Ever since she has been in a relationship with Kawaki. Sarada is my childhood best friend, in high school we dated, but we eventually broke up. Everyone was shocked by this. Sarada and I seem like we were perfect for each other. Don’t worry I didn’t break up with her. Ever since that day Sarada has never been the same. Not long after Sarada start going out with this guy named Kawaki. There was something really bad about him, I never said anything to Sarada. She seemed happy and that’s what I wanted for her. After high school Sarada changed and not for the better, she started talking to everyone in her life less. Then one day the calls stopped. Everyone has tried to contact her in some way, but no one has any luck. Finally we were able to, but Sarada was very distance.

“Boruto.” I heard my best friend Mitsuki call my name.

“Oh Mitsuki.”

“You’re thinking about her aren’t.” I turned around to face Mitsuki he wasn’t wrong. I just want her to answer my calls. “I can’t help it Mitsuki. Something is wrong Sarada has never done this before.”

“Boruto we have to let her live her life.” I knew Mitsuki was only trying to comfort me. I saw the look in Mitsuki’s eyes he was worried about Sarada as much as everyone else was. “Boruto I agree with you there is something about Kawaki that isn’t good.”

“Dad said that they can’t do anything, because there is nothing wrong with Sarada’s situation and they don’t any evidence.” I heard my phone ring, the caller ID was Sarada.

“Sarada.”

“Boruto.” Her voice said fragile something wasn’t right at all. “Sara are you okay.”

“I’m fine. I wondering you and Mitsuki wanted to catch up sometime. I know I haven’t been around a lot in this past year.” Something just didn’t feel right. Sarada wanted to see us which was a relief.

“Of course we can have lunch together.”

“That’s good. Sarada.” I heard a male voice in the background I could feel Sarada jump that must be Kawaki. I remember now Sarada moved in with him after high school. I remember Auntie Sakura asking me if I could talk Sarada out of it. “Look Boruto I’ll talk to you later. Tell Mitsuki I said ‘Hello,’ for me.” Before I could say anything else Sarada hung up. “It was Sarada.”

“How was she.”

“I don’t know. She said she was fine, I knew she was lying. It’s the first lie Sarada has ever told me. She has always been truthful to me no matter what. She wants to have lunch together do some catching up.” Mitsuki and I sat in silence for a few moments.

“Boruto where are you going?”

“Talk to my dad he needs to do something.”

“Boruto I can’t do anything without evidence. Sarada could be fine.” I saw the look in my dad’s eyes they were filled with sorrow and worried for Sarada. He has always had a soft spot for Sarada. He was the one who started Sarada’s nickname Sara-chan. He would always call her that. I knew Sarada look up to my dad. “Dad her voice said it all. She sounded like she was scared. Dad she lied to me. Sarada always tells the truth she can’t lie.” I saw my dad’s eye widen.

“Sara-chan is a strong independent young woman.” I knew my old man didn’t believe in his own words. We all knew something was terribly wrong.

It was around lunch time Mitsuki and I were waiting at Sarada’s favorite cafe. She already late. Sarada has always been on time no matter what. I started to get impatient, I’m really starting to worry. I heard my phone ring hoping it was Sarada.

“Hello.”

“Boruto. Mitsuki told me that you got a call for Sarada.” It was Sarada’s mother, Auntie Sakura’s voice is what I heard through the phone. “She did we are suppose to have lunch together, but she hasn’t shown up yet. Can please try and calling her. She hasn’t my calls.”

“I’ve already tried doing so, she didn’t answer like usual I was hoping she was with you two. If she does show up can you please tell her to stop by. We are worried about her.”

“I will.” Mitsuki and I waited for Sarada another thirty minutes. “Boruto I need to get back to the hospital. Let me know if she stops by.” Mitsuki left. Come on Sarada where are you? What’s happen to you? “Boruto.” I stood up to see Sarada calling my name. She always looks so beautiful. “Sarada.” It was so nice to say her name to her. I went up to her and gave her a hug, was she always this small. She look so pale, something was wrong.

“Are you feeling alright, Sarada?” I took a good look at her nothing seemed to be wrong. Maybe it was me from not seeing her in along time.

“I’m fine Boruto.” I felt her hands squeeze mine. Her hands were so small, bony, and cold. No matter how much she assured me I wasn’t buying it. Something was terribly wrong and I need to find out. “Sarada when was the last time you went to the doctor?” I asked even though it was a strange question.

“That’s an odd question Boruto. It’s been awhile I’ve just been getting over a cold that’s all. Don’t worry I went to the doctor.” It was another lie, how long was she going to keep this up. If she was sick she should have went to her mom. “How long ago was that?”

“Boruto enough with the questions. I know you’re worried but I’ll be fine.” I sighed. She was dodging all of them that’s for sure.

“Sarada everyone is worried about you. Your parents are extremely, your mother you have worried her to death. You should go see them when you have the chance.” I decided to play along with whatever game Sarada was playing on me.

“I’ve just been busy with my personal life. Kawaki and I are getting more serious.” I didn’t notice the ring on Sarada left hand until now. No she couldn’t be. I didn’t think it was that serious. “Sarada are you engaged?” It was like my heart shattered into a million pieces.

“Yes. That’s what I came here to talk about. I probably should have told my parents.” At that moment something panged into my heart. She was with another man, I’ve meant Kawaki before we don’t get along at all. Sarada was marrying someone no one in her life really knew. The real truth was that I was still in love with her, I’ve never stop loving her. When we broke up and I acted like it was okay, I just wanted Sarada to be happy who ever she was with. Even if it meant I had to sacrifice my happiness. I was naive and thinking that Sarada and I would get back together. Here we are now, she’s engage with another man. A man I can’t even stand.

“That’s great Sarada.” I put on facade face for her sake. The last thing I want to ruin is our friendship, I love her too much to do that. “You better not be lying to me, Boruto.”

“I’m trying to be happy for you. Sarada, Kawaki and I not getting along won’t interfere what you and him have.” I looked Sarada directly in the eye when I said that. Her eyes had a different expression than her voice and words. It was like they were crying out for help. “Sarada are you happy?” I needed to know if she wasn’t.

“Of course I am. I’m marrying him aren’t I.” Her voice became weak. “Boruto thank you for this chat. I have to go.” Her voice sounded like she was scared of something. She pull me into a hug and gave me a weak squeeze. Her eyes were glossy. “Hey don’t go.” I grabbed a hold of her wrist. “Please Boruto.” Her voice…then I let go of it.

BoruSara Fanfiction Week

Two types of submissions will be allowed:

1. Fanfiction

Everyday will have two prompts. You’re allowed to choose any one you like.

Important Note:

Every writer participating, should at least submit two stories.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a drabble or a piece of more thank 10k words. You need to submit two stories at the least.

2. Fanart

Yes, it is a fanfiction week but you’re allowed to submit fanarts!

Although the catch is -

The fanart to be submitted has to be related or based on to any Fanfiction. It can be related to your own Fanfiction or somebody else’s.

But please provide a link of the fanfiction you’ve made your art based on. Make sure you give proper credits to the writer.

No character bashing. Your submissions will be rejected.

No ship bashing. Any content containing bashing in regards to any pairing will not be accepted.

NSFW content is accepted. But please place it under the cut.

No stealing or plagiarism.

If you’re inspired by someone’s work then please do not forget to give them credits.

Tag your works as ‘borusaraffweek’ and 'bsffweek’.

I will also be tracking down ’borusarafics’ tag.
