Ignite (a Yume Nikki fangame)

I like this question! Sorry for the lengthy answer!

Back when I first made Ignite, I didn’t really have much of a defined style for it. yeah Feutsuki was a bit stylized at the time but the rest of the game was just whatever I could come up with. I’ve had loads of time to work on the style of Ignite and practice on my pixel art skills to be able to present the world I wanted to make for the game. Admittedly a lot of this time wasn’t spent focusing on Ignite, rather other projects. But I always ended up coming back to it. As you can probably see on the blog I’ve went through MANY versions of Feutsuki before I settled on this one. It makes the most sense to me tbh,  I’ve heard people say they liked the original/very first image of Feuts with his eyes open so I went half and half with the sprite. As for the Remake question, this is Ignite totally remade from the ground up. I’m using an official version of RM2K3 that will hopefully make it run/feel better to play for others with less issues. (Back when I was 17 I had to use what I had for the original ignite) Though the game itself is based off of the OG game, not Dying Flame. (Think of Dying Flame as a terrible reboot I attempted) So it really is a remake/remaster. I still have a lot to do, I’m working on it with my own leisure, but the version you’re seeing in my most recent posts IS the version that I’m happy with working on.
