So I just finished up my last final and I am going to Florida for a few days which is stressful because flying is so complicated when you are overweight. Anyhow, I decided to focus on the positive, I aced all my finals and in my hardest class, Local & State government my final grade was a 92. I went to tell my parents,celebrating and all happy and my dad looks at me and goes ‘That’s too bad, you could have done better’. My heart fucking broke. In highschool I was the kid that did not care or try and I got by, by the fucking skin of my god-damned teeth. Now that I am in college and trying I still can’t get praised. My sister use to get the same kind of grades that I’m getting now and they all but threw her a fucking parade because they were proud of her and she is the favorite (it’s not her fault just stating a fact). I can’t stop crying and wondering if I could have done better and maybe I could have but I tried. I tried hard and I got a good fucking grade and in return I got a ‘that’s too bad’. Just what the actual fuck. Is this real life? Whose parents act like this?
