Meaverum (N.) (may - vehr - um)
Derived from the words "mea" and "verum," meaning "personal truth." Anything which is derived from something other than the material, physical earth and reality others live in, regardless of whether it exists in your personally observed reality. This serves as an alternative to the word fiction. (E.g. "works of meaverum")
Meaverine (Adj.) (may - vehr - een)
Characterized by being meaverum. (E.g. "my favorite meaverine character is...")
Derived from the words "true" and "verum" (from meaverum), meaning "true truth." A term for those who fully believe in "fiction" or meaverum as their reality. Certain works of meaverum may be as real to them as the material earth is to you. This could be due to spirituality, plurality, delusion, being isofic, etc.
An alternative to fictionfolk, meant for those who are truverum or simply prefer the term meaverum.
An alternative to fictionkin, meant for those who are truverum or simply prefer the term meaverum.
An alternative to fictive, meant for those who are truverum or simply prefer the term meaverum.
Derived from "mea" (from meaverum) and "universe," meaning "personal universe." An alternative to source, meant for those who are truverum or simply prefer the term meaverum. (E.g. my meaverse is Alien Stage.)
Derived from "mea" (from meaverum) and "relationship," meaning "personal relationship." An alternative to selfship, meant for those who are truverum or simply prefer the term meaverum.
An alternative to F/O, meant for those who are truverum or simply prefer the term meaverum.
A term I personally thought of to distinguish between the self others perceive and the meaverum self I perceive. We often distinguished between the two by saying "myself as [x]" (such as "myself as mydei,") but it's a bit clunky and dysphoric. Hence, meaself. (E.g. "works involving meaself are often inaccurate.")
These were made and intended for those who are alterhuman (namely fictionfolk or destoral), introjects, selfshippers, POFSI, isofic, etc, but anyone can use these words and terms.
For those who intend on making content related to meaverum, being meaverine, or being truverum, I do strongly encourage tagging it as unreality. Delusional and psychotic people may be triggered by this sort of content.
