hi guys! it's been a while huh.
i'm so so sorry for dipping with no notice, i've had the most batshit crazy past few months including but not limited to my dad breaking four ribs, my grandad being diagnosed with leukemia, an mri for myself that resulted in needing surgery and more. the ao3 curse is real and i am a victim of it. i did get a cute tattoo at some point in the chaos tho so it was worth it.
i'm now in a much more stable period and so wanted to come back online because i genuinely love the people on here (missed you mooties!) and the community. i probably won't be as active as before (first year uni is kicking my ass lol) but i'm back!

The Palestinian AndromedaÂ

There are a few different interpretations of the myth of Andromeda from Greek Mythology ( the princess chained to a rock to be saved by Perseus), the tale references both Palestinian and Ethiopian origins, in some myths describing her father and mother to be the rulers of the Kingdom of Jaffa (Palestine), I wanted to honor both as presenting her as a Palestinian Princess of Ethiopian origin. The myth especially means a lot to me as a Palestinian who’s family was ethnically cleansed from Jaffa in the 1940s, a tale from home.Â
