There has recently been these so called Tumblr associates with the blog name 'notifications' or 'notification team'. DO NOT TRUST THEM. When I first got this, I reported to the REAL Tumblr team and they told me that the account was not real and that it is fake. (And violated their rules)

Ways to see that they are a fake!!!

VERY LITTLE POSTS (This is a big thing, if they are an official notification account, then they would have more than one posts right?)

OFFICIAL EMBLEM (The real Tumblr team has a badge that verifies that they are legit, it is seen as a blue shield with the Tumblr 'T' logo on top of it.)

RANDOM TAGGING OF MANY PEOPLE (As far as I know, Tumblr will mostly email you if you need to do something with your account)

ALWAYS CHECK LINKS (See a random link that they say you need to click? Don't do it! These are often little scams until your personal info is put on the server and then its a big problem!)

With my personal experience, The most recent scam that happened (Yesterday) I had added a comment on their post for anyone who sees it. I said that these guys are a scam, do not trust them. You know what they did? THEY BLOCKED AND DELETED MY COMMENT. They tried to keep me quiet!

But not for long...
