And don’t get me started on pubic hair.

I see all this wonderful art of the women of the red dead universe perfectly hairless. Even the game models are, from what I’ve seen, but correct me if I’m wrong.

And not only was shaving something nobody really did in that era, but they’re outlaws for gods sake! You think they have the resources for shaving supplies on the run? No! You think that the women OR men have access to such regular bathing to shave? No!

so even the characters as princely as Mary Gillis Linton would’ve had natural armpit, leg, and pubic hair.

we see plenty of models in the game where armpits are exposed on the women and none of them have body hair, despite having dark hair.

so when I see a piece of fanart that depicts a woman from this game with no natural hair (provided it’s not a modern au or anything) it pisses me off. you think John marston cares that Abigail had natural armpit hair? NO! Because everybody has it!

the worst part is, people draw all of the men with their appropriate amount of body hair. And not the women. I think that is sexist.

look, guys. If you wanna draw the girls without it, that’s fine. When you’re making nsfw art, sometimes that’s what you want. We can draw whatever we want. I’m not saying you have to, but it’s history.

but this is a PSA: GIVE THE WOMEN THEIR BODY HAIR!!!
