one day someone will see you exactly for who you are, all your flaws, the mistakes you make.

they will learn about your past, try to understand your present and plan your future together.

and they will love every aspect of it.

not because you are perfect, most likely because you are not.people recognize their very own darkness within you and understand what makes you you.

after years of dreading of falling in love again I walked right into it, unknowingly. and I was not ready at all, not even one bit.

I did not know what was ahead of us.

learning how to communicate after not being treated properly for years did some mayor damage to my self esteem, trust and most importantly my heart.

I did not know how to receive help, little acts of kindness or even process the love he was verbally trying to communicate. love was a scary concept to me. everyone that said those three words to me had led me down.

little by little he managed to pull me out of it. took care of me, made me smile again and never gave up on me, even if I fell back in my old ways.

I know that I can be a handful at times and so is he, nothing makes me more mad than he does but there is not one thing I love more than him.

he is my person, the one I always envisioned by my side. the one I prayed for at night.

I did not know what love could be and do to you if it is real and reciprocated.

it triggers the hell out of you but heals you at the same time.

real love does exist, but it is not found but build.
