The inaugural CroCroland. What a great festival! 2 stages and a whole shed load of great bands. 

A brilliantly gender balanced festival. If people say they don’t know of any predominantly female bands - tell them to look at the bill for this festival and think again.

SLOW READERS CLUB - Vinyl Revolution, Brighton. 09/04/2019

Slow Readers Club were performing at Concorde II later in the evening but managed to put in time for an acoustic set at Vinyl Revolution and sign merchandise for the fans who’d come along.

An acoustic set to publicise the release of their new album ‘In Search of The Miraculous’. Vinyl Revolution used their downstairs retail space to hold acoustic sets.

MUDLOW - Vinyl Revolution, Brighton - Record Store Day 2018 21/04/2018.

The unusual sight of MUDLOW in the sunshine (their words not mine).

WHITE ROOM - Vinyl Revolution, Brighton - Record Store Day 21/04/2018.

WHITE ROOM ‘annoying’ the neighbours in Duke Street as a stripped down version of the band played a short set outside in the sunshine. 

The audience were treated to two new tunes ‘Red Stripes’ and a song that didn’t have a name at the time of posting. Decent tunes that will fit in well with their current catalogue. 

WHITE ROOM were there to promote ‘Eight’ which is available on vinyl and was for sale on RSD2018.

MUDLOW - The Prince Albert, Brighton. 13/04/2018.

An album launch for retrospective album ‘Waiting for the tide to rise.’

It’s an album chock full of the sort of heart-achingly beautiful, growling menace and soulful blues that you don’t hear often. They are a one off. 

I was asked to provide some pictures for the inside of the album and the MUDLOW chaps chose these. (i know! Colour pics again)

THE BLACK DELTA MOVEMENT - The Hope & Ruin, Brighton 06/04/2018.

THE BLACK DELTA MOVEMENT are out and about promoting their new album ‘PRESERVATION’ (you should get a copy because it really is very good). They did a couple of gigs as a warm up for their European jaunt later in April/May. The Brighton one was as support to St.Agnes.

THE BLACK DELTA MOVEMENT have recently changed their whole rhythm section, which may make you think that they would struggle to play with the power they have done in the past. You would be absolutely WRONG. They were as thumpingly grand as you would expect.

THE BLACK DELTA MOVEMENT are now: Matt Burr (guitar & vocals), Dominic Abbott (guitar), Sarah Shiels (bass) and Carlos Macklin (drums).
